   When we arrived assistant said they had no booking for us which I had made online so we had a lovely meal @ pizza xpress!!

   Despite having booked a table a week in advance, they said they hadn’t received the booking and made me feel like that was somehow my error. Whilst they did eventually find us a table, we were very much made to feel like they were doing us a favour and squeezing us in. I would not book there again.

   Family meal on NYE. Staff lovely and allowed us to stay at the table with drinks after our meal, which was unexpected on such a busy evening.

   Service was reasonable & food came fairly quickly and was nice & hot. Better experience than when visited last. Lots of children so noisy. Never a place for a quiet meal.

   Massively overcrowded to the point we couldn't have a conversation without shout at each other. Service was slow and at times non existent, but that is due to the sheer volume of tables. Unnecessary overcrowding. Left as quickly as we could

    Given that this was on the Saturday before Valentines day it was always going to be crowded. We've eaten in this restaurant many times before and it's become a bit of a favourite. Despite being pretty full the service was better than expected and we received all of what we ordered pretty quickly. I'm gluten free so the selections are good - their Beef rib is really good and the chocolate melt is a great desert. All in all a great meal.
