Great little venue for dinner and drinks before our show. Our waitress was kind and prompt. Checked on us multiple times and we were never without something to drink! Food was delicious. Fall menu, we had the shrimp and grits and cavatelli with short rib sugo. Plenty to eat and came to the table hot! Will happily dine before any show here. Dress is casual.

We had excellent service. The food was scrumptious, we will come again. The zinc restaurant is in such a splendid location, ambience galore! It was a great way to celebrate my husband’s 78th birthday!

We were first couple their, food was bland, small portions served Luke warm. waitress made evening bearable, wonderful service but was not impressed. Desert was chocolate cake, was bone dry. Will not return did not receive value for what we ordered.

The menu was different from their website. Our reservation was for 6:15 and we were seated right away. However we ended up with only 20 minutes to eat our dinner so we wouldn’t be late for the 7:30 concert

Great place to dine before a production at The Holland!!! Park once for an entire evening of fine dining and entertainment!!! Makes the evening very relaxing knowing that you don’t have to scramble through traffic and look for parking to get to your concert venue.

The steaks were delicious. Cab Sav not so much. Flavor profiles on other entrees a little weak but preparation was good. Plates were not cold. Dessert good. Wait staff a little inexperienced. All in all a very nice place to eat before a concert. We’ll go again.

We had reservations for 6:30 pm and a concert at the Holland at 7:30 pm. We got our food at 7:17 pm which gave us less than ten minutes to eat. We picked this place because it was at the Holland Center but we won’t be back.

Food was very good (entrees were apple salad with chicken and roasted salmon caprese). Server was pleasant but seemed distracted. Drink order was taken quickly. She delivered drinks but didn't take dinner order. We had to flag her down 40 minutes after our initial seating to get our order in.

We were seated immediately, ordered drinks. Ordered dinners within first 20 minutes. Drinks arrived at the one hour and 10 minutes. Dinners arrived at omen hour and 20 minutes. Had the ahi stake. It was over cooked - dry.

It was our first time at the concert hall and decided to take advantage of Zinc in the same building. Smaller menu than shared online, but plenty of good options to choose from. Our server was personable and appropriately attentive. My husband like the lamb burger, and my hangar steak was nicely prepared, but the serving was quite small for the price.

We arrived for our reservation an hour and 25 minutes before showtime, but barely made it to our seats as the concert was starting. We ordered fairly quickly, but the food took quite awhile to come. We shared a steak special and had a salad and soup. The salad was field greens which were quite wilted and had brown edges. My husband thought the soup was good. They did split the entree for us in the kitchen, which was nice, and the portions were extremely generous. However, the chimmichurri on the steak was so salty that it made everything it touched on the plate almost inedible. The steak was quite chewy also. I ordered the chocolate budine for dessert and he had one of the ice creams. They took quite a long time to arrive also. The budine was delicious and he enjoyed the ice cream, even though he couldn't taste some of the flavors that were supposed to be there.

Our first experience at Zinc was very delightful, starting with the attentive waitstaff, then followed-up with delicious servings. To make things even better, the executive chef stopped by to ask if we were happy with our meals, and taking time to share how the food was sourced and prepared. Dining at Zinc, was a nice experience in fine dining, and a prelude to a wonderful musical performance.

We very much enjoyed our dinner choices last night. I had the tortellini with roasted salmon and my husband had the Sea Bass. Both delicious! Thanks to all of the wait staff for making our anniversary evening special The dessert was chose was also amazing.

I love that the Holland has a restaurant venue on site. It makes for a much more relaxed visit. Zinc is an excellent restaurant that demonstrates its creativity with surprise combinations. I gave the restaurant 3 stars because all items on their menu (except for Mr. Holland's Meatloaf) have varying degrees of dairy. LOTS of dairy. I wish Zinc would include at least one seafood or vegetarian meal without dairy. Until that happens, I'm compelled to enjoy Mr. Holland's Meatloaf. Re: the Hendricks Gin & Tonic. To her credit, our waitress asked IF I would like lime with my G&T. My response: "well... if you don't have muddled cucumber, I'll try it with the lime." Lime simply doesn't go with it at all. The Hendricks Gin has such a full-bodied flavor on its own, that I'll choose to have it without lime in the future. However, It seems that keeping some ice-cold cucumbers in the freezer would be an easy (and expected) way to add the muddled cucumber that completes this beverage so superbly. I was introduced to Hendricks at The Triple Door in Seattle and the muddled cucumber can't be beat. Desserts are always excellent.

The service was very slow. It took 15-20 minutes to get drink orders and bread, and we saw another table go get drinks from the bar outside of Zinc. It wasn't especially busy, so I'm not sure why the delay. Our reservation was for 6pm and we got done at 7:20pm for a 7:30 concert. We skipped dessert since we didn't want to miss the concert and it took another 15 minutes to get the check.

The service is always wonderful and love attending before all of the shows! I am disappointed in the menu selection. I ordered a salad that was mostly tomato’s and hard pieces of bread (that I could not even cut). There is no options for children (Lamb Burger is not a kids burger). Hoping next time we dine, the menu will have better selections. Thank you!
