   Honestly I’m confused by all the previous reviews. The menu has changed and a number of items that are on their website are no longer available. When we mentioned that we had come because of certain items the response from the waitress was, “oh, we change some as we like” and no apology. The food lacked any form of balance, and was either too sweet or too sour or just didn’t make sense at all. Sadly what we expected to be a great evening wasn’t and we definitely won’t return. Only positive was the beer was cold.

   Do you like waffles? Try anything with a waffle in it. This place really knows how to do a savoury waffle.

   Went with a friend. Food was okay, quite standard cafe fare, no complaints there - its not easy to strike a balance between creative and potentially unpopular dishes and the usual cafe suspects (scrambled eggs, etc). Didn't allow us to use the Zomato app to call in a discount - apparently we were expected to read through the T&Cs before redeeming a few drinks, and were also told those drinks had to be identical. No indication of that in the fine print. Left a bad taste in my mouth. For a cafe so empty on the weekends, I expected a more tactful response, and would welcome some goodwill too.

   Look, we loved the place but went there because of the menu available online. We were extremely disappointed to find out that the menu being advertised was no longer available (no online updates of this). We were left trying to work out what else we would have. The fusion sushi concept is not available because; there is a Japanese restaurant nearby... The portions were also pretty small for the price. But the quality of food we ate was amazing and the coffee was super smooth. We will be back to try a few other dishes and to have another coffee!!

   Really interesting menu of what most definitely is creative cuisine. I’m very much looking forward to returning and exploring more of what is on the menu. I definitely recommend giving Zero Mode a try. Also, do yourself a favour and try their deserts.

   Very ‘instagram’ Boozy ramen looked amazing but lacked taste. Pork belly was the highlight.
