Friendly wait staff good atmosphere great food and drinks
Awesome food and comfortable quick service. Everyone from hr frontbdoor to the bus staff were awesome
A happening, upbeat restaurant with delicious food and terrific service.
Delicious & great service. Everything from the cocktails, guac, and beef barbacoa enchiladas! Everything was amazing! Highly recommend.
Love the service can get a little loud, but too crazy... The food was great!
Queso was cheap and utilized cheap ingredients. The drinks were good. I was really just taken back by how bland and cheap the food was, specifically the queso. Just melted velveta cheese for $9
Food was amazing! They even changed the game for me on the TV!
The tacos, drinks and service were really good. The place is just extremely small, and the bathroom was in shambles
Wonderful personable bartender! Haven’t been there in years....never disappoints!
The food, atmosphere, music and customer service was above the rest.
The food was really great, it's a step classier than the standard Mexican restaurant. The margaritas are phenomenal, and valet parking is complimentary with tip of course. Highly recommend, although it does get a bit on the noisy side later at night
Birthday fun! Great tres leche cake 😊
It was a good outing. The staff was very friendly and we did enjoy our experience.
Food was good. We had a large group and our order wasn’t taken until an hour after we arrived. Our server didn’t write anything down and was frazzled the entire time. Come time for checks, it was a disaster. Food was good, but it was just loud and cramped.
Drinks were overpriced and watered down.
Great deck. Tasty food selection and the frozen Margaritas are amazing. Also pet friendly deck. Great
We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The noise was minimal, but we were there for an early lunch. Service was great, food was very tasty.
Great food. Good happy hour menu. Wonderful service! They have a nice patio area as well.
Unfortunately, I was there at the same time a group of about 20 very loud, drunk, obnoxious young people were there. I couldn’t hear a word that my friend said, and she was sitting across the table from me. The pulled chicken burrito was tasty and the chips and salsa were good too. Drinks are served in little plastic cups like you get at a bar. Service was very good and I appreciated that they had valet service.
WAY too noisy for us. Couldn’t hear ourselves talk Portions were a bit small and service was too slow. Overall, it was an OK restaurant for a neighborhood. What I rush back, probably not.
Great food, great service!
Great carnitas!!! Love the heat in the habanero sauce.
Really enjoyed our Sunday meal. Brunch is good. Full menu is good. Kids menu is good. Cool staff. Nice drinks.
We will definitely be back. Complimentary vallet parking. Great vibe. Good staff. Food was amazing. Margaritas were awesome and strong.
I’ve had a positive experience before but this one unfortunately was not. Took us forever to get a server to ask us for our drink order. Guacamole didn’t come out tableside like it usually does. I ordered a quesadilla, server brought out tacos. Forgot our beers. Put tacos on our tab even though we never asked for them. Hoping it was just an off night but didn’t seem like anyone cared.
Guacamole was fantastic! Made right at the table! Try the frozen sangria margarita swirl. So great on a hot day! Service was quick and very friendly from every single person we came in contact with.
Amazing service! We were a group of 14 and they got everything right. Highly recommend the spot.
So it was my birthday and I was highly upset with the service and the food my rice was hard and my server barely came to the table the drinks were good though when they did arrive one of my guest had to physically walk up to the bar to get a drink because it was taking so long, idk if y’all were under staffed or if people called out but the servers should really check on the tables more and make sure the waters come especially since it was hot outside we waited for 30 minutes for water after being sat. I still may return because the drinks were great but the service it’s self was just awful and the food was awful...
The food and drinks were amazing. I will definitely go again.
Service was outstanding! They have best frozen margaritas.
Ate here with friends before a show in Midtown. The service was very good and friendly and the food was some of the best Mexican Food I have ever tasted! I believe the presentation of the food made it even more tasty! The only thing that could be improved was their cocktails. They came in a small plastic cup and seemed very watered down. But, all in all, we would go back, as it was a fun and relaxed atmosphere and GREAT food!
Food still great... had been quite a while since I was at Zocalo... I remember it having a little more “high end” feel... decor, ambiance, etc... now feeling a bit run-down. But again.. the Tacos al Pastor are amazing!
Love this place!! Portions are huge!! The shrimp enchiladas are to die for and that sauce OMG!! Awesome! The drinks are soo strong!! Love it!
I used to enjoy dining in this place. Ever since new management has taken over it's been terrible. And I mean absolutely terrible. I used to feel like a part of their family here. I knew the staff and they knew me. They were always warm and welcoming. It was truly a place I would visit even if I wasn't hungry or thirsty. I turned several of my friends on to this place as well. The food portions and quality and have gone down. Atmosphere has gone down. Customer service is at all time low. The price of the food has gone up slightly and isn't worth it. Turnover is high as heck. Overall, this place is going downhill as fast as is possible. Every time I go I say "I am going to give it one more shot" but I am near exhaustion with trying. Management has changed at least twice in the last few months. Now there is some older guy in charge who is 100% without a shadow of a doubt going to run this place into the ground. Even the disgruntled staff are no longer excited about coming to work (which I have seen and heard for myself). If something doesn't change, and soon, this place will not make it through the Fall of the year. Period! Losing Mina was the death certificate to this establishment.
This was our 1st time at Zocalo but we had heard great things about it. We were not disappointed. The service and food were great! Even within the brunch menu there was a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The restaurant has a fun, casual vibe that was comfortable for our entire family. Looking forward to going back again soon!
The salsa tastes more like ketchup.... We didn’t get our drinks until our food came out. Environment was super obnoxious drunk people at like 5pm on a weekday. Host was awesome. Waiter didn’t come around much. Tacos were good.
The open air seating was perfect on a nice Spring evening. We were seated right away, and the chips and salsa arrived immediately. Happy hour specials were a great value. Three street tacos for just $8. Red sangria was also good. They have fajitas with lettuce wraps instead of flour tortillas for a gluten free option. Corn tortillas would probably have been easier but my daughter enjoyed them. Service was a little slow but very friendly.
Great food and awesome margaritas! Service was a okay, everyone was friendly just not proactive. Had to ask for napkins and silverware, salsa replenishment and second round of drinks. But, we will definitely be back!
We were a party of 15. I got there early as they were setting up the tables for our reservation. Everyone arrived early in time for happy hour appetizers which ends at 7. We all enjoyed $4 margaritas. My chicken tacos were bland but they have tasty salsa so I put that on it. Everyone had a good time the vibe was good and the weather was perfect for the open air seating. We’ll be back
Excellent food, was a little disappointed that the bottomless brunch was only on Sundays but the food was worth it!
