The Chicken Parmesan was fantastic! So well executed it was that I was sad when I finished the entire serving. The housemade spaghetti pasta was perfect in texture, and cooked perfectly al dente. Then there was the Marinara…bright taste, bright tomato red colour, not too tart, not too sweet. We sopped up the remaining sauce with the delicious bread. If I lived here, this would be my go-to Italian restaurant for the perfect Chicken Parm.

Our server, Julia, was spectacular. She made our dining experience the best.

I have been to Zinicola pre-Covid and thought it was very good.
Return there for the first time since Covid and was extremely disappointed. We started with Arancini and Caesar salad which were OK. But then came the next course a margarita pizza which was barely cooked and not very good. The scallop appetizer was just awful. Two scallops barely the size of a quarter over cooked and fishy smelling for $16! If the waitress had ever come back to the table to ask us how our food was we would’ve been more than happy to tell her but never saw her again until she brought us the check.

Not sure I’d go back. Very disappointed.

The service and atmosphere were great. I really feel for any restaurant staff these days. We tipped 30% just because we appreciate anyone that shows up for work right now. The Caesar salad was wonderful. My teen daughter didn’t leave a leaf on her plate. The carbonara was extremely salty though. I tried to pour in some of my drinking water to dilute it, but it was just too much salt. My husband only ate about 1/3 of his veal. We didn’t say anything to the waitress though because we didn’t want her to feel pressure to remove anything from the bill. Like I said, we just appreciated she was there. Hopefully, this was just a one off. We’ll probably try it again on another day.

Our meal was unexceptional. The halibut was a little dry, the sauce was bland.Our server kept reaching in front of my face to serve across the table. The cocktails seemed reasonably priced but turned out to be small pours.

Good all the way around. Pizza is excellent. Prices were reasonable. Service was excellent. Ambiance was very modern/cool. Solid all the way around.

Our server was attentive, the grilled half chicken didn’t come with legs, but it was delicious. The restaurant has sever choices for ppl with food allergies and my daughter who is allergic to eggs was able to enjoy desert.

Both couples ordered the special appetizer, scallops with crispy pork belly and sage butter with asparagus. The pork belly was not crisp but burned. The sage butter was four miniscule drops at the corners of the plate. The mains were good. The fettuccine carbonara and bucatini with clams were both excellent although both plates of carbonara contained sizable portions of inedible onion skin and no shell bowl was provided for the clam shells. The veal Milanese was very good. Although we requested no accommodation be made for the onion skins, the restaurant removed the cost of one carbonara. We did not have dessert. It appears the restaurant is still struggling a little in the aftermath of COVID-19 to get appropriate levels of staffing and expertise.

What a wonderful, quiet date night experience. Our server was very kind and attentive. We drank a lot of water, and our glasses were never empty. The food was excellent. Will definitely be coming back! 👍🏻

My wine glass had a chip in it. The waiter accidentally splashed broth on my husbands clothes when clearing our plates. The food was average and very small portions this was our second not so great experience there.

we celebrated our 54th wedding anniversary here. It is a very nice restaurant and some very unique bar seating. They had a problem with the co2 and there were no draft beers. The menu is eclectic and interesting. We started with the roasted octopus with beets and it was very good, usually like octopus grilled. My wife had the red snapper with shrimp instead of clams and she liked it very much. I had the halibut with tomatoes, pickled mushrooms in a broth, have never had it this way before but fish cooked perfectly and the flavors interesting, I love mushrooms but not pickled I found out. We would like to try again, it looked like they had some very delicious pizza and pastas.

Just a casual, early Wednesday evening dinner while I’m in town visiting my parents. Jamal was our server and was awesome — he was very funny and had great entree recommendations, which we followed and were very pleased.

This was our first visit and the food and service were both excellent. We will definitely be coming back.

This was our first visit but definitely not our last. Our server was Noir & he was excellent! Described the delicious menu with us & we were able to make our choices. I had the eggplant lasagna & ate every morsel. It was so good. My girlfriend had the chicken parmigiana & said it was delicious. Our husbands both had the bolegnaise & really liked it. We also enjoyed the fresh calamari to start. Everything was fresh & delicious. Finally we have found our Italian restaurant. Loved everything about Zinicola. Plan on trying out the bar next time as it looked very inviting. Great restaurant with excellent service & food. Win Win

Given the reviews I was expecting more but was disappointed. Nothing wrong with the service or ambiance or food, it just didn’t wow me. So for that it gets a ‘good’ rating, not ‘great’

Amazing service and excellent food.

It was our first time here and we were impressed. I wish we had known about this place sooner. From the staff up front, to our waiter, and everyone we encountered, the experience was amazing. The food was all delicious and they even made me a delicious mocktail since I'm pregnant. We will absolutely be back!

Went for our daughter’s graduation and food was outstanding. Highly recommend the mussels and the meatballs.

The food is consistently good. Pastas are house made and delicious. The mussels are one of our favorites. If they have the short rib ravioli, get it!

Pleasant but bland. Service was a bit uneven - had to ask twice for bread, water refill in a not busy house. Bread needs work! A little crust and flavor is in order. Sauces need herbs, garlic, wine- ooomph. “Rack of Lamb” was not but was lamb rib chops, nicely done but not as advertised. The Seafood Rigatoni had lovely crab etc but the tomato sauce lacked flavor- a thin tomato watery base.

Octopus is fantastic, we also had a very good pizza but the Octopusis the best i have ever had

Service was courteous and efficient, knowledgeable about menu. We ordered a pizza and chicken parm - tasted great, good temperature, timely service. Enjoyed our quiet date night.
