Zinc Wine Bar & Bistro
A nice brunch menu with a good drink selection. This is a favorite place for us!
Perfect. Food. Service. Drink. Atmosphere. Awesome experience.
Great food! Great service! Great place to celebrate with friends!
One of our favorite restaurants when in Albuquerque. Always great service & food. We were there for Sunday brunch nice atmosphere with guitarist. We highly recommend & will definitely return.
We've been regular customers at Zinc for several years. Always a pleasant experience. We usually ask for a table in the loft--overlooking the kitchen and the cooks at work. Love it. The best value in Albuquerque for this level of food and service.
Duck breast was fantastic and the sprouts with duck crackle was a nice touch
Really excellent quality food. Great recommendation from the waiter re : a wine to pair with my main course. Trendy, but cozy enough to hold a conversation.
The food and atmosphere was excellent as always. 3 of us choose the tasting menu which has 3 courses. It was plenty of food and desert was delicious.
I had Sunday brunch with a friend who had never been to Zinc's (can you imagine?) She LOVED it. She appreciated the seasonal menu and wanted to try everything on it. We each ordered different items, she had "basic" bacon and eggs "fancy" style and I had the German Farmhouse Omelette scrambled egg style. Both were absolutely delicious and we each had dessert. We had the confection of the day. Zinc NEVER is a disappointment...The service is always off the chart as well. They take good care of you.
Fantastic food at a cool venue. Our server was personable and the ambience was great. It was a little loud as it seemed like a couple corporate events were going on, but it was well worth it
Fabulous duck with lingonberries. Loved the Brussels sprouts. Petit Syrah was nice. Potato pierogi were an excellent side. Only one of had the beef and also enjoyed it.
Mostly excellent. One hiccup, the dessert was marginal.
Too much garlic for my taste. I had the chicken dish. Didn't get to finish it.
Love the changes for the fall menu. The duck breast is outstanding, as is the lamb.
Worth the trip; excellent food, great service, a bit too noisy though. They do a “Wine Flight” and if the wines happen to pair well with your food selection, it’s a nice treat. Oh yes, the lamb was excellent!
I expect to return on a regular basis.
Service is top notch. Bartender was very capable. Food was delicious.
Great menu options, especially enjoyed the Grilled Wild Game Sausage appetizer. Ordered the duck breast and nightly-special beef dish, enjoyed both. A good amount of food for the value. Loved the Poached Pear Angel Food Cake dessert.
One of our favorites. The food was good as was the service. Only negative—- Caesar salad had no anchovies.
Incredible food very creative and prepared expertly! fantastic service perfect ambiance!
Food and wine were delicious! We ate upstairs and then had an after dinner drink downstairs while listening to a live jazz band.
Great dinner experience at Zinc. The Chef happened to be near the hostess area. Greated with a warm hello and specials in the menu. Jesse was a fantastic server. Overall ambiance lovely and fun.
Very enjoyable meal, the food and service was excellent, and the ambiance was unique, rustic and classy.
I fail to see why there is not a 'catcher' checking each plate before serving. Lamb dish had a 'wilted' vegetable that was far closer to raw. Not difficult to see, surely?
A great place to meet, even if it's just wine, desserts, and conversation!
Loved the scallops and the cheese plate for desert.
Always loved the ambiance at Zinc. We’ve had appetizers at the bar and then one day we had brunch, but had never had dinner. Our experience was great, with an attentive waiter, and the food was scrumptious, with an immense value from the tasting menu. Chef Chris stop by to say hello at the table. Overall, it was a fantastic time, which is a great pleasure, especially since my husband is a French MasterChef. Looking forward to our next opportunity to have dinner there
The food was superb; we had dinner, the Aux Dog for a show and came back for dessert. Our server for dinner, Heather, was a delight. (Our server for dessert was as well, but I don't remember her name >.< )
I would fully recommend Zinc, it was a wonderful experience.
Outstanding food both in terms of quality and presentation. My guests were from Santa Fe and thought Zinc to be on par with the best restaurants in their city. My salmon was perfectly cooked. Solid wine list-lots to like about this local icon.
We found Zinc on Open Table and are very glad we did! It was a great experience. The restaurant is industrial/urban/Southwest-contemporary--a really cool ambiance!
Our waiter was terrific and told us all about the menu, since we were 1st-timers.
We had nice wine and a very delicious meal!
I haven't been to Zinc for over a year even though the restaurant is nearby. We were attending a play and thought it convenient. The food was terrific--I had an appetizer and salad. And the service was unobtrusive but thoughtful. I like a restaurant that has excellent food and is unpretentious. I do wish you would offer an imaginative vegetarian entree. That is why I ordered an appetizer and salad.
Brought some out of town guest and it’s was awesome! Our waiter was so helpful and kind. Definitely coming back in the future.
We had looked at their menu and it looked interesting so we thought we would try it. WE are glad we did. The waiter and service were outstanding and the food a delight. The place filled up and the noise level got higher so I would not say that it is a quiet romantic spot for dinner. But that did not spoil our evening. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Zinc is an all time Albuquerque favorite. We go there most of the time when we are in Albuquerque. The menu was brand new the night we were there but neither of us could resist the tried & true beef tenderloin with blue cheese mashed potatoes - absolutely delicious.
Very lovely birthday dinner. Small plates are great, and I still brought home food! The truffles were delicious.
Zinc is one of my top 3 places in Albuquerque. Great food and great service every time. And less expensive than lots of other places not as good.
Thank you so much for the kind words! We truly appreciate it!
our favorite dining out place for special occasions , always great
Thank you! We will see you soon!
The flank steak is to die for!
This was a real treat for us. The waitstaff could not have been kinder....we need a little extra help sometimes, as one of us is in a wheelchair. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Top notch from beginning to end.
Another great dinner at Zinc. We had the artichoke appetizer which was very tasty. I really enjoyed the angel hair pasta with shrimp scampi. Chopin Martini was great, with hand stuffed blue cheese olives.
