This was our second time dining at Zinque. We love the food/cocktails and the service was excellent once again. Writing to say we made reservations and were seated in the back at a tiny uncomfortable table (my partner is 6'5") backed up to 5-6 discarded chairs and barstools with signs on them that say "Dominic, please fix this broken chair" on each of them. It was pretty uncomfortable and closed off to the rest of the restaurant. We still had a wonderful dinner because our server was warm and good at what he does. Writing this in hopes the restaurant remedies this issue. This deters me from returning, but the food and service is excellent.

Zinque DTLA is a great spot for grabbing food and drinks before a show! I had been to the Venice location just for a glass of wine before, and was so impressed with the food here. Everything was delicious, especially the vegetarian lasagna and the potatoes gratin dauphinois. Great service and a cool space.

The food was amazing. The services was great. Great location! Parking is just outside the door and a concert venue (The Theatre at Ace Hotel) is just next door. Great place for dinner and a show!

We were seated in a section that was a little too loud for my teen. The gracious hosts found a table outside that was much better. Our main server was wonderful. And the staff that brought out our drinks, dinner, and dessert were awesome. Highly recommend.

Excellent food, well prepared and presented. The menu is more eclectic that you’d think given the French name. The fried artichokes were great, as was the tuna tartine. Fast friendly service, good drinks and a decent wine list. Recommend.

Seated promptly for reservation, service quick and efficient, food delivered promptly as ordered, hot and fresh, attentive follow-up service. Needed to be out for an early curtain, and server readily obliged. Street seating less than ideal--not clean and several homeless folks panhandled in the course of an hour meal, while an armed guard stood by in case of real trouble. I'd probably eat inside next time.

We are repeat customers. Zinque has an excellent menu with good variety. Service was great, and there was always someone ready to take away finished plates. Suggest sitting outside if you want a quieter ambience.

Great food and great service. They were able to accommodate my being dairy and gluten allergy. They had a gluten free bread as an option. Be aware the water costs, however your option to just get filtered tap is a scary one in L.A.! Great location if attending a show at the ACE or Orpheum theaters. The only downside was the music was quite loud, but then any people like that, just not great for conversation. Restaurant is right on Broadway with some seating on the sidewalk, but they have security there and inside was awesome! Clean bathrooms, attentive staff I would definitely go back if in the area.

This is one fun spot! Lively, creative and delicious! We had the charcuterie board not on the menu, chef’s choice, it was fantastic! My daughter is gluten free, so Stella have her gluten free bread. My daughter said it was the best she’s ever had! Our server Stella is the best server we have had since COVID. Our dinners (salmon, steak frites, and coq au vain, we’re delicious, large portions! Great indoor/outdoor feel, it was a little warm inside, but the breeze and cool cocktails kept us comfortable and happy! Great job, we will be back when in LA (which is often!)

100% Recommend! Ambiance was vibrant, modern, upscale. Our server Stella was outstanding and offered amazing cocktail recs. Craft cocktails were delicious and the food was excellent. I ordered Steak Frites and my husband had Salmon. Both were fantastic, but the Salmon was mouthwatering. Located right next door to The Ace Hotel Theatre, so location can't be beat.

I have been to this place twice. It was so unmemorable the first time that when I made the second reservation I did not even remember having been there previously. Once I arrived, and realized I had been there before, I knew not to order the same thing I got the previous time. The food was not great either time. The service is slightly better than the food.

We loved our food, we had drinks, three appetizers, one entree, one tartini plate and dessert. We really liked all of the food, the shrimp appetizer was outstanding, perfectly cooked shrimp. The bread, burrata and prosciutto, amazing. The drinks just perfect. Our problem was with the seating and the space. We were sat on these couch-chairs that were too low for our table and very uncomfortable. You can't eat too much when you're sitting like that. Blows my mind that nothing has been done to change that. Cushions help for 10 minutes then just make back pain worse. The table ends up being too high to eat comfortably. The second problem was no A/C, I was sweating like crazy and feeling so claustrophobic seated in the back with no air circulation. A fan would've been the least I expected for a $200 bill for two people. Lastly, I really wanted my little table candle to be on, but it never was (insert complaining emoji here). I'd go back but only if I'm seated outside

Sat down and waited way too long before a waiter came to our table even though the place was practically empty. Had brunch, which was meh. My husband's egg sandwich was not cooked the way he requested (it was fried instead of scrambled) and the whole dish wasn't particularly good. My crispy egg dish was ok but both nothing to write home about. Lots of room for improvement here, folks.

Terrible service - there were only 3 other couples in the place. I had a reservation and they seated us - they kept looking at us but nobody would come yo take our order or even ask if we wanted a drink. One of the waitresses came to a table near us and started setting it without asking us if anyone had helped us - after about 30 minutes we decided to leave - when we told the receptionist she just said Ok - very strange experience .
