Good to be able to dine i doors again
Zizikis’ is consistently GOOD !
Every time
Thank You Zizikis
Always quality fresh meals. Love their eggplant humus!
We had not been to this location...met friends for dinner and each of had a wonderful meal. I had the grilled salmon dinner and it was cooked perfectly. We will be back!
The food and service are excellent. That's what keeps us coming back.
Loved it. Had the lamb chop's for an appetizer and they were outstanding. Then the chicken/ lemon soup with lamb meatballs and orzo. We scarfed that down as well. Then we split the lamb gyro and it was just right. We will definitely be back the service was outstanding and the mood just right for a birthday dinner!
Our last visit was in October of last year. I am pleased to say the experience was as good as our last visit! Jackie waited on us and did a fantastic job both anticipating when we were ready for more food (the brunch is great!) Or drink refills. When Jackie was helping other clients, the other wait staff (and even the hostess) jumped in to deliver food as soon as it was up. The kitchen is impressive - it never appears overwhelmed, gets food out right and tasty... we couldn't be more pleased with our visit and look forward to another one (and sooner than 4 months😊)!
We made a reservation for 9pm on OpenTable. On the way there, they call us to tell us that their kitchen closes at 9pm. They basically said “sorry for your luck, we don’t have anything to do with how OpenTable let’s you make reservations.” We showed up about 8:45pm and quickly ordered. Probably a bad idea. Service not good. Food definitely not good.
The chicken souvlaki was as good as ever! Love those roasted potatoes, too!!
The food was not as good as it used to be. I regularly order the lamb souvlaki and the lamb was tough and the potatoes weren't cooked properly. Previously the potatoes were smaller in size and extra crispy. Very disappointed in the food and probably won't be back any time soon.
Disappointing compared to normal. Ziziki sauce was super watery and lacking flavor - potatoes and chicken were undercooked. Service was average and the heater on the patio wasn't effective at keeping us remotely warm.
The lights were too bright and they did not know how to dim them,
Staff and food was great. Social distancing was appropriate and seating of customers exceeded social distancing requirements so felt very safe.
Not many people in restaurant. Had a but if problem getting service person’s attention to order an appetizer. Took heralmost ten minutes till she came back after getting our beverages
Great service, fantastic food!
The food was great as always, but we were supposed to be celebrating a birthday and we reminded the hostess on the way in and she said she would make sure to take care of making it special and they did nothing and charged us for the dessert which we expected to have a candle and say happy birthday...
Great social distancing. Server was very careful
I am so thankful for Ziziki’s adherence to social distancing guidelines during covid. They are wonderful about not having parties too close to each other. All the staff is great on the mask wearing. As someone who really tries to avoid going to places with crowds, Zizikis is top on my list. We’ve been coming here for close to 20 years and it has never failed! Thank you for awesome food, service and safety! If you weren’t a 30+ minute drive away I’d be going there more. Thank you!!!
We just love their pita bread with Ziziki sauce. The "lemon" soup is always delicious. Then, it was Tiramisu for dessert. Just wonderful. This is our usual dinner. Do not have room for more, but we have eaten other items. All good.
Excellent evening at this restaurant. Food was delicious, especially the baklava ice cream cake. Would definitely recommend!
Enjoyed dining out on the outdoor patio with my wife and daughter and her husband the other evening. The food was very good, the service was adequate but slow on occasion, and the outdoor atmosphere was pleasing. We will return soon.
Very good service. Good lamb burger. Lamb gyro tough and chewy. Roasted potatoes were burned. Pricey for what we got. Patio appeared to have no social distancing. Will be a while before we return
Good food and service
great food and service.
very safe environment for dinner.
Very nice dinner on the patio! Kind and attentive service. I was impressed, having had a less enjoyable experience a couple of years ago. Big improvement!
Our experience was very pleasant. The lamb was under cooked and the Kitchen responded perfectly. They cooked a new portion to the correct temperature. I was very impressed with this approach. Outstanding. Our waiter was professional and thoughtful. I would highly recommend this location to anyone wishing a lovely lunch or dinner experience.
Celebrated a birthday on the patio and was very pleased with the experience. The patio was surprisingly peaceful (near Forest Lane during rush hour) adding to our enjoyment of the food and wine. Food is always delicious there.
Excellent food and warm, friendly service. They brought out a lovely ice cream cake with a sparkler when my mother told the server that it was my birthday. It was a very nice touch, which along with the stellar food and wine, makes it a top spot.
The brunch was outstanding! No rush, excellent small plates, great wait staff (attentive and prompt)- trying to figure out another reason to be in Dallas next!
Always good!
The food here was merely average. The ample pastichio was. okay, but could have used more tomato sauce. Ziziki salad was likewise routine. Baklava ice cream cake was tasty and generous, though the baklava part was a little dry. Service was cordial though not always attentive. Willing to try out one more but this won’t be on my regular list.
We all had different lamb dishes - excellent - service was attentive and friendly- we dined outdoors and were lucky to get a table away from everyone- the patio seemed a little more crowded than we would be covid comfortable with
We were looking on Open Table for outdoor dining options near home and came across Ziziki’s which sparked a memory of a patio carved out of a parking lot. Or so it seemed from the view from outside the restaurant. But being restless to try somewhere new we took a chance and booked a table outdoors. Fortunately we were assigned a table on the original patio and not one of several literally set up in adjacent parking spaces! But people dining out there didn’t seem to mind.
Anyway, our server Sara did an excellent job in tending to our needs. The food, Grecian Chicken, that I ordered and Ziziki’s salad with grilled shrimp that my wife ordered was very good and we settled on a nice red blend bottle of wine to accompany our meal.
Other than an occasional loud noise from a truck on Forest Lane, the evening was very pleasant and we will return very soon indeed!
Our guest that ordered the lamb shank said it was so tough and was shocked as always b4 it was very tender and great. We frequent this place often and love to dine there
As always the food was amazing. I have been eating at Ziziki’s for almost 20 years. It is always good and probably my favorite restaurant in Dallas!!
Great Greek experience. So sad that Covid has shut down the buffet, but restaurant did a good job doing it ala carte.
The food is consistently delicious! Nice happy hour specials, too.
The food was great and the service was fantastic.
Delicious food and great service. We ate outside on the sidewalk so the view of the parking lot impacted the ambiance but that was our choice. Look forward to going back soon.
It was a lovely evening to sit outside on their covered patio. Don’t know about the inside, but the patio was nice and quiet. Service was a little confused and slow at first.
Terrific meal, had the paella and was absolutely delicious, every bite was cooked perfectly and nicely seasoned.
