Our restaurant is set within a beautiful Grade II listed building in the heart of the new development. Our talented team of designers have taken inspiration from the local area - you'll be able to spot design elements eluding to the Forest of Dean and the local farming trade. Young and talented artist, Sean Gee, has made his mark on Zizzi Hereford to create amusing illustrations that depict the mischievous chickens running riot in the farm. Whether it's a spot of lunch after a day of shopping, dinner after a trip to the cinema, a special occasion or a memorable family meal out, Zizzi Hereford is the place to go! Our Italian restaurant serves tasty, authentic dishes from pizza, pasta and risotto to salads and indulgent desserts – all in a uniquely designed restaurant. Well where do I start, we arrived at zizzi for our Valentine’s Day meal with all intentions of it being busy however to have to wait 35 minutes in the cold hallway was not a good start, we finally made it to the front of the queue and was seated. We then had our drinks and meal order taken quickly which was great as by this time we were very hungry, we waited 30 minutes for our starters which were very simple, calamari and wild boar meatballs. In this time another couple had sat on the table near us, they had their starters just after ours. We had our plates cleared and we then had to wait another 40 minutes for our mains to arrive which was ridiculous considering it was a pizza and a calzone and by this time most people were leaving, i was even more angry when the couple next to us got their mains before us having had there starters cleared after ours, their food was very similar pizza and pasta. we finally got our food at 9:30. This was appalling considering our table was booked at 7:30, which was a shame because when the food came it was delicious. I was disappointed with the evening as I was really looking forward to the meal as I had been there before and really enjoyed it! We are getting married in October and wanted this to be a special Valentine’s Day as our last before the big day.この情報は役に立ちましたか？

The staff were very welcoming and we were able to sit down earlier than booked, pretty much wherever we wanted to sit. The service was excellent and were offered drinks straight away. The food was also excellent. We were asked after the main meal whether we wanted to look at the dessert menu and we said yes but no rush. We ordered and had to wait a while for the dessert. The waitress was very apologetic and due to the excessive delay, offered to take the dessert from the bill- this was gratefully received (we had not kicked up a fuss at all but appreciated the gesture none the less).
