   Had a delightful afternoon at Zheng He in Jumeirah Mina A'Salam yesterday. The location is fantastic, and the hospitality is just as wonderful. While the food was decent, the wine selection impressed us. Overall, the service was attentive and added to our positive experience. A great spot for a relaxed lunch with a view!

   Super friendly and attentive staff! Foor was delicious and portions were good! Ambience and setting was very nice!

   a beautifully crafted place with a great location. Cold and unwelcoming reception - "we normally don't use opentable - just made an exception for the summer week...". The selection of food for the Summer Week menu was ...insignificant. All in all you really were given an impression that you're there totally out of order and place. As if they were selling gold and diamonds disguised in various dishes. But they don't Pity. They managed to "sell" the ambience but not really got us interested to further explore the signature dishes or the manu in general. Chinese cuisine is so rich! They showed its rather dull facet. Again: pity!

   Our evening was very nice, and the Summer Restaurant Week Menu was great value but I have to say, having told the restaurant twice, during Booking and Confirmation, that it was our Honeymoon and had a personal reply saying they would do all possible to ensure we had a special evening, no mention was made of it at all, we didn’t get the requested table by the window (and the restaurant was not full) in fact I would say it was one of the poorest locations close to the main door with no view whatsoever. Everywhere else we went that weekend, we had something lovely as a “surprise” whether cocktails or a little congratulations cake. First world problems I know, but I would expect a 5* dining establishment to make more effort with guests who have a really special occasion, and for that reason we wouldnt rush back as I do not feel like a valued customer.

   At first we were a bit disappointed because the appetizer and soup was really small but when the main course came more than enough for 1 person. And the food was wow. So tasty and delicious. Definitely we will come back. One of the best Chinese restaurant for me.
