Today, helmed by Executive Chef Victor Cedillo, it remains one of San Francisco’s hidden gems in Union Square. Our eclectic menu draws inspiration from stories in Italy experienced by our skilled and professional staff. Indulge in Italian tapas, fresh handmade pasta, raw bar, steak, seafood and roasted meats. Improvisation and joy are the cornerstones of Tony’s style. He studied classical Cuban piano at the Ignacio Cervantes conservatory in Habana, Cuba. Afterward, tony turned to study the rhythms of jazz. For over a decade, tony has developed a jazz performance rich with influence of traditional Cuban rhythms. In order to dine in with live music, a non-refundable ticket per person will apply for Strengthening the Arts. In case of cancellation or no-show, the fee will not be refunded. I eat at this restaurant every time I visit San Francisco, which is at least once a year and most times twice a year. The food is always delicious, the restaurant personnel are friendly and the music is fabulous!

There was only one steak option, so it shouldn’t be listed as a “steakhouse”. It was tender!and flavorful. Service was attentive and friendly. The gnocchi wasn’t anything special, but the fettuccine was delicious and fresh! It was convenient since we are staying in the hotel. We wouldn’t come back based on our meal though.

The lamb chops were so delicious! Gnocchi as well as rosemary bread were a great accompaniment. The service was excellent!

Everything was well done. They took care of my group, the drinks were wonderful, the appetizers were all delicious and everyone enjoyed their dinner! Great neighborhood feeling restaurant right off Union square.

The quiet night on the taxes day. I think they only have one server so the service is a little slow. The food was great. The service charge is included 20% even it only for 3 people.

Our group of 4 had small plates in the bar while listening to piano jazz. We had excellent service and enjoyed conversation with our waiter who was very personable. The tapas dishes were very interesting. Our favorite was crispy polenta with shrimp in a delightful sauce. Desserts were full of rich chocolate and tiramisu original. If you are staying in the area if union square, we recommend this restaurant.

We totally enjoyed our food from the appetizer to the main to the dessert - all were delicious and top shelf. Jazz music was provided by Jerome on the piano and Bill on the base. They both sang as well! It was a super nice evening. We enjoyed every little bit. We're looking forward to returning.
