   It’s hard to find the restaurant. The entrance is in a courtyard and there is no street signage. Leave yourself a bit more time to locate it for that reason. Once there, it’s well worth coming. The restaurant has minimalist decor and is dark. The menu changes frequently. Our server named Carlos was great. Very personable, good sense of humor and knowledgeable about the food. The food was exceptional and portions were a good size. My wife and I shared most of our selection. Wine list was small but with a good selection and reasonable prices. We highly recommend Zitz Sum and will be back.

   Honestly I was not that impressed. I’m used to fine dining so idk what I was expecting but not that experience lol. Substitutions couldn’t be made which is odd to me unless everything is premade…. I’ve been to plenty of tastings, some much more expensive, some not, regardless, something would be “doubled” to replace what I did not care to taste or an ingredient could be added/left out… but not here lol. Weird. Makes me think things were premade and that’s just unacceptable for a fine dining experience. They were also out of two bottles I preferred so I had to get my last choice…. The waiter was nice and as accommodating as could be. Charged phones. Was attentive. Overall I would not return.

   Every course was a flavor bomb — bold, inventive, and straight-up delicious. Dumplings? Insane. Intimate vibe, top-tier service, and unforgettable food. An elevated, mind-blowing experience from start to finish.

   The restaurant is tucked away and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Now the food! Wow, their spring menu is fantastic and full of flavors!! We were tempted by the tasting menu but decided to order a la cart since it was just two of us. A must order: Crudo and Wontons!!! The flavors are unique but so amazing!!!! We also dove into ordering their cocktails!! All of them were one of a kind and bursts of flavor and refreshing!! This restaurant is a must try and we will be back to try new menu additions!

   A must try! The scallops crudo, bread and trout were spectacular. Can’t wait to go back!
