Zinc Wine Bar & Bistro
A wonderful Valentine’s Day Dinner - good food and a warm evening
We are visiting Albuquerque on business and ate at Zinc upon the recommendation of a local colleague. Zinc was a wonderful surprise! Food was outstanding and reasonably priced. Ambiance was the right blend of sophistication and casual. Next time we are back in Albuquerque, we will make sure we return.
It’s my favorite restaurant in the NOB Hill area. Consistently 5 stars in all aspects in this diners culinary opinion!
Love the pre fixe menu! Food and service were excellent! It is a little loud, but tolerable.
A vary delightful experiance! And definetly try the duck eggrolls!
I haven’t been to Zinc in years and was delighted. I love their small plates. Just the right amount of food so that I’d have room for dessert which was delicious. The server was great too. I will definitely be back again
Sat at the bar on a Tuesday evening. Brian was a fantastic bar tender...enjoyed a nice Sazerac, 3-course meal and shared a nice bottle of wine. Decor was very nice, warm and inviting. Service was top-notch. Will definitely return, the next time I visit ABQ
Very good value and food. Groovy hip feeling
Great food and service, wonderful atmosphere. They handled our large party with no issues
Service was outstanding...Food delicious and plentiful...don’t miss the appetizers!
The ladies at the front were very sweet and very polite. The servers were also very nice and attentive. Highly recommend this place for a intimate date. Didn't give 5 stars because gluten free desserts were somewhat limited :(
This is our go to restaurant to visit on our way to Phoenix. Other than that the lamb was not as good as we have had there before we still had a great evening and would recommend this restaurant.
We loved it! New menu. We had four appetizers and three entrees and everything was delicious.
They seated us right away, service was was great, we didn’t have to wait for our drinks and the food was out guickly. The waiter was very good in that he made sure we had everything we wanted, but he also didn’t hover over us. We were out in plenty of time to make our show at Popejoy Hall!
My girlfriend and I went on her birthday. They made the experience extremely pleasant and the food was delicious. They gave us complimentary truffles at the end of the dining. I will definitely be going back. Spent about 80 with food and and a few drinks, excluding tip.
Zinc is excellent. Creative food with great flavor.
Good Food Good service. Best place in house is at the kitchen bar. Upstairs popular net work place for meet and greet. Come late or early for a romantic dinner (in the kitchen).
Zinc is one of Albq's better restaurant and the vibe and wine is very good. On the negative, the beef (for the price) was not as tasty as, say, a Texas Roadhouse. Overall we had a very nice (birthday) experience but for the price I'm not sure I will be back anytime soon. The service was very good and friendly, however, I deduct one star because our waitress was often inattentive due to the fact that she was also running the bar.
Zinc was recommended to me and I invited guests. The brunch was very disappointing , I ordered seared Ahi Tuni with tempura vegetables, avocado and greens., with a special sauce. One of my guests did also. The tuna was served ice cold, drizzled with some sauce, and a dollop of Dijon mustard. The green garnish was bare and there was no avocado...The tempura was a clump and the oil that fried it was old. Such a poor pairing of cold tuna, with hot veggies, and poorly done. Not matching the menu description either. You can do better. I'll come back to see.
Consistently good food presented with professional and friendly service make Zinc Wine Bar & Bistro one of my first choices in the Albuquerque area.
Great brunch, very nice Bloody Mary.
The food was tasty, as always.
A perfect place for a “fancy” dinner with the family to celebrate a birthday! (Tween aged kiddo did fine - ate everything! Good Pokémon stop.)
A perfect date night! We were seated upstairs and enjoyed the 3 course meal for two...
Great ambiance for conversation, the entrees were delicious, the goat cheese appetizer, especially impressed, and the wine (he had the Rose, she the Malbec) was perfect!
A great evening!
Neat to watch the Chefs from the second level above the open kitchen.
Recommend the three course tasting menu.
Food was all very tasty and the service was attentive.
Would return when back in ABQ.
Consistently great service and food quality. I often dine here for business.
Great food. Approachable for my parents while also very tasty.
I was visiting Albuquerque and had an early dinner at Zinc. My waitress was terrific, helpful, friendly, the food was awesome: I had the lamb and a potato dish to die for. This was served with some fresh chard and crispy onions. I had a nice glass of Zinfandel. The ambience is lovely, very warm and inviting. I am now planning my trips so that I can visit Zinc whenever I pass through Albuquerque.
Always an enjoyable experience. Fine cocktails, nice wine list, excellent food. Service is attentive yet unobtrusive.
We were theire on New Year's eve, so the service was slower and not as personal as usual. Also, my Martini was a little skimpy and not up to their usual standards.
The evening was enjoyable, however, and we will be back. The duck breast was outstanding!
Wonderful new year's eve dinner and drinks with a group of 12. Service was outstanding!!
We enjoyed every tasty morsel of our Sunday lunch....and the ambiance and music...a great “coming together” place.
Excellent food with a wonderful ambiance and service.
Ambiance upscale trendy. Great service. Very professional and friendly.
Wonderful service, nice atmosphere. The food was an afterthought. Too much about it was uninspiring to going to any great detail. The desserts were a mess, chocolates were about a month old and out of the box. Not a great time.
Always great food and a pleasant atmosphere
Very well delivered food. The service is excellent.
Excellent dinner - large portions and well prepared. Greatvplace prior to Popejoy.
We had another fabulous meal at Zinc. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and this was our go to restaurant for a special meal. The food was wonderful and our waiter Brian made it a delightful dining experience. It is definitely worth the drive from Santa Fe.
Two brothers in Albuquerque own a trio of established, well-known restaurants: Seasons, Zinc, and Savoy. Zinc is my favorite by a country mile: the food is better and the menu far more creative; the mood is very NYC bar/restaurant; their set price dinner is a bargain for really nice food. By contrast Seasons is often so noisy that hearing your dinner guests is impossible and the food at Savoy is inconsistent in quality. So, I travel across town to go to Zinc. While I have marveled at the manner in which their wait staff cooperate with one another to provide service, on my last visit the service was not good (the appetizers came at the same time as the entrees, and it was difficult to find a waiter when you needed one). A special nod to the dessert chef; the pear cake I had for dessert was one of the finest restaurant desserts I've ever had. A note to the brothers/owners: Could you find a chef for Savoy that could do what you do at Zinc? The last meal at Savoy (within the last week) was off.
