Located on the sixth floor of the brand new Gateway Building on the South Side of Bethlehem, Zest offers New American fare with spectacular 180 degree views of Bethlehem. Features of the restaurant include a partially open kitchen design, an open air balcony, two completely private dining rooms, an open concept bar seating 22 guests, a huge bar area with comfortable banquette and high top seating, and a corner lounge with the best views in the space.
The view was great and so was the food. Everett was our server and the recommendations he made were on point. He also has a great personality.
Both the food quality and presentation were outstanding, as was our server. The only issue I have is the seating. We requested inside seating, as it was a humid day and the terrace appeared to be home to quite a lot of the invasive Spotted Lantern Fly. We were seated at a window table overlooking the 'city,' which was fine. Then the host seated a foursome on the terrace right outside our window, blocking our view. Additionally, the host seated a table of six, right next to us, when there were plenty of other tables that could have accommodated them further from us. Both these situations detracted from our visit.
Beautiful view of Bethlehem. The food is mediocre .
Such a cool experience and such a fun time outside.
Fun drinks, creative appetizers (LOVE the roasted avocado!), and delicious entrees = a memorable dinner experience. And, did I mention the view? It's amazing!
Great food ,friendly professional staff and good atmosphere, the view from the outside seating is great
The food was absolutely amazing. We went on a monday afternoon so it was pretty quiet but the food and service were unbelievable. Our server Everet was so attentive and personable. Of course the breathtaking view just added to the whole experience.
This was our first time dinning at Zest. Experience was amazing. Service was great. Server was always checking up and went above and beyond. The food speaks for itself. You will not be disappointed.
Our dinner was disappointing. My husband had the chicken over mashed potatoes with spinach and it had no taste or flavor. I had the scallops risotto and the scallops were undercooked and almost every bite was a mouthful of sand! Our apps were the best part.
Great service, great meal. Superb ambiance. Loved every minute of the night, from the very nice reception with polite and helpful staff to the lovely waitress.
Great experience. Food was excellent. Hot flavorful served when expected
Great views from 6th floor
Servers had positive attitude welcoming knowledgeable and friendly
Great time overall. Everyone loved their food and waitress was amazing!
The food was amazing. Starting with the rolls, including the appetizer and especially the filet mignon. An absolute keeper!!!!!
Food was good, server was very nice. I would go back again.
We loved the outdoor seating on the 6th floor overlooking Bethlehem. Food was delicious. A cocktails menu that made it difficult to choose from due to so many great options. And dessert was phenomenal! We had to try it even thought we were full. Loved it at Zest and we’ll be back!
Nice venue....interesting dishes and cocktails were pleasantly stiff...staff was friendly but overall, food and drink service was a little slow...the view helped compensate some for the wait
Great food and service. Best seat in the restaurant with great sunset view!
Excellent as always! Thank you!!
The staff was fantastic, while we didn't get to sit outside (due to the weather) the host had a table ready for us, due to the large party at near the bar they allowed us to relocate to an empty table near the outside deck ( much quieter). The service was fantastic, the food was plentiful and delicious. Will be returning when the weather is much better for an evening of dining over South side skyline!
Everett our server was amazing. His suggestions were spot on. I should have listened to him but I had my mind made up on something different. The view of the south side of Bethlehem was beautiful. Only down side was it was noisier than I was expecting.
This was our first visit to Zest and we loved it! We'll be back, with friends or family. Great food, nice friendly staff. Lot's of room and great views, especially from the outside balcony where we sat.
The food was great, people were friendly and atmosphere was enjoyable.
Very nice however the walkway from garage to restaurant need to be improved. Very uneven and difficult to walk on with heels
If taking the 7th floor walkway to enter Zest, one will find that they are immersed in a view of the city that is unchallenged. Add that to the outdoor dining experience and you’ll find that on the scenery alone, Zest is worth the visit.
The food was good to great, with a menu that provides the right amount of options. The variety of flavor and entrees should be suitable for your typical date night. For the price it would have been nice to add some quantity to the food choices, but the presentation was spot on.
The service provided by Everett, our waiter, was excellent. He was knowledgeable on the menu, provided great perspective on the choices we faced as guests, and took his time with us as we decided.
I would definitely return and look forward to my next visit.
Wonderful service and amazing view!
We had a wonderful late lunch at Zest. There were only a couple of occupied tables so it was quiet and our service was terrific. The food was delicious and my wife's gluten sensitivity was accommodated nicely. The crab and corn chowder was absolutely amazing! Our seating was a high top table with really nice views. We were very pleased with our first meal at Zest.
Service was decent
Outside dining felt a little uneasy for me reason being I felt the table was uneven and walking on the pavement was a little nerve wracking next time I might dine in
Dinner with friends that get together every few months for dinner out.
Good food, good service, and prices are decent. Our waitperson was terrific. Desserts try the tartlet. Yummy. Getting into the restaurant from the garage is super tricky and the garage itself doesn’t take cash. Park your car on levels 3 or 4. Go through the walkway. Take the elevator to the 6th floor. And you’re there. But honestly it’s super tricky if no one tells you.
Been here a couple times before And the food was amazing, but this last visit we were very disappointed with the food. The restaurant was also very, very hot. Not sure if there was an issue with the AC.
We will definitely be back for the coconut creme brûlée! Our server seemed very distracted. We should have stayed at the bar for dinner.
Amazing place! Wonderful views! And the food and service are top notch!!
It was a very very (heat wave) hot Saturday night. The A/C struggled a bit but regardless the dining experience was very good. It was actually restaurant week. Very good choices - I had the lobster risotto for starters then scallops and finally creme brulee. All excellent! Really nice views and attentive service. Definitely going back...
Everything was excellent at Zest. From the moment we were seated until we departed everything was extremely enjoyable. Our reservation was made for outside dining. Because of the high heat Zest called to inform me they were closing their outside dining. This was great because we were prepared to take a cover for our shoulders. This was very considerate of Zest. Our serve Dani was outstanding. Every course was memorable. We look forward to return hopefully soon.
Very hot no air conditioner
Loved the fried cauliflower appetizer!
Tyler was a fantastic server with exceptional recommendations and patience!
We really enjoyed dining at Zest, and we're happy to have a fun spot to go to on the south side. It was a bit of a challenge finding our way, but we joined others who were also headed there and we all managed to figure it out. Our service was perfect and our food was very good.
