As a former food server and bartender, I am very forgiving, but waiting over 30 minutes, then having to go to the hostess stand just to pay your bill so you can go home leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Not remotely what you would expect at a place like Zocalo.

Mother’s Day dinner. Everything was perfect until my grilled salmon arrived seared rather than grilled. I was glad is wasn’t overdone but I reluctantly sent it back to be cooked. The server took away my dinner. Mom ate while I waited. and waited. She ordered dessert. She ate dessert. Servers apologized. At last my dinner arrived. A new chunk of salmon (perfectly grilled) was placed on my original plate of now tepid beans rice and wilted spinach salad. Weird. The food was great but I don’t know what happened with my dinner. No charge for my meal. But I wish it hadn’t happened.

Great service, had reservation for outside, but they moved us inside at our request. Server was great. Water came fast, chips came fast, food came fast and tasted great. It is a little noisy in there, but Mothers Day at noon, what do you expect?

Delicious food, great service, and the restaurant is beautiful inside! I celebrated Mother's day here with my mom and my daughter 💕 (great kids menu too) but I think this would make a great romantic date restaurant too!

Great Baja fish tacos and shrimp tacos are excellent. Service was first class and house Paloma was excellent. Every time we have dined here it’s been organized and the staff has been helpfull at making our inning experience great.

I have never had a hot meal at either Zocalo restaurant. Tacos fall apart too easily. Drinks are inconsistent. With so many Mexican restaurants available that can deliver a hot plate of good food, I will skip Zocalo in the future.

they had advertised for Cinco de Mayo with a Mariachi band. We arrived and there was no band.. it took 45 minutes for our food to come and only half of us got food left over an hour later and 2 of us never got our food. They had ONE waiter for the entire patio. very bad planning for service.. kitchen was obviously understaffed too.

We had a great meal, good service, at a beautiful place. My only critique is that we were seated right under a speaker and the music was so loud that it was hard to hear each other. Next time I will ask for a table a bit farther from the speakers.

Our waiter was pleasant and very accommodating. The food was very good. I had enchiladas with mole. I really enjoyed the mole. We sat outside in the patio which was pleasant. The only negative was the music was on too loud.

The ambience here is fantastic. I love how open the indoor area is and all of the beautiful lights. I typically choose outdoor dining when it is an option, but I am always just as happy to eat inside at Zocalo UV. Our service was excellent and our food served warm and prepared well. The fish tacos were just perfect. The Amaretto infused French Toast was okay. I had 2 bites that tasted of Amaretto (the reason I ordered it), and the remaining bites (out of 4 half-slices) tasted like ordinary French Toast. The coffee was very good!

We decided to do lunch at Zocalo, it was my first time & I loved every minute. It was properly staffed. They were friendly but not overbearing and efficient. I am coming back.
