Italian restaurant chain Zizzi opened the doors of its very first branch in London's Chiswick in 1999. Now there are over 100 branches, all decorated in an appealing contemporary style. Wood-fired ovens, open kitchens and modern interior design with locally influenced art features make for a vibrant atmosphere. As for the food, they serve up a variety of traditional Italian dishes including all the usual suspects: salads, antipasti, pasta, pizza, calzone, risotto as well as fish and meat mains and desserts. What Zizzi really pride themselves on is sourcing good quality ingredients; salads are dressed with white balsamic vinegar from Modena, for example, and offer Goddess Olives, a variety known for their firm flesh and nutty flavour. The modestly priced wine list is dominated by Italian wines, starting at £13.45 for a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. An elderly couple were very disrespectful to my family. I have 3 boys 9yr, 7yr and 2yr. The service was very slow and from taking our order, bringing starter, main meal, dessert menu and at last the bill. The 2yr old was getting restless in between and the elderly lady sat behind our table turned and said for F**K Sake. This was upsetting as I would have thought that the couple would understand that children can get restless. This spoilt the atmosphere and we did not enjoy our time there. The staff did nothing about this. Very disappointed!!!

We were there 1hr 30 before our theatre show but ended up having leave after starters and not have mains as everything took so long.

Amazing staff so friendly. Very accommodating. Very impressed and WOULD recommend. (and I don’t leave reviews very often but this was awesome)

the service was slow, wrong order delivered to table meant we ate separately and food not great, red wine tasted rancid and i was really disappointed in the whole experience
