For parties larger than 8 people $68 (per person) pre-fix menu is required.

Zest was a great find. It is a bit off the beaten path, as the San Juan Water and Beach Club is in a nook in Isla Verde on the beach. We got there after sunset, but I suspect that sunset would be rather pretty, right on the water. The food was well executed and had unique takes on Latin/PR traditional foods for many of the things on the menu, but also had some completely special treats. Everything everyone ordered was delicious and well executed. Even if you are not a truffle fan, I highly recommend the truffle popcorn soup in particular. Also, the drink list has some really unique cocktails. Lastly, the wine list is very reasonably priced while having good options too. This is definitely a restaurant I'd recommend if someone found themselves in the area.

The restaurant atmosphere is terrific and the service was great. The appetizers and desserts were good but the main courses were very disappointing. The presentation of the food was excellent but unfortunately the taste just was not there. Overall it was bland and tasteless. The better main courses were the salmon and chicken. The not so good were the short ribs and steak. The value for the dollar is not very good. We were disappointed as we had eaten here a number of times before they changed the menu and loved it. The new menu does not show off the previous talent of the restaurant.

Great place and very chic boutique hotel in front of the beach. Quiet and pleasant. Atmosphere is modern yet cozy. Wait staff very attentive. Food was creative and good. 2 of 4 in our group found it a bit salty. Went up to the rooftop bar Mist after for a drink. Also very nice and great views.

We are here several times on vacation and it was very good each time- especially love the fried chicken sliders! Restaurant has a water theme that is very cool.

A little too uneven for their price point. Some things were well prepared and presented. Others were not done well. A steak was unevenly cooked. A lava cake was overlooked to the point that there was little lava left. It seems it could be great. Maybe since it was Christmas Eve the usual chef was not there.

Online menu is not current which posed a problem when they did not have a Caesar salad and they were not very flexible about providing some sort of salad even though there was a dish with arugula on the menu
