Situated within the heart of the city centre, with many boutiques and other shops close by. Our restaurant is close to the theatre and cathedral making it a perfect place for pre or post performance meals. The restaurant is actually in Chichester's original theatre which you'll see as you walk in, with the dramatic high ceilings and balcony seating area. The restaurant manages to combine modern chic with traditional style. Our open kitchen serves a variety of Italian pastas and pizzas straight from our traditional pizza ovens with an extensive wine list.

Maitra D seemed like he couldn't give two hoots, wasn't interested in our open table reservation, he didn't seem to be tracking them. He put our table of 5 at the back of the restaurant and wasn't helpful when we wanted to move. Despite there being better tables available. We settled with what we were offered as we're hungry (family). Our waiter was better, which balanced the service. Food was good. Delivered hot, service a little slow but not the waiters fault. Seemed understaffed. Kitchen staff (we were next to them) were unprofessional and talking quite loudly about how they would like to date (for want of a better word) one of the waiters sisters. Wouldn't return to this branch. Not up to my previous experience of Zizzi. Had I known I would have ate at Portsmouth. As it ruined our break a little.

Zizzi restaurants are always a reliable and 'safe bet'. I dined at the Chichester branch and found it good on all counts - food, service, price etc. Recommend

We made a reservation while walking to the restaurant. We were almost 20 minutes early and the restaurant hadn't even received the OpenTable reservation yet, but they cleared a table and had us seated in 5 minutes even though they were clearly quite busy. Service was excellent, our waitress was very pleasant and accommodating, and the food was quite good and well worth the price. The ambience was nice although quite loud where we were seated. Overall a very nice dinner.

Really poor experience. No table reserved when we got there - claimed they never received the open table booking. Very cold as draft constantly from opening door. Very slow and in friendly service. Cold plates for food. I won't be going back

Probably the most honest Italian restaurant I've come across in Chichester. Food is really fresh and tasteful, service is swift and friendly. All in all a very pleasant discovery.

The meal was good. We got there at 7 and by 9 we still hadn't had our main course however, we were given a free drink. But the main complaint was I booked a table for 4 through Opentable, they sent a confirmation email straight away and then a reminder the day before our booking and, then, when we got there, they didn't have our reservation! Luckily for us they could accommodate us but I would have been pretty annoyed if they had been too busy to. Next time I will print off the confirmation, but if they were full there wouldn't be much you could do about it! Not impressed with Opentable
