Zinc Wine Bar & Bistro
Great brunch, very nice Bloody Mary.
The food was tasty, as always.
A perfect place for a “fancy” dinner with the family to celebrate a birthday! (Tween aged kiddo did fine - ate everything! Good Pokémon stop.)
A perfect date night! We were seated upstairs and enjoyed the 3 course meal for two...
Great ambiance for conversation, the entrees were delicious, the goat cheese appetizer, especially impressed, and the wine (he had the Rose, she the Malbec) was perfect!
A great evening!
Neat to watch the Chefs from the second level above the open kitchen.
Recommend the three course tasting menu.
Food was all very tasty and the service was attentive.
Would return when back in ABQ.
Consistently great service and food quality. I often dine here for business.
Great food. Approachable for my parents while also very tasty.
Always an enjoyable experience. Fine cocktails, nice wine list, excellent food. Service is attentive yet unobtrusive.
We were theire on New Year's eve, so the service was slower and not as personal as usual. Also, my Martini was a little skimpy and not up to their usual standards.
The evening was enjoyable, however, and we will be back. The duck breast was outstanding!
Wonderful new year's eve dinner and drinks with a group of 12. Service was outstanding!!
We enjoyed every tasty morsel of our Sunday lunch....and the ambiance and music...a great “coming together” place.
Excellent food with a wonderful ambiance and service.
Ambiance upscale trendy. Great service. Very professional and friendly.
Wonderful service, nice atmosphere. The food was an afterthought. Too much about it was uninspiring to going to any great detail. The desserts were a mess, chocolates were about a month old and out of the box. Not a great time.
Always great food and a pleasant atmosphere
Very well delivered food. The service is excellent.
Excellent dinner - large portions and well prepared. Greatvplace prior to Popejoy.
We had another fabulous meal at Zinc. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and this was our go to restaurant for a special meal. The food was wonderful and our waiter Brian made it a delightful dining experience. It is definitely worth the drive from Santa Fe.
Two brothers in Albuquerque own a trio of established, well-known restaurants: Seasons, Zinc, and Savoy. Zinc is my favorite by a country mile: the food is better and the menu far more creative; the mood is very NYC bar/restaurant; their set price dinner is a bargain for really nice food. By contrast Seasons is often so noisy that hearing your dinner guests is impossible and the food at Savoy is inconsistent in quality. So, I travel across town to go to Zinc. While I have marveled at the manner in which their wait staff cooperate with one another to provide service, on my last visit the service was not good (the appetizers came at the same time as the entrees, and it was difficult to find a waiter when you needed one). A special nod to the dessert chef; the pear cake I had for dessert was one of the finest restaurant desserts I've ever had. A note to the brothers/owners: Could you find a chef for Savoy that could do what you do at Zinc? The last meal at Savoy (within the last week) was off.
Brunch was excellent, they seated us early. Service was great, our server made sure we had everything we needed without hovering and the food was great and served in a timely manner. When they found out we going to Popejoy hall they gave us a discount, what a added bonus!
Can’t wait to return
Our first visit to Zinc was spectacular — dinner sitting in front of the open kitchen. Our recent visit—a holiday Sunday brunch — was disappointing. Service was spotty: drinks were served promptly but I had to search for someone to bring us utensils, and I had to watch my dining companion eat half her meal before mine was brought out. Nothing was even said about the staggered meal delivery, as if it were normal. Food was only so-so: undercooked fries, and very sloppily presented burger. The other meal features very greasy attempt at tempura. Not sure if the quality drop was an aberration or a function of time of day. What’s more suspicious is that we had another holiday lunch (tis the season) 4 days later at partner restaurant Seasons and were similarly disappointed after having been very happy on previous occasions. Hmmm
Great birthday celebration.
We often eat downstairs in the Cellar Bar (buffalo sliders on Saturday night) but eat upstairs at Zinc when we want something fancier. We were thrilled to get a window table to catch the tail end of the TwinkleLight Parade!
Went for our anniversary. The service was fantastic and they made us feel very special. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and explained their specials. My significant other got their special of braised lamb and pasta. The lamb was delicious and melted like butter in your mouth. I got the flank steak au povire which was also delicious and melted in your mouth.
We always enjoy an evening at Zinc. Meredith greeted us warmly and had held our favourite table. Jessie took great care of us for the evening with wine suggestions and good knowledge of the menu and ingredients. Superior service.
Our second time here. Great place for date night! We'll be back for sure.
We stopped in for a late (8:15) dinner on a Sunday night. Except for a raucous group of women at the other end of the room, we were thoroughly satisfied. We wanted cocktails and something light, so we each had an appetizer, both of which were very good. Zinc provided exactly what we wanted (except for the noise).
We came here to celebrate my birthday it was wonderful the wine selection was amazing
We chose this restaurant from a Tripadvoisor recommendation of places to eat near the airport. We were more than impressed. The ambience was great, the service likewise and the food even made the delayed red-eye flight, bearable
First time at Zinc. Very enjoyable, excellent food, well prepared and presented. Zinc offers a range of creative entrée options, with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Service was excellent, not overly intrusive, but with a personal touch. I would recommend Zinc to anyone looking for a place to have a nice meal, with great ambiance, and a wide selection of drinks and wine. Can't go wrong.
This has been y far one of the best bistros I've ever been to!!
Great restaurant in ABQ! Food and drinks were great and would love to come again!
Great service and delicious food.
I've been to this place several times over the years, and it's always a delight. The food is always delicious.
The only issue was the most recent trip, the bathrooms smelled like sewage. But it didn't seep into the restaurant itself.
Love this place. Zinc never disappoints. Always worth it.
Glad to finally having had an opportunity to have dinner at Zinc (post-theatre). Definitely an experience worthwhile repeating. Great food, creative, excellent wines and very pleasant atmosphere!
Recommend sitting at bar looking into kitchen. Food was terrific.
One dish great. One too salty
Very disappointed in our dinner at Zinc Wine Bar. I made the reservation because they had a wonderful sounding vegan entree on the menu. When I asked to order this entree, they said it had been sold out the previous evening. Strange since it's printed on their permanent menu. Overall the service and food were average at best. Our waiter never asked if we were enjoying our food. Basically ignored. Most of our food was under cooked and ill prepared. I hope the kitchen was just having a off night and this is not indicative of the restaurant. Will not be gong back again.
