Great food and service - even on Valentine’s Day! Always good and excellent waitress!
Tables were very close. They could have separated the parties and not stuck everyone right together!
i was in from The Woodlands, TX and wanted to meet with friends and it could not have been more perfect! Thank you for making dinner WONDERFUL!
Great neighborhood place for drinks and dinner, delicious food and cocktails and excellent service!
Good food and mostly good service. When less than perfect service they apologize and comped an appetizer without even asking anything.
Food was very good, seating is a bit tight ( especially if at a table for 2 ) so not much of a place to take a date.
We were a party of 4 on a Saturday night. Arrived at 6:30 and were seated promptly. It was a busy
night. Large party in adjoining room. All of the tables were placed very close to each other. Noise level extremely loud, We found ourselves almost having to yell to converse. Others in my party seemed to like their food. I didn't (Greek platter). Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Service was OK. Nothing special. I don't think I will go back.
I hadn't been to Ziziki's in a long time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll be back again soon!
Had a party of six- booked through Open Table. Mentioned online it was a birthday. Our party was seated immediately, attentive friendly waitress, food was very good. Wine selection is a little pricy but we enjoyed 2 bottles of Old Vine zin and were happy with the selection. A slice of cake & candle were brought to our table discretely for all to enjoy. Very very nice evening with friends. Thanks, Zizikis!
Staff is always welcoming and friendly. Same people have been there for as long as I can remember. I wonder if it's a family business. Quiet. good for conversations. Food is delicious and service is excellent. Highly recommend the sushi tower, lamb meatballs, calamari and cheese board. Delish! And they have a wine flight too which is fun for tasting. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Family birthday dinner
The food was barely mediocre, at best. The portions were skimpy and the roasted potatoes were burned. The salads were swimming in dressing. The waitress was nice but left the dirty dishes on our table far too long. The night was not busy at all, so we should have had better food. Our experience in October at the Plano store was far superior. The price was so expensive compared to the quality. I recommend closing this one down and focusing on the Plano and Travis sites less they too suffer from the horrible reputation this one will surely cause.
We go there often, and especially like the lamb salad.
Delicious food. Excellent service. Perfect place for a date or a night out with friends.
Great place but tables are a little too close together.
great place, food and service, one of my family's favorite!
Generally this restaurant is very good. We ate there for a Sunday lunch. The chef didn’t prepare one meal correctly and it had to be redone. When our food finally came out, quite a bit of it was cold and had to be sent back.
We've been going to Ziziki's off and on for years, both this location and the Travis Walk location. This location works because it's relatively close to our home and relatively convenient for some of our Dallas friends. And on this particular occasion we again ate with friends. The food remains good: no one in our party had any complaints. But we all agreed, the Ziziki's of five years ago was noticeably better. One of us had a cocktail and it was better than average. But otherwise our experience was mediocre at best -- mediocre enough to make all of us wonder aloud (when we left the restaurant) if we'd ever go back. The service was at best fair -- our wait staff seemed to take a dislike to our party when we didn't order appetizers and weren't instantaneously ready with our order. But we were at Ziziki's precisely because we wanted a neighborhood restaurant where flipping the table wasn't the first priority (and we wanted to have more than 40 minutes to catch up with friends). Our reservation was at 7:00 PM. By 8:00, the restaurant was clearing out and by 8:30, on a Friday, we were one of just a handful of occupied tables and wait staff were busily prepping the restaurant for the next day. All in all, then, poor service and poor ambiance more than offset whatever remaining quality the food retains.
Food was amazing! Service was a bit absent. I’d still go back!
Only complaint is it was our anniversary and the hostess sat us at a tiny table near the bar and tv. Had hoped for something more but the food was excellent and our waiter was really nice! Can't stress how great the food was!
Great food, atmosphere, service, and overall experience.
great lunch !
The food service was slow and we were on a time crunch so that was our only issue. Got there at 5:45 and main meal didn’t arrive til 6:45 so we only had 15 min to eat, pay bill and leave.
Had we not had to be somewhere it wouldn’t have been and issue
Great! Delicious! Quaint!
Lamb souvlaki was so tough I couldn’t cut some pieces. Potatoes were burned. Not the Zizikis I have loved for years. Only one waiter for our side of patio so I couldn’t tell him until later in the meal.
Birthday lunch - love this place.
Ziziki's is a staple regarding restaurants that are a great value, good food and always reliable.
Comfortable restaurant with good food where people can still hear each other in conversation.
Half price bottles of Wine Monday and Tuesday.
This is a lovely neighborhood restaurant. The staff is always friendly and upbeat and very attentive. The food is always outstanding.
Our server Sara always talks great care of us with the utmost professionalism and enthusiasm
The lamb burger is the best in Texas, recommend it medium rare!
In a busy neighborhood on a friday night, this was a comfortable and attractive spot. The noise level was very good for carrying on conversation at our table of four. The wine by the glass seemed a bit pricey, but the handmade cocktails were very good. The food was tasty and the only complaint was that my husband's lamb gyro meat was a bit chewy. Our waitress was excellent and had a very pleasant manner. We will go back again.
Always delicious food. The service is excellent. The salmon filet, lamb lollipops, ziziki salad, salmon souvlaki are my favorites. Love the wine selections. I always want the baklava ice cream honey dessert.
Service was TERRIBLE this visit... chicken was super greasy and the Zizikis sauce was the consistency of water. The dip trio was the only good thing we ordered.
Great food and wine at a reasonable price & great service. It is always a pleasant dining experience.
My friends birthday but nothing was done for her???
My husband and I have dined at Ziziki's several times for special occasions. We recently realized that they offer a Sunday Brunch and thought we would try it. Their selection was lovely and the 10¢ mimosas were bonus. We will be going again.
Love this place and typically go for birthday celebrations
Excellent service from Dave for drinks and dinner at the bar-thank you!
Food was great...as always
Zizikis has outstanding food as well reasonable food and wine prices. The wait staff is well versed on all aspects of their menu. I have never had a dish that I didn’t like there but I am particularly partial to the lamb and selections!! Absolutely one of my favorite places in Dallas.
The lamb and chicken were both tough . The potatoes which are normally excellent were over done. Noise level was such that any conversation was impossible.
