Food was excellent, as was the service. An unpretentious friendly place to get a great Italian dinner at reasonable prices.
Wow! We were looking fir some good Italian food and Zia Maria did not disappoint! Highly recommend!!
Food proportions and quality were amazing. Got there eighth at noon and we’re the first people there. More trickled in within the hour, but it didn’t get noisy and we were able to comfortably distance.
Thanksgiving in NYC. Great family dinner. Food was great, waiter was excellent, ambiance was perfect. This place had that locals feel. Would definitely book again.
This was one of the worst Italian restaurants in the city I have been to. The bread was served with a white
We had a great time celebrating a birthday. The good was so good… we took some to go - beet salad and pizza. Great location in Chelsea.
Good was sub par. Drinks and check ins from waiter took too long or we had to flag them down. Older man was very sweet at the door and made our experience stand out.
There was a bit of a wait but well worth it. The food was delicious, the staff apologized for the delay, and were so lovely to get us a table and make sure we were well taken care of. Will absolutely be returning! Great restaurant.
One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. They didn’t seat us for more than 30 minutes while we waited in a crowd of people. The service was awful and our food took an hour to come out. They blasted techno making the entire experience feel like a fever dream. Will never go back.
Great Italian food. Very nice atmosphere although there are some noisy tables.
Blendi was a great server. Mozzarella Sticks, best I've ever had, 2 Penne Vodka and Frutti Di Mare were fantastic and plentiful. A couple of Peronis and San Santo Pinot Grigios made for a wonderful evening. Thank you.
The service was on point and excellent. The food comes out quickly and is of great quality. Casual Italian place in Chelsea. There were 6 of us and we ordered about half of the starters on the menu. Beet salad was good, calamari / shrimp dish was great as was the burrata.
For the main course the grandmas lasagna was amazingly good. The spaghetti for all the dishes we had was great. It’s not all dente but also not too soft.
Wine was very reasonable price. The most expensive bottle was about $100 where similar bottles at other places charge double. And they have many nice Italians for the $45-$60 range.
Also the service was top notch, they followed covid protocols for vaccine card checks.
Loved the quaint place, really charming spot in Chelsea. Went for a lunch get together with my girl friends. Food was Wow, ambience was wow and the service was great as well. We ordered the shrimp scampi and Mushroom pizza, bruschetta and Tiramisu, spent over 2 hours there. Would definitely go again !! LOVE LOVE LOVE !!
The staff was helpful and accommodating. The food is as delicious, and during Covid, we appreciated the space and the open front was almost like being outside, but cozier.
Abtipasti and pizzas were great. Very attentive service. Ambiance a little loud, however...
Great pasta and wine
We have a larger group and had a great time sitting outdoors. The food and drinks are awesome though it was a little difficult to get water refills. Overall the experience was really great.
We enjoyed the food and outdoor dining experience.
Best pasta I’ve ever tried and had the best customer service!
Enjoyed the brunch menu and service was great. Would go back.
Smelly. Food not edible. Mozzarella sticks tasted like fish sticks, the lemonade was iced Mr Clean, and the ravioli was cold Chef Boyardee.
The location is central, the service was good and the food was DELICIOUS!
I arrived about 40 minutes early for my reservation but was greeted enthusiastically and graciously. Zac was terrific. We discussed my wine selection, and his suggestion suited me perfectly. Granted, it was early in the evening, and the restaurant was almost empty, but, even as more tables filled, we continued to be treated attentively by Zac and the rest of the team. The food, too, was excellent.
One of the best Italian places I’ve had in the city.
Standard date experience. Expecting better quality pizza.
Terrible food. The bread they served was stale. Bruschetta was soggy. Just didn’t like the food at all. Our special occasion was spoilt.
Excellent food our group where 3 people and we shared 2 dishes, enough for all of us
Attractive plating, clean/fresh vibe, delicious food. Nice drink list.
We came here last night for a large group dinner and it was great! The drinks, food and service were excellent.
The food was so delicious and our waiters were extremely kind.
Really enjoyed Zia Maria's. The staff were friendly and service was quick. The food was delicious. We would go back!
Food was very very good! None of the frozen drinks on the menu were available. Service was a a little unattentive considering that there were only 2 other tables both with small parties eating at the same time.
I made a reservation and paid $30 to Uber to the restaurant only to find out they’re closed. Update your times, its not that hard. Unprofessional and irresponsible.
amazing food and great atmosphere. everything was cooked perfectly some of the best carbonara pasta ever
Nice spot, with great pizza and even better service! We’ll be back
Even though we had a reservation, we were still forced to stay out in the freezing cold because they didn’t have any table ready. Food was tasty however.
The guy added additional tip after closing the bill, which I saw on my credit card statement.
This is completely unacceptable
Last day before NYC shuts down :( they were amazing!
Great dinner outside under heat lamps. Excellent food and service. I would highly recommend Zia Maria.
The food was amazing! REALLY GOOD PORTION SIZE! My friends and I were full and happy!
