Excellent meal. Well prepared....excellent taste...large portions. Nothing went wrong and everything really was perfect for first time visit.
As has been in the past everything was quite good. Possibly important alert. I’m not complaining, but some of the appetizers seemed to be as large as an entre. So be alert to that.
Had dinner here before going to Popejoy. Our server, Brian, was great and made sure we were not late. Food was great as usual.
Food was fantastic! Fresh and paired well. Loved the atmosphere and food ! Drinks were amazing! Look forward to my next visit!
Excellent menu choices. Ample portions. Very nice wine list. Friendly service.
This was my 4th visit to Zinc. We love it. The brunch is great and reasonably priced. We will go back.
This dining event at Zinc was for a Easter Sunday brunch with family. It was great! The food was perfect and the server was exceptional. We will definitely go back! Thank you...
Dining upstairs was quite cold and they were not very accommodating to vegetarians. Food quality and service from the server was very good.
We really enjoyed our meal at Zinc. I started with the Florabora cocktail - excellent! Duck confit eggrolls are a must order! Our server picked a wine flight for me - all great choices. I had the slices of beef tenderloin and my husband had the fish special (fluke), both were very tasty. Prices are reasonable and service was outstanding.
Bar staff was extremely courteous and friendly. I was in town for an event, went there 3 times in 2 days.
Caught up with friends and had an amazing meal.
Food was good. Server didn’t tell us the specials and when we heard them spoken to another table after we ordered we were disappointed to miss out.
We had out of town guests we picked up at the airport. Zinc is conveniently located, only a couple of miles away. It was a Tuesday night so it was quiet. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. Two of us had lamb, cooked perfectly to our order. Excellent food overall with a good wine selection. Zinc also accepted our Open Table gift card. I will definitely return.
We have been going to Zinc since they opened and have always had excellent meals, great wine and good service. However, this last visit was not up to par. The food was terrible. By example, I had the Lamb Loin. It was overcooked, the accompanying gnocchi were hard and chewy with a cheese sauce over the top that was not flavorful. My wife had the Chicken Paillard Saltimbocca, a dish she has enjoyed many times before. This time it was under seasoned, and she left most of it there.
I truly hope this was an anomaly, and that the kitchen staff was just having an off night.
I had the beef ravioli and my husband had a vegetarian entree. The beef was dry considering the dish had too much sauce. My husband wasn't overly impressed with his either. They are very knowledgeable about their wine selection. I wish I could have enjoyed the food more.
Very good food and service, a go to when we want to take out friends or family.
it was a great experience, been there several times and the portions are great for the price. Would recomened this restaurant to anyone. The mussels were great and the size was outstanding. the sauce was to die for. I had the bef with the blue chesse mashed potatoes, it was incredible, I almost wanted a second portion to go. The deserts were good, but not as great as the food.
Zinc is consistently good and they offer a fixed price tasting menu that is one of the best deals in town particularly when you consider how good the food is and the choices they offer on their tasting menu
Been at Zinc's several times. One of my "go to" places when in Albuquerque. Good wine list and a good variety of Bourbons( ask what else they may have- not all on the menu). The food is always very good. The specials are creative. You will not go wrong having a meal here.
Excellent food, service and ambiance.
This was my 3rd time dining at Zinc, so obviously I like it. We had brunch prior to attending a local theater production and it was wonderful. They can even make bacon and eggs taste great. We will definitely go back.
We enjoyed our meals for restaurant week. It was noisy but most often times it is. The wine was very good. We hadn't been there is quite a while. The noise is a bit much for us.
AMAZING service & food as always. This is the place to go on a date or anniversary. Thank you ZInc!!
Was able to schedule a reservation on short notice. Not a large menu, but a great variety. Ahi tuna and beef tenderloin had excellent flavor, but both arrived undercooked.
Amazing restaurant hands down!!!!👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Delicious, another new seasonal innovative menu. I had eggs Benedict with a salmon patty on one side and braised beef on the other. My friends enjoyed a grilled chicken salad and bacon and eggs. We also enjoyed apple upside down cake. Price, our server was exceptional.
This was our first time eating at Zinc. It is a great restaurant with wonderful food. Great wine list as well. Our server was very friendly and very professional.
We really enjoyed our evening and would go back again the next time we are in Albuquerque.
Best breakfast! Omelette and grits croquet were to die. Yummmm. No better restaurant
Everything went according to plan. The food was terrific, service great.
Excellent service. Excellent cocktails and wine. Nice atmosphere. Food was not superb unfortunately — most dishes were just ok, but one main dish was nearly inedible. We were there on a Monday night, so maybe it was an off night for the restaurant since so many reviews are rave.
We went for Sunday brunch. The service was outstanding and the men options were good, although they didn’t match the online menu and they don’t have a ‘natively’ gluten free option on the menu. We sat upstairs and had a great view of the kitchen which was fun. They also had a live musician that was very pleasant and not so loud that it intruded on our conversation.
I felt I had to keep asking for water. We have a bottle of champagne (server only poured first glass) then we ordered a bottle of wine same thing. I thought it was odd. Eating out regularly had never had that happen.
Excellent for wine
Great staff from the moment we walked in with the hosts, to our server approaching our table quickly. Everybody was friendly and professional. Drinks, appetizers, and main dishes were all timed perfectly. Food was really good. This was a wonderful start to our evening that ended with a concert at Popejoy Hall.
We had a terrific time. It was a date night for me and my husband and we loved sitting across from each other and enjoying fine cocktails, delicious food and friendly, professional service. We're from Santa Fe, so there are many good restaurants to choose from, but we were going to a concert in ABQ and wanted to eat there instead.
Great service, great food, great atmosphere. It's a great bar with a great restaurant.
It was a great choice for Valentine’s Day! The only downside was getting a tucked away corner table that was right above the band in the basement. Other than that, an amazing date night!!
My family and ate at Zinc for Valentine’s dinner. We were seated by a door that said “utility closet” or something like that. Not the ambiance we wanted. My meat (filet mignon with mole’ sauce) was tasty, tender and nicely prepared. The twice baked potatoe was almost flavorless. My daughter has a vegetarian relleno which was uninspired and my husband and other daughter ate a chicken and prosciutto dish that neither liked a great deal. We’ve had breakfast/brunch at Zinc and it was very tasty. This dinner...not so much. The server was so busy he didn’t respond when we told him we didn’t need anymore water and just absent mindedly filled our glasses. It may have just been that the restaurant was very busy, but even then, I’d like the food to be scrumptious. Won’t be returning for dinner.
Zinc was a great spot for friends to enjoy dinner. The wine was wonderful. Food was spectacular. Overall, a great spot.
