Zinqué - DTLA
chimichurri or peppercorn sauce

Excellent dinner in downtown LA. Really enjoyed our thanksgiving evening.
Wasn’t sure who are actual server ever was. We had great service at first then as it got a little busier felt like we were forgotten about . Our main courses didn’t come out at same time. Had to flag down to order dessert then it took a really long time had to flag down again to ask for check them out dessert was brought with the check .
Overall great food but felt a little slighted once the bigger parties arrived.
Great food, great service, great vibe, great evening! I can't wait to go back.
DTLA location. The restaurant hits all the negatives: ambience, service, food, location, parking, bare table/hard chairs, noisy, bad 'music' and cheap/flimsy paper napkins.
I called the restaurant the day before and they said they did not offer valet parking but there were lots on either side at $8 flat fee. Turns out that is the day rate; after 4:00 PM it is an outrageous $20.
Mediocre flatbreads, pate and steak. Branzino is good but arrives whole [with the head], no implements and no waiter to debone it. Inexcusable!
$30 corkage which is high for the quality of the food.
We have eaten at several Zinque locations and this was the best. Good location on Broadway and the vibe is great.
Our waitress was super busy, but super sweet and helpful. Food was delicious.
The staff service was marginal. Food was delicious, the wine was nice. A 20% tip was added to my check without my knowledge but was pointed out, we were a party of two.
Super cute place with amazing food! A great mix of healthy and delicious veggies and French meals. Also, their signature cocktails are to die for.
A hip dining spot. Cold indoor interior, especially in winter. Sterile without any fabric textiles, no cloth napkins, tablecloths, rugs nothing to warm up room but few upholstered chairs- industrial decor- cold and loud and dimly lit. Nice menu options, food was good, presentation nice. But cold shortly after served, and cold climate inside didn’t help. Service was great! Personnel wonderful. Good for hipster/college/20’s -30’s age group.
everything was...okay. not terrible, not great. just okay.
Definitely felt short staffed but the bussers were kind enough to flag down our server and relay what we wanted to order next.
The Leek Quiche was amazing and a much larger portion than I was expecting. Great price for what u get! Great ambiance. You can hear each other when u talk which was nice.
The Food was ver average we had the steak and fries and there was seven pre cut bites of steak on the plate the rest fries. Brownie was not good either
Food was delicious and portions were largest than I expected. Nice variety on the menu.
This place is worth a try. The atmosphere is lovely and the service great. The food is just so so.
Great service, great experience, great cocktails, great atmosphere, great time.
Zinque has really good French bistro food without the expensive price tag. This is a wonderful neighborhood bistro perfect as a regular hangout, for parties, al fresco dining and for special occasions. We sat outside and had some unwelcome attention and behavior from a colorful character and security took good and immediate care of us. Steak Frites cooked to perfection!
We ate outside. It is noisy but in a NYC you can easily ignore it kind of way. Food was fabulous for all 4 of us. Service was slow and you had to ask for things that they should have been on top of. But would definitely go again.
Not really “French Bistro”.
Food wasn’t that good service was just okay and price was very high for mediocre food. Whole time I was wishing I had went to Le Petit Paris instead
The Tuna Tartare as an appetizer was fantastic and the Lasagna as my main was amazing. My friend had the Branzino and said it was delicious. Enjoy!!!!
Went for dinner before the Pat Metheney concert next door. Service was attentive, food came quickly and was delicious.
The waitress I had seemed like she didnt want to be at work. She barely spoke or came to check on the table.
Love this place. The food and wine is excellent and the staff very helpful. Great for business or social events.
Opted to sit at the bar, and everything was perfect.
Two great bartenders who were super on top of it. One minor thing was the soda machine was not working but they were able to make alternative drinks.
Had a great meal before the basketball game! Brussel Sprouts, Mushroom Flat Bread, Deviled Eggs and more!
The food was so good. Came back a few times in the same week. Service was great as well.
We sat on their patio, which was nice and quiet. Loved everything we ordered - tuna tartare, mussels, and steak frites. Service was great. Would love to go back and check out their brunch.
It’s my to go .. I love the lebowl chicken salad or Shrimp bowls it’s satisfies my hunger yet light. Great place to connect with friends for breakfast lunch or dinner.
Excellent food. Loved the quiches. Great service
Our waitress was great, really sweet and attentive! Food was good and their spicy tequila drink is very spicy!!
One thing we didn’t like is a woman had her dog with her at the bar and let him off his leash several times. The dog was allowed to come to our table for a while and we had to ask the owner to get him. He was a huge bull dog…
The homeless is a problem. A homeless person literally walked into the be outdoor dining area up to tables next to us asking for money. HUGE TURN OFF!
The drinks were delicious but the food was mediocre (except for the fries which were excellent), and the service wasn't great either. We got a bunch of veggie and sharing and plates for the table, including the flatbread. Maybe the mains are better...but I'm in no hurry to return.
My waitress, a blonde Asian woman, recommended a number of dishes.
I asked her if that was too much food for just two people, and she said she didn’t think so. I have a good appetite, but we had enough food for four people. She was absent for most of the meal, but when she brought the check she had a mobile payment tablet where she added 20% as a tip, before I could even do anything. I was on a first date so I didn’t want to look cheap so I went along with it. I felt like I had my pocket picked. The restaurant owners don’t seem to care, as I’ve seen a number of bad reviews based on waiters who are grifters or downright rude, and a manager who was literally forcing people to leave their tables at closing time just because he wanted to go home. What a dump!
Loved the food and the portions were very generous for the price and quality. Great drinks and service and the cheese board and burrito plate were both phenomenal.
First and last experience at Zinque DTLA. Service was truly poor. Felt like we were doing them a disservice by coming in to be honest. Both waitresses had chips on their shoulders and did little to nothing to make us feel welcome or provide any kind of experience at all. Food was mediocre at best. Pretty disappointing as I had high hopes for this place.
Great food and service and good atmosphere. Would highly recommend
Love the place, food, and service. Was really warm inside though so that was uncomfortable.
The food was good. I had the lasagna. Service was okay. I wasn’t a fan of where I was seated although I had made a reservation. But I’d definitely come dine again.
Blandest unseasoned chicken I have ever had.
