The service was good. Food was ok, id rank it some where in the middle of the tapas places in the GR area.
Went to Zoro to celebrate 2 of my daughters birthdays. Sat outside and enjoyed the urban/industrial setting that is becoming more common as the Grand Rapids restaurant scene continues to grow.
We are a family that loves to sample each other’s meals, so the format of Zoro with the bite sized Pintxos and the larger tapas was perfect. We enjoyed the wide variety of choices, as well as the many gin based drinks.
All in all a very enjoyable experience.
We were celebrating a birthday, so wanted to indulge a little. Had good food and excellent service. It was a fun evening.
It was a little bit loud but otherwise this is going to be our new favorite restaurant.
Great food and great atmosphere. A very unique menu with options for everyone. Our waitress was awesome and answered all of our menu questions with ease as well as keeping or drinks and bellies full. Would defiantly recommend to a friend.
We stopped in for restaurant week to try it out and were overall disappointed with the food. The smoked trout mashed potatoes were extremely fishy. Chorizo was missing braised Apples. The sheeps milk cheese was cubed with olive oil poured over the top.
Large selection of gin if that is your thing. Lacking in the burbon selection.
My 3rd visit, 1st with fam. We ate outside.
10 yr old and grumpy teen both found food they liked. It's a win!
The only down side was the flavor of the Sea Bass, which was our main dish. Not reasoned well, and chick peas were also bland, which came with the fish.
The tapas were very good.
Ambiance is great, and music level was perfect for the intimate venue.
Service was great and the food was delicious! The main courses of Chicken, Steak and Pork were perfectly seasoned and very tasty.
Loved it! The food was delicious and priced well so that we could try a ton of different things. Drinks were great and we always enjoy outdoor seating. Can’t wait to go back!
Imaginative food from the Basque region of southern France and northern Spain. One of our favorite places in GR.
Wonderful service, one of a kind menu and great ambiance. The outside is a bit off-putting but the interior is lovely and enhances the fabulous tasting food. A great experience. Every dish was truly exceptional.
The food is excellent and there is a very nice selection of unique wines. I took my husband and a friend here -- it was my second visit -- and both raved about the food. I lived in Spain many years ago and have been back a few times since; the food is authentic and the chef talented. The staff is friendly and goes the extra mile -- a couple of times we ordered dishes that would have come with only one or two items and we were always alerted to that fact and asked if we wanted the kitchen to make the dish for three.
Everything was fabulous. We would recommend it to anyone that enjoys Tapas. We will definitely be back.
We really enjoyed our meal. The tapas were very tasty as was the dessert. We enjoyed being able to try different gins. We're from Dallas, so used to higher prices, but we felt the tapas and drinks were priced very reasonably. 6 people, 6 drinks, 10 tapas, and 3 desserts for $200 seems like a deal to me. Especially since everything was delicious and the service was great.
Amazing food and service! Love this place!
Ryan is a brilliant and creative chef. The Tortilla Espanola, croquettes de jamon and Spanish custard dessert are authentic. Love the wide variety of greens used for the different dishes. The 36-month aged ham is divine. Outdoor dining space is witty and fun.
Great urban vibe. We sat outside on a beautiful evening. Good drinks and sharing plates. Live music from across the street but it was fun. Zoko should turn off their outdoor music when a live band is playing as it just competed and made noise.
The best brunch I have ever had! Took my significant other here for Sunday brunch and we got a bunch of different items! We loved each and every one of them! We will definitely be coming back for more—and hopefully soon!
We had an excellent dining
experience tonight. The food
quality and service were both top knotch!
Jamon Del Diablo, Gazpacho De Guisantes, Ajo Dulce y Camembert, Banderilla
Patatas Bravas, Pan Con Tomate, Pimientos Shishito, Albondigas De Pollo, Tortilla Espariola, Brocheta de Carne (our favorite)
For dessert, we had the donuts. There was a slight mixup on the Pimientos Shisito, so the dessert was on the house, which wasn't
necessary, but was a very nice touch and greatly
Delicious food! Really nice flavour combinations. Pictures on menu would help clueless customers (that'd be me) and save servers time explaining but I understand them not wanting to do that for fear of 'cheapening' the gourmet experience.
Dieters would appreciate simple green salad and fresh fruit offering.
I've been twice and would like to go again.
A diamond in the rough.
Love this place! Delicious creative drink menu and amazingly consistent quality food and flavors.
Good was excellent. Great atmosphere and service. Outdoor patio looks fantastic however it was storming outside so we could not enjoy that. Will definitely be dining here again!
Great food and service
Friendly staff, great happy hour deals, great food!
The food was excellent. The wait staff was solid , but disinterested.
Thank you for our fun night. We were celebrating a graduation. Several of us had never had tapas. It was a great experience. Everything was delicious and the food came out quickly.
We loved it! Live music was great, food was great, server was very friendly and helpful.
We went for the Mother's day buffet and I really enjoyed the food. There were a lot of dairy-free items which delighted me. Looking forward to going back to sample their normal menu.
We went for Mother’s Day brunch and honestly it was such a let down. They weren’t offering their usual menu, just a small buffet. Everything was either cold or lukewarm. The only thing that tasted good was their pork loin, but unfortunately was cold as well.
I think more than anything I’m lost disappointed in the service. I had my five year old sister with me and asked if they were able to get some pieces of toast to go with eggs - since there was nothing else there for her to eat. They were very rude and rolled their eyes as they were walking away. They also kept taking our silverware from us without asking if we were done, or offering to replace it. It was $30/a person and there’s no way on that buffet anyone could get full. Just a very disappointing experience.
I would recommend Zoko for evening/dinner as we’ve had much better experiences in the past, however, the Mother’s Day brunch buffet was mostly unremarkable. It took a large wait staff a long time to recognize us for coffee/drinks despite having made a reservation. We had to flag our waitstaff down and then we were surprised by a less than inspiring brunch for the price... we were hoping for more exciting tapas options and a more unique experience. We’ll definitely stick with dinner dates at Zoko in the future.
Zoko is for those with an experimental palate who are willing to spend a bit of money for their alimentary needs. The small Tapas plates are a favorite for my family and I, although there are other options available which can be consumed like traditional entrées. Over all, Zoko is fantastic for special occasions that require a fun atmosphere and an exciting coffee-shopesque environment.
From the moment you walk in, you know that you are going to have a unique dining experience. Zoko is warm and welcoming. The food is fantastic. We loved the tapas or small plates and everything we ordered was delicious and artfully presented. My recommendation would be to order a variety of small plates, and share with friends. Zoko is a truly enjoyable and delightful experience and so reminiscent of Spain. We will definitely be back!
What a unique experience, very cool place, great vibe, 90+Gins.
Service was terrible! Was not busy and it took forever! Almost left.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in GR right now. It is consistently delicious and we’ve always had great service!
My Group indicated that the food was very good and they enjoyed the tapas experience.
Excellent! We did the wine pairing and it was spot on. Definitely would recommend
Great food and great service! We'll be back.........................!!!!!!!
Very friendly staff, food is excellent. We went for lunch, but can see this would be a great place for drinks and casual nights out with friends. Great selection of small plates and shareable offerings.
