Lovely food and friendly, attentive service. The host was knowledgeable and his recommended options were spot on.
good quality Russian soul food. Amazing interior and not bad price for the area.
I have been to the restaurant with the group of university friends. I liked the interior with Russian sleds and old spinning/weaving devices on the walls. There is a good choice of traditional Russian dishes like bortsch (beetroot soup), Olivier salad and a number of desserts including Kartoshka and Bird's milk. They also serve Georgian wine which, I believe, is not often served in London. So if you miss Russian food, this place is definitely for you. However, it will be fun for people not familiar with Russian cuisine as well.
It's a decent food, and good for those who have never tried Russian cuisine. Not great service though, overpriced, and quality of food lacks consistency. But an interesting try.
The place is nice and simple. Russian popular music playing.
The service was fair, but not great as we have been forgotten a few times (though it was busy Saturday evening).
Food is good but not great, so being Russian difficult to justify the price you pay for it.
Is good for local to get a bite and taste of what is Russian cuisine though.
Decided to try this restaurant following a recommendation. Charming interior and service were accompanied by traditional Russian fayre with perhaps a little more panache. I had the special of barley and wild mushroom soup while my companion enjoyed the borscht. We tried eat stuffed buns and then the pelmeni. I felt the broth was a little too salty but it was full of flavour. The price without wine was very reasonable. Great experience.
Good food and good service. They speak Russian.
Good food and good service. They speak Russian.
Excellent place with tasty russian food. Borsh is just awesome
Food and service was amazing however the prices where a bit too much
For one tini tiny “pirajok” £2 - a bit much for dough and cabbage
I had a really nice evening the waiter was great😊 I picked zina for my boyfriend's bday as he loves vodka and we both enjoyed our dinner very homey tastefull and portion were great. Thank you all. You will see us again.
Wonderful e peroence for a
A useful stop-off point to meet up before the local Jazz club Ronnie Scott's but otherwise not worth going out of your way to visit. Limited menu but good value for money.
Great restaurant with vodka, food and nice ambiance!
My girlfriend and I went there on a Tuesday for my birthday - the food was superb, the decor excellent, the drinks delicious and the service was literally impeccable. I'd go there every week if it wouldn't spoil how special it is!
One of if not the cleanest, smartest restaurants I've ever been to. The food was superb and very healthy. The service was excellent - couldn't fault it really. Highly recommended.
Nice friendly restaurant with tasty foods I’d russia worthwhile Portions are small so you can try many things
Interesting and different. Not haute cuisine but definitely worth a try. The welcome and service were friendly and knowledgeable.
I love this place. There are very good food and drinks ( their nastoiki are must try ) I go there every time I miss Russian homemade food
Great, authentic Russian food. Not the first time that I've been, nor will it be the last. Nice to have borsch cooked properly, and the pelmeni & vareniki were perfect.
Furthermore, the service was great, as were the singer and guitarist who played a mixture of both western and russian songs.
Authentic Russian menu, Olivie salad was delicious. However, miserable service ruined the overall impression. Would not recommend.
Really nice place, great service, very clean, fantastic food and really nice atmosphere , loved it and will be back. Food is much tastier than overpriced Russian Marivanna restaurant in Knightsbridge
The main things that made this a memorable evening for us were. Interesting menu. Good infusions. Fun waiter.
Great food and service, draniki and honey cake are top notch!
Great service and food! Try their soups - very tasty and fulfilling.
My second visit within 5 months
The terrace area at the back good in the warm weather
Food very authentic and well prepared
Wine list has a few Georgian wines to complement the style of food
Flavoured vodkas especially the horseradish are a must
By far the best vodka infusions in London! Zima is my go-to place for Russian food. Their zucchini with cream sauce is amazing! Borsch, vareniki, pelmeny, oliver salad and beetroot salade taste like home. The service is attentive and friendly. Thumbs up for Zima.
We really enjoyed our visit to Zima, good food, cocktails and vodka!
Friendly staff, very nice atmosphere and music is always bringing you to a smile.
Nice and cosy Russian Restaurant, with Russian music and decor with a hint of hip. Solyanka soup and pelmeni are amazing. Pelmeni is one of my favourite dishes, I eat a lot of home made so I arrived quite critical, but I was very impressed. It`s on the pricey side but I will definitely go back! Amazing food.
Service not that good, main dish have to wait around 45min.
Good atmosphere, nice food, a little pricey but fair value.
Had a great meal for a good price at Zima! The food was absolutely delicious, and we especially enjoyed the flavor infused vodka. Highly recommend - I will definitely be back!
Greeted straightaway, nice view of the whole restaurant and the vodka was fantastic! The food came out hot and was absolutely lovely, I would recommend this place. However, for next time I will need to learn more russian to interact properly with the rest of the staff.
Great menu! I highly recommend the caviar, blinis and sour cream to start paired with horseradish vodka. The borscht and pelmeni is outstanding, the food is very authentic. Definitely go with the vodka board. Highly recommended!
Excellent service, good menu choices and no problem advising on gluten free options. Only downside being no gluten free desserts.
Otherwise an excellent venue giving good value for money.
A very nice Russian restaurant with authentic - I think - offerings, great infused vodkas and enthusiastic, friendly staff. We will def go back.
Fantastic russian tapas place!
Amazing as usual, my fourth time there. It's always a great place to bring new friends who've never tried Russian food and surprise them! Delicious food, lovely attentive staff who know the menu inside out and make great recommendations for first-time visitors to the restaurant, and a lovely ambiance. Hope to be back very soon.
Very pleasant experience. Really enjoyed the food, the staff and the vodka! A gem of a place - visit if you can.
Great small restaurant serving good authentic Russian food
The Siberian Ossetra Caviar was good value
Could not fault any of the food
The flavoured Vodkas were excellent especially the horseradish one
