   Another excellent meal at Zola last night. Great vibe with the patrons. Burrata and preztel starters; four different main plates perfectly executed and two good bottles of wine. All 4 in my party were pleased. Too full for dessert, always next time! Thanks Zola!

   I've been here a number of times and it's a great experience every time. Great food, excellent waitstaff and bartenders, service is outstanding, and the ambiance is casual hip and the bar is great for people-watching.

   Trendy and place to be seen but food does not live up to the menu. Ordered all 3 amuse buche. Only the olives were tasty. Main was gnocchi which was good. Beef cheek bouginoin was actually bad. Cheek was clearly cooked separately as one pice which is a cute cooking technique but it was flavorless. How do you do that? Final check before tip was $200.

   The food is very good, more californien than French :) The service is super friendly and less nuanced than I need to relax fully: more attention to the flow of conversation between guests so as to not interrupt it to check in with guests.

    Eat outside if you can. Great people=watching, and the noise level is quite moderate. I really hate that they add 3% to the bill as a "living wage" fee or some BS like that. Just increase the prices by 3%!

    The service was amazing. The host( believe his name was Duncan. Blonde with a mustache) was so accommodating and on top of it. Our reservation was at 8, and we ended up having to wait a little bit. He was so apologetic, got us a round of drinks as an apology, and kept checking in with us. The great: Beef cheek Gnocchi Brussels Burrata Meatballs Chocolate mousse Host Server Good Drinks Ok: Fries Macaroni and cheese Seared tuna Not good: Gem salad Salami

    The cocktails are ridiculously small for the price. Very limited salad selections, only two. My steak was delicious and the Pinot, Avere (Sanford & Benedict) was excellent.

    The food was excellent. We did wait quite a while for our server to come to us but he was pleasant. Our entree did take quite awhile and the frites were lukewarm . But the steak was absolutely delicious as was the side vegetable. It was difficult to carryon a conversation at times due to the noise level.

    Main courses (beef cheeks, king salmon, and gnocchi) were good but not outstanding. Bretzels with warm Gruyère sounded much better than it tasted. Portions are small and prices high. Hard to converse because the noise level is so loud. Service was excellent.

    Great food and drinks, on expensive side. Outdoor table near the restaurant window not so confotable due to people passing by. Heaters do not cover all the people at the table and on chilly night.....

    Another outstanding meal at Zola - from the truffle soup to the gnocchi, pork chops, halibut and citrus tart - everything was perfectly balanced with flavor and quality. This is the most consistent, best restaurant in Palo Alto.

    Super loud and the food is not good for the price. Highly disappointed. Started with the salad for $17. It was a bowl of Romain leaves, oil and vinegar and a couple pieces of beets. Ordered the salmon and halibut and both were odd mix of flavors and vegetables didn’t match. Gosh was also over cooked.

    We had theatre tickets and were looking for a nice place to eat near the Lucie Stern Theatre. This turned out to be the perfect spot!! Food was well-prépas. Service was efficient yet welcoming. Had a relaxed pleasant dinner and made it to the theatre just on time!!

    This was one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I have ever had. First they messed up my reservation and tried to force us outside. Then they changed the time of our reservation. Then when we arrived, they seated us in the very noisy bar—trying to have a conversation was impossible. We spent all our time trying to shout over the loud discussions and the too-loud music. Finally, they brought in a DJ who played an annoying techno beat. I used to enjoy this restaurant. I will not be returning.

    I had to send back both my dishes as they were inedible. The muscles were rank and had gone bad and my steak was cooked to shoe leather and was a poor quality of beef. They ended up comping our dinner as we couldn't eat most of the dishes ordered. The waitstaff was lovely however the quality of food was abysmal.

    Went for Valentine’s Days tasting menu. Noticed a lot of people were complaining but wasn’t too worried about it. They forgot our second course and we ended up waiting 45mins, which was rough because we just got off work and had not eaten. We arrived on time but didn’t end up leaving the restaurant till almost 2 1/2 hours later because service was so slow. We paid $140 each and the food wasn’t that great. To be honest only one course was good everything else was pretty bad. Kind of disappointed.

    Came here for Valentines. They have the 4 course prix fixe menu for $140 pp. Food was decent. The service was realllly slow, the 4 course meal took us THREE hours. Vibe was cool but the slow service just killed the whole experience for us.
