I love the glass art at Zocalo! Both the exterior and interior of the place are neat. The tequila drinks were great, we had Paloma’s and Guava Margaritas. The dishes were interesting, but they had run out of steak for one of their specialties at 6pm on a Friday. That was quite disappointing. The manager offered to replace with tri-tip, which was clearly intended for another dish and was super dry. We appreciated the flexibility, but pro-tip, just don’t run out of major ingredients on a Friday evening. With this said, the service was very good! They brought a special margarita and a desert for my FIL’s birthday celebration, which really was a nice touch. The spot is quite loud and full of families with children. You definitely get the suburban strip mall feel.

We went to Happy Hour on Friday afternoon, a semi-regular thing for us. We made a reservation the night before which is usually necessary for weekends. We were seated right away by the super friendly hostesses. As always, the service and food were both exceptional. We absolutely love this place.

We were celebrating our one year wedding anniversary as well as the Gender Reveal of our first baby! (ITS A BOY!) The service was AMAZING! They made accommodations for us to be moved to a more private room and made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The waiters and host also celebrated with us when we cut the cake, it was a great celebration! We will be returning and recommending Zocalo to our friends and families, thank you!

It was a quiet time and we enjoyed the peace. The food was delicious. The berry margarita was nice and strong. They were very attentive. We couldn’t wait to try their tres leches but they did not have it available this day. We hope it’s available next time.

As always the food was great and the service was prompt and courteous. Its been a while but as usually great experience. We did have a reservation and it was my wife's birthday and they seated us in the middle of the restraunt, not happy with that but did not impact the experience.

Great experience!! The service by our server, Kelly, was outstanding! She was friendly, efficient, and professional. She was highly attentive to us and paid close attention to details. We made reservations for a table of 8 to celebrate my husband birthday. We requested a table in the back room by the fireplace and received what I requested. The good was delicious!!

We went for Happy Hour on a Friday night. We made a reservation the day before, which was necessary from our previous experience. We were seated at a very nice booth immediately. As always, the service was exceptional from all involved (and there are many people involved, all very much in synch for their different duties). We had 3 items from the Happy Hour food menu and a pitcher of margaritas. Everything was excellent, and the cost was super reasonable, especially considering the quality of both the menu items and the overall experience. See you again soon!

We went here for my mother in-laws birthday dinner. We noted it in the reservation. The restaurant was extremely loud and the service terrible. We received an insane amount of chips probably to compensate for how slow the food was coming out. Ordered the flautas to share as an app and weren’t given share plates. The food took almost an hour to come out and we had a toddler in our party of 5. All of our food came out and he still had to wait an additional 15 min for his kids quesadilla! It was not fun as he was very hangry! I had to ask the server to take the quesadilla off the bill. He didn’t seem to care about how our experience was going. When he asked what desert we wanted I assumed it was going to be a complimentary birthday desert for the birthday girl… nope! Brought out the churros and ice cream without the sparklers. Nothing special. When I told our server when we were paying that he had forgotten it was her birthday he said he didn’t know. Ok that was his opportunity to take the desert off the bill but instead he just brought out another desert with the sparkler that nobody ate because we had already eaten so many chips when we were waiting for our food. To top it all of there were some young children soliciting to sell chocolates from table to table that was really disruptive to our dinner and management did nothing about. Nothing like feeling sorry for children selling chocolates while you’re trying to have a nice dinner! Will not ever come back!

My wife and I were there for a late Valentines celebration. This is our first time do the restaurant and we were pleased with every single dish and all aspects of our visit. It definitely ranks is the number one Mexican food restaurant we’ve ever eaten there and we have eaten at hundreds.

This was a valentines dinner. What a ripoff. We paid $200 for food that was just awful. The service was very attentive so there is that but after including the 18% gratuities they had the audacity to “Offer” an opportunity to apply more tip. The music they played was 90s rock with periodic Mexican music. Not romantic at all. The setting was nice though with flowers everywhere. We could have gotten much better food at a taqueria, minus the ambiance. We will never recommend nor return. Lesson learned.

My wife and I had the pleasure of a wonderful dining experience at Zocalo before watching a great performance at the nearby Harris Center. Starting with a pleasant greeting in the lobby, we were welcomed by the hostess, staff, and our awesome waitress Joyce T. The newly expanded menu was delightful, each of our plates were truly scrumptious. Joyce ensured everything was perfect, we could not have been more pleased.
