   When you go on the earlier side, it’s quieter upstairs with the same great service. Some of best sushi and drinks in town. Highly recommend. Thank you!

   Went to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and amazing experience. They sat us by the cherry blossom tree for his birthday and presented him mochi ice cream and a candle on the house. The service was great, food was EXCEPTIONAL, and great ambiance. Would go again!

   We reserved a seat at the sushi bar. Small, but worked for us. Chef and staff were great. Food was delicious, good cocktails and great atmosphere. Watching food prep was entertaining.

   Went out last night with 6 girlfriends for my birthday and we had a blast! Drinks were good and strong. We got ebi shumai, edamame, rock shrimp tempura, and beer harumaki(sp?) for apps and they were all great. Then we each got 2-3 sushi rolls. My favorites were the dragon roll and spicy scallop roll. Would definitely go back!

   This was my second time back and I absolutely adore this place. The energy is everything and it’s overall just a great time with friends. The food is phenomenal and I highly recommend next time you want to mess around, eat like crazy and sing your heart out

    Bar director was great! Friendly, energetic, made custom cocktails too. Sushi was good. Very busy on a Friday evening and we made reservations for a table outside but it was raining and requested to move inside. There was a group that was done eating but had no incentive to leave which meant we were stuck at the bar .. typically hosts would enforce a 2-2.5hr limit to clear tables but they didn’t do that in this case.

    The food here is good especially the Momo if you like yakitori. They lost a star because it was unbelievably loud. Like I’m talking club-level loud where you have to yell into your server's ear to order. And this is BEFORE karaoke starts. And sadly service was unusually slow. It took our server 30 min to check on us though I could see them checking other tables in the same section and skipping us. The food is solid but I probably won’t visit again.

    Food was excellent and price was great as well. Server was very kind and helpful. The hostess was very rude and unaccommodating. They rushed us out of our table even though we still had time on our reservation and had already paid the check.

    Zack was great! He truly cares about the experience and made it great. The food was reallyyyyy good. Tuna was super fresh. The beef appetizer was fire too. Everything was great.

    Then did not give me back my credit card when I paid and I had to go back to get it the next day. They weren’t even busy it was empty when I dined in so when I went back the next day it was kind of suspicious that myself and this other guy was also there to pick up our “forgotten credit card”. Not sure if this was just a inattentive server or attempt to steal credit card.

    Definitely come here if you want to experience the WORST outdoor seating arrangement in Washington D.C. There is no cover on the side of the restaurant and they try to gaslight you into thinking the heaters are efficient. I was seated on one of the coldest days this winter outdoors. This restaurant was atrocious and the service was mid! The server came outside for two seconds and didn’t even serve us. Every guest complained about how cold it was and got no results. Don’t believe the hype of this place. I rather had went to Wendy’s ! 🤢

    Our family went to Zeppelin to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious and the service was great. The sushi was very fresh and all the dishes had high quality ingredients. I would definitely come again…next time I’d like to stay for karaoke!

    The service was amazing and her recommendations were spot on. I enjoyed the entire menu and the specialty curated restaurant week menu. Cannot wait to be back! Highly recommend the painkiller drink, the shrimp dumplings, and all the nigiri.

    Sushi was average. Bottle of white was served slightly cooler than room temperature. Our bistro table was 24” round and my dinner plate was 18” round. Spent most of our dinner making sure nothing fell off the table.

    First the table we received was near the stairs so there was constant shuffling of people back and forth. Orders coming and going. Felt like I was at a busy Chinese restaurant. The quality of the fish was the greatest. Also it was restaurant week so the food was limited. Will seek a better Japanese sushi restaurant in the future.

    Extraordinary quality and the sushi chef Jose poured a lot of love into the way he made the sushi and presented to me. Jose spoke about how he became a sushi chef and it was an amazing experience.

    The meal and server were both great. But the restaurant didn’t honor the reservation. We arrived on time and waited at the door because there was no table available in the dining room, as promised. We were then seated at a communal counter upstairs even though we had reserved a table.
