Zinc is a lively three level bistro in Historic Nob Hill. Featuring an open, urban ambiance, Zinc offers casual fine dining on the main level and the loft mezzanine. For those looking for an exciting show, the exhibition bar offers seats right along the open kitchen. We went for Sunday brunch. The service was outstanding and the men options were good, although they didn’t match the online menu and they don’t have a ‘natively’ gluten free option on the menu. We sat upstairs and had a great view of the kitchen which was fun. They also had a live musician that was very pleasant and not so loud that it intruded on our conversation.

I felt I had to keep asking for water. We have a bottle of champagne (server only poured first glass) then we ordered a bottle of wine same thing. I thought it was odd. Eating out regularly had never had that happen.

Great staff from the moment we walked in with the hosts, to our server approaching our table quickly. Everybody was friendly and professional. Drinks, appetizers, and main dishes were all timed perfectly. Food was really good. This was a wonderful start to our evening that ended with a concert at Popejoy Hall.

We had a terrific time. It was a date night for me and my husband and we loved sitting across from each other and enjoying fine cocktails, delicious food and friendly, professional service. We're from Santa Fe, so there are many good restaurants to choose from, but we were going to a concert in ABQ and wanted to eat there instead.

It was a great choice for Valentine’s Day! The only downside was getting a tucked away corner table that was right above the band in the basement. Other than that, an amazing date night!!

My family and ate at Zinc for Valentine’s dinner. We were seated by a door that said “utility closet” or something like that. Not the ambiance we wanted. My meat (filet mignon with mole’ sauce) was tasty, tender and nicely prepared. The twice baked potatoe was almost flavorless. My daughter has a vegetarian relleno which was uninspired and my husband and other daughter ate a chicken and prosciutto dish that neither liked a great deal. We’ve had breakfast/brunch at Zinc and it was very tasty. This dinner...not so much. The server was so busy he didn’t respond when we told him we didn’t need anymore water and just absent mindedly filled our glasses. It may have just been that the restaurant was very busy, but even then, I’d like the food to be scrumptious. Won’t be returning for dinner.

As always our dinner at Zinc was fantastic! The scallops are amazing the plate presentation beautiful and I love being able to choose a small portion or the regular. Thanks Zinc for another excellent meal!

The entrees were perfectly done. We had beef bourguignon ravioli and a squash stuffed relleno with quinoa and kale. I can think of restaurants here in ABQ who have done as well, but none who have done better. The ravioli were delicious and the chefs somehow worked some magic to get the relleno really crunchy on the outside, a triumph of texture and taste. I really liked the pairing of cheese and fruit with the salad I ordered as well. Nice work, Zinc, thank you for the top-notch dinner experience.

We sat on a loft overlooking the dining room and food prep area. The view was great. Overall, the atmosphere was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the food was good. The prix fixe menu of three courses is a good value. Also a lot to eat. If you are dining as a couple, having one person order the prix fixe with appetizer and dessert and the other ordering a plate only is a good idea. You can share the app and dessert. We did a French wine flight which was great. My wife had beef tenderloin which was great. I had chicken paillard which was, sadly, average. I wouldn't recommend it.

Lovely date night dinner. Excellent bottle of wine and we thoroughly enjoyed sharing appetizers, salad, entre and dessert,
Our waitress Allegra was exceptional. She was attentive and provided great suggestions on menu options and pairings.

We love Zinc, and once again it did not disappoint. We stop in Albuquerque enroute to Phoenix, and always look forward to an evening here. I ordered the beef bourgione ravioli and my husband ordered the lamb with gnocchi. We got the smaller portion and it was plenty of food. Both were wonderful. I’d also recommend the smoked trout appetizer. Yum!
The service is always wonderful and for extra fun, try eating at the bar by the kitchen and enjoy a view of a fine tuned kitchen.

Food was great as always, only issue was (no fault to the management) a very loud group was seated nearby which made most conversation difficult. The upper level is generally a little quieter and will be the plan next time.

We went to Zinc for a birthday dinner. The staff was excellent -- friendly and helpful, yet professional. Our waiter provided great wine recommendations, after asking a few questions to understand what we were looking for. The food and wine were excellent. The dessert menu looked wonderful, but we had cake waiting at home, so passed on those.

As always, Zinc surpassed our expectations for a fantastic dinner on New Year's Eve. Great menu, food and service, all fantastic. This is the 3rd year in a row we've chosen to dine at Zinc for our New Year's Eve special dinner.

As always, the restaurant lived up to expectations. Great food, Great atmosphere and Great service. We've been fortunate to have Brian as our server the last 3 times we've dined at Zinc. He's always knowledgeable, pleasant and great at what he does. We'll continue to dine at Zinc for most of our special occasions!

My medium beef tenderloin was extremely rare, the only issue w service would be that the server who brought us our food didn't bring the silverware so we had to wait for the waitress to bring silverware after we got our food, that included apps, main and dessert. Otherwise it was a very lovely new years eve dining experience.

Great place to enjoy a nice evening of great cocktails and dinner. Found this place online while traveling through on our way to AZ. Tenderloin Medallions and Chicken Breast on Angel Hair with Marsala Sauce were both wonderful. Would recommend this to everyone!
