   3 meals were ordered, Lasagna was all watery around it. Pizza was poorly covered in cheese and when asked for more it got reheated, burnt and still no more cheese and then brought back to me! Spaghetti had next to no sauce and was really really poorly presented. A side of bolognese as brought out for the spaghetti to just put on top

   Booked a table via OpenTable for 4 for Mother's Day. Received an immediate confirmation and a reminder 24 hours before the booked time. All appeared fine until we arrived only to find they had no record of the booking. Would you believe another party arrived at the same time and had exactly the same problem. We both had proof on oor phones and were fortuneatly accommodated despite it being Mother's Day. According to staff this is a common occurrence and was advised to phone in future! Despite complaining to Zizzi head office over a week ago I still await a response. Despite this potential disaster the food was excellent and the staff, especially Ramona were very friendly and accommodating. Wouldn't hesitate to go again but will avoid OpenTable.

   We went for a pre-theatre meal and the venue was perfect. Right in the centre of town and we had a great window seat. Service was excellent and all the staff very attentive. Food was also excellent and everything arrived quickly, piping hot (where necessary) and served with a smile. Great 'softails' too!

   Easy booking through the app. The table was ready on arrival and service was good. Wine glass had lipstick on but was replaced quickly

   Having walked for a couple of hours, we were ready to sit down for an early evening meal much sooner than we'd anticipated. We chanced heading off early to see if we could get in and there was no problem. The meal was a real treat, especially for me. I love risotto and their chicken and mushroom risotto was one of the best I've ever tasted!

   We arrived early to find out that the restaurant had no record of our reservation due to the online bookings being "blocked". I found this to be disappointing. Was then told we should always phone in advance to confirm booking... First time I have ever been told this by using the app. Luckily it wasn't busy so the staff didn't make much of a fuss but had this been later in the evening, we might not have been so lucky. Service was great but feel that food was rushed to arrive and we didn't feel the ambience (maybe because it's a national chain) Order was taken, three course meal was served and eaten within half an hour... Even by McDonald's standards, this is a record!

   The whole experience was poor. To begin with they couldn't find our booking which was embarassing, After we had ordered the waitress returned almist immediately to say they didn't have a whole section on the menu which included the pollo proscuitto I had ordered. This was at 7.30 on a Friday evening! What terrible forward planning!! She then returned to ask if we had ordered the garlic bread bucket which we hadn't. The meals were poorly prsented with little imagination and there was no sign of our side order. the waitress asked if we wanted to see the dessert menus which she then forgot to deliver for fifteen minutes only to forget to return for our order. I never usually write such negative comments but there was little of merit to salvage

    arrived and accused of not making a booking so showed them the reservation on my phone as proof. Whilst I'm sure there was a problem with their booking system we were left hanging. The restaurant was too brightly lit, a cold draft kept coming into the restaurant. we were sat at a table and ignored for 20 mins until we got a girls attention.We ordered our food at the same time as we were worried when the waitress would come again. Food came, my pizza was so dry that I had to put olive oil on it. The wine gave me a headache the whole day the next day and before I left I got a splinter up my finger from woodwork. All in all a pretty poor experience. The food is pretty reasonable but it's not worth coming here for that.
