ZEST is the second venture for the owners of Grille 3501, an upscale casual restaurant which has sustained continued growth and success for over 20 years. Located on the 6th floor of the Gateway Building on the South Side of Bethlehem, ZEST has had the honor of being awarded the Lehigh Valley's favorite rooftop of 2021, favorite atmosphere of 2020, and favorite new restaurant of 2019. Chef Sean Rainey brings New American cuisine to life with signature dishes including braised beef short ribs and crab & mango spring rolls. The views whether you choose to sit indoors or outdoors are unparalleled. The 130 seat balcony lets you take in the sights of the southside like the steel stacks, Fahy and Hill to Hill bridges, and Bethlehem city hall in the distance. ZEST also features a partially open kitchen design, large 20 seat bar, and an indoor space with panoramic accordion sliding windows that let you experience the best of both worlds.

    Sunday brunch. Our server, Hannah, was excellent as was our seating. The food options were very good. My only comment is the Short rib Poutine was extremely salty. A great option but very salty on this visit. We do enjoy Zest and will certainly be back.

    Food was extremely disappointing. Spring rollls tasted like they were frozen, thawed and cooked. The avocado toast was not what I expected. The toast did not tase fresh, it was cold. The over easy egg looked like it was cooked in used pan. Has brownish residue on top. The Eggs Benedict was equally as disappointing.

    Great place, great food, great service. Like all establishments though, I’d love to see the pricing get back to pre pandemic pricing. A glass of wine or a piece of cake does not need to be $12 to $14.00. Time to bring pricing back down.

    Very nice! The food and drinks are delicious, our waiter was friendly and attentive, and the view is beautiful. This is one of our favorite restaurants.
