Baja Fish Tacos
Don't miss our most popular tacos. Beer battered, with chipotle aioli, pico de gallo, and topped with fresh repollo
Our most popular! De La Casa Margarita made with blackberry purée. In honor of Zócalo's first bar manager and his first cocktail, Joe Anthony Savala
Slow-cooked pork, chile morita salsa, tomatillo pico de gallo
HH fish tacos were the perfect size for me and the strawberry basil drink was very good.
Beautiful space, lots of light and open. Will definitely return.
What's worse than no mariachi on Cinco do Mayo? Ugly modern music, which is what they played. I also disliked having to see the menu, order, etc. on my phone. My worst trip to Zocalo!
Paying on the phones is AWFUL. Please stop this and let's get back to having a normal waiter/waitress experience. It would make it easier on the waiters/waitresses as well and I'm sure they would receive larger tips. I do not give as large of a tip now because I have to do most of the work on my phone.
Don't like the platform to order via phone. Going to a restaurant is about talking and working with a server. Hopefully this changes soon!
Very accommodating and nice!
Ordering on a cell phone was problematic and is no substitute for a waiter you can ask questions of. The food was barely warm when delivered and was not very good. The sauces tasted like they were straight out of a jar. We ordered the blackberry margarita and couldn't taste any alcohol which, for over $12 each was a rip off. It was like they mixed a little fruit juice in a glass of water. Overall, not a good dining experience.
Great food every time. It’s a very lively place. Having the menu on your phone was convenient, but the older person in our group had s trouble and everyone’s phone couldn’t access the menu.
The food was great
A great outdoor dining spot with overhead covering. Well spaced and contact free ordering and payment.
I ordered fish tacos- two kinds, fried and grilled.
Honestly, they were a little bland and boring. Not bad, just boring. I'd like more flavor, or maybe something creamy.
If I were on a diet, these would be good. But I wanted something more exciting than that!
Great time. It was a first and certainly not my last. I will admit I loved the guac more than anything.
Definitely will return. Food and service was fantastic.
Service was terrible (drinks not brough out, water not refilled, to go order not made, could not find server, app to pay bill from phone would not work, etc.)
The food was cold when served when we were the send people to come in. Our server never came by and we had to ask 2 different people for silverware to even eat our food. Not a customer friendly place to go.
The stars say it all - everything was fantastic. I highly recommend this place and I plan to return soon.
Usually my favorite in town, but not lately.
- beans were cold
- plate was cold
- ordering online took 15 minutes due to cumbersome system
- service was slow and requests were forgotten
- hostess staff was hostile when asking us to wait out front
I LOVE Zocalo and was saddened to see standards decline. I also haven't been able to link my orders with my points systems for about a year. How many different websites does Zocalo have now?
Restaurant was nice to bring comped drinks while we waited for our table
Made a reservation. There were plenty of empty tables. We waited awhile. It seemed disorganized.
It is always a great meal and margaritas at Zocolo. The only thing I would see making it an even better experience is a lower music level and maybe a different type of music. It was a little hard to hear my group across the table and I felt like I should have glow sticks and be dancing at a rave.
Overall it’s wonderful and I’ll be back.
Great food, ambience, service and location is also awesome..
The food was so-so. They seem to prefer quantity over quality. I found the food lacking in flavor and over salted. It’s hard to assess service since it is minimal. All ordering is done on one’s phone, including payment. So all the staff have to do is bring the food and drinks.
We brought our friend from San Francisco for lunch and he really enjoyed the atmosphere the food the drinks he really enjoyed everything and we did also. I would’ve liked if the customer service was a little bit more on top of it we got our drinks kind of late we didn’t get water right away or out ice, but overall the food was good
Super chill environment, friendly staff, and bomb food!
It was a great night, service and food very good ! Thanks
We reserved a table for 4:45 showed up 15 minutes before and they seated us right away. Even tho everything is done thru your phone ordering wise the waiting staff is still very helpful. Great place definitely will be back soon!
We loved Zocalo, but since the pandemic their food quality has greatly declined. I ordered takeout a couple of times that was mediocre at best. So we thought we would dine in last weekend, and my husband had to send his steak back, and the rest of us just wasted our food and money because we didn’t want to be rude and return everything. Margaritas were good, but everything else was unfortunately terrible. We won’t be retuning:(
The atmosphere was relaxing and the food was very good.
Excellent food and service. Steak quesadilla was the best ever.
Waitress wonderful feel like home the food I love it great place to seat outside
Sadly, it was not a good experience. The menu (expectedly) was via QR code, however they also expected you to order and pay via the web. Making the server simply a food delivery person. Seriously, if I were a professional server I would be more than offended. If I wanted to order and pay on my phone I would have gone to chilies or Red Robin. The food was mediocre and their red sauce for the enchiladas tased more like spaghetti sauce. The whole experience was underwhelming and a bit off putting. If you are looking for good Mexican food with an upscale twist... this is not the place. Sorry.
Food quality was average to disappointing. All preceding done on App via QR code. Service was subpar, with the exception of the hostess, who was very friendly and accommodating. I was looking forward to checking the place out. I like the ambience and setting inside and outside. I was just disappointed in the food and felt it was overpriced for the taste, quantity and value.
Expected a lot more with this place. The food was simple no taste.
Ditch the order/pay through your phone situation, don’t serve old guacamole, don’t bring a margarita out at the end and claim one of them wasn’t ordered via your online menu, and maybe we’ll return all the time like we used to. Felt like I was ordering doordash to my table and the kicker was the server making a fuss about having to input a drink order herself. I asked for my bill twice only to find out they expect me to pay through their website. No thanks, I’m at a restaurant for a reason. I asked for my bill & paid cash. Not coming here again for a while.
food was not great. guac was excellent. good ambiance overall
Menu extremely limited
Came here with my fiancé. Wanted something healthy but ditched that quickly when we realized it was happy hour.
Ricardo the manager was astounding. I’m not trying to be corny but in the car on the way home, I had tears in my eyes because I really felt how much the staff cared for their job here and so many people, after being locked up for a year, many are still SO BLIND*** to how hard industry people work to make people happy and enjoy their experience.
I truly felt so blessed to experience dinner here. Ricardo, the bartenders, the bar manager, the bussers, and runners, were all busting their butts to ensure the restaurant excelled. I see y’all. Food was fantastic as always.
Great job everyone 👏
