Came for the French toast. Nice atmosphere, was a little hot inside but food was great. Service 6/10
Fathers Day Brunch
bartenders were excellent. very knowledgeable and friendly, especially Charlie. Food was very good also. must try the fried chicken.
The food is so much better at dinner. I went for the brunch thinking that it would be the same experience, but it's not. The hushpuppies bennedict is dry and not warm and the sauce on the French toast makes it soggy after you're halfway through. Go for dinner! Dinner is delicious.
Food was good but still more tapas style brunch than entrees as advertised. Would recommend a side with your order
Our foursome went to Zeppelin on Saturday night for an 8:45 reservation. I have to admit, we were a little surprised it wasn't still full at that point (since its right in the heart of Southend). We loved the vibe/ambiance immediately, which I would describe as inviting and eclectic. After we were served our delicious small plates, we were even more shocked that capacity wasn't overflowing. Our food was scrumptious!!! We had the steak, the yellowtail, the fried chicken, the gnocchi (oh my goodness, so good), and every dish was absolutely wonderful! Our server, Tony, was excellent. We had a great time and cannot wait to go back:-)
Everything on menu is excellent
Can not wait to go back!! The most delicious food, fun drinks and service was outstanding. Can not recommend enough.
Great spot for a craft cocktail and small bite. My only suggestion would be to change their menu for each season or expand item choices.
A great place to share enticing small plates and sip a craft cocktail.
We had a great meal. We had a big group and ordered everything but the trout. The miss Tina and pineapple skies were excellent cocktails. The octopus and carrots were standouts but everything was delicious. Great meal! Tony was our waiter, great and funny. Music was great too and not too loud. We would go back for sure.
Fantastic place for any party! Throughly enjoyed our experience here!
Food was excellent but pricey. Loved the music and great service.
I really wanted to love this place. The food was fantastic and my first cocktail was delicious. We were out for my birthday (which we mentioned to our server), and wanted to enjoy a few drinks while we were out and away from our kids. We got our first round pretty quickly, but it took over 30 minutes for our next round and my husband never even got his Uncle Eddy which was highly hyped by our server. We ended up giving up and going next door to Common Market and buying a bottle of wine. For a place wanting to be known for its elaborate cocktails, they need to make sure they can serve them up timely. The excuses we were given were needing to wash glasses, bar was behind, etc. A new one about every 10 minutes. Unfortunately, we probably won't go back.
Wow! Mouth started to water immediately with the aroma when we walked in. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, seated with in minutes, we did have a reservation though. The service was outstanding. And the food.. well we tried 3 dishes:
The calamari, fried perfectly, seasoned with this asian sauce. They just melted in my mouth.
Must try The Notorious P I.G. Puppies.. large delicious hush puppies served with pulled pork on top honey butter. Delicious
And the scallops..
For dessert we had the Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding with dulce de leche and a tart ice cream, which was the most magical combination in your mouth.
Side note: the music was amazing and on point.
No cocktails this trip because we were focused on food, but definitely need time.
Excellent food experience. Ingenuity, creativity and style. Excellent service to boot.
They are a great home like environment, the people their are individuals. The food is on a different level of flavor. The drink list is almost endless and the mock tails were great.
Except for the noise level. Everything was excellent. it was too loud to hear across the table.
Moms bday and Mother’s Day
Absolutely the best meal I’ve had in a long time. 10+. And incredible affordable prices. GO!
Great service, fun tasty food, nice ambiance
It took us 30 minutes to get our drinks and an hour to get our appetizers. We went somewhere else.
Staff was excellent.
Food was mixed. Excellent gnocchi, calamari, asparagus, carrots.
Average scratch buns and specialty pasta.
Drinks were tasty but stingy - lots of ice to fill the glass.
Bread pudding made with Krispy Kreme donuts was much too sweet.
I had been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint! Went for a date night with my husband. The food and service were excellent. (I highly recommend the ricotta gnocchi.) Excellent cocktail selection and loved that they let me sample it first. Love the decor and overall vibe. Will definitely return!
The atmosphere was fun and inviting, the food was absolutely delicious and impeccably presented, the drinks were creative and delightful, and our service was top-notch! Peter was awesome!
Amazing food and fabulous service. Every worker was super attentive and every bite of food was better than the last.
We had a great experience and our server Peter was amazing. He had spot on recommendations and it felt like we were being taken care of by a friend or family member.
OMG, delicious! Amazing scallops. Plated beautifully. Service couldn’t be better. Will be back!
Too loud for us.....food was tasty & creative.....Bloody Mary was different, but good.
Amazing experience. Exceptional service, food, and environment! We tried almost everything on the menu and everyone loved it.
This was our second visit here. It was just as great as the first. Delicious unique dishes and excellent service.
Super fun. We will be back.
Our waiter, Peter, made our experience at Zeppelin outstanding! He helped us with our orders and gave great advice. We were really impressed.
Wonderful evening on the patio. Great service from Peter. Celebrated a friend’s birthday. Food was delicious!
There are not many choices and nothing we had was delicious. That being said, we felt like we wasted a good chunk of change that could have been spent at a better restaurant.
My birthday celebration but the waitress didn’t recognize even though my group told the staff.
We love brunch and were excited to try out Zepplin. Let me start with the positives: the waiter was excellent and the decor is were awesome. I love that it is a small space with a cozy vibe.
My husband and I were slightly disappointed with the food. The menu was missing a few things for Sunday brunch that was listed on the website. That's ok - they had plenty of good options to choose from - I just had my eye on something from looking before we came. First, came the drinks. They have your typical brunch alcoholic beverages - we tried a Bloody Mary. My husband describes it as "less Bloody Mary-tasting and more like a garden." It was very "eh" for $12. He really likes the Charleston Bloody Mary mix and Bloody Marys that have more of that kick flavor (just to give you an idea of what he likes), and this was not it. It lacked flavor, even though it looked fancy. Do you like coffee for breakfast? They don't have a standard drip option with refills. You coffee options are limited to a $6 Nitro Cold Brew or a $7.25 French press. Now, I love me a good French press, but usually on Sunday morning, I want bottomless caffeine for three bucks. They also did not have any decaf options (not decaf coffee, no hot tea, etc). The waiter was super nice and stated later that they had would add a decaf option for the future. With Common Market next door, they could contract to grab a few tanks of coffee on Sundays if they don't want to commit to a industrial coffee maker. I just thought it was weird to not have regular coffee option.
We split a few options - I thought the french toast was very 'eh' and a little mushy and egg dish was dry and lacked enough of the advertised ingredients. The side potatoes the best thing we had. It wasn't bad by any means, but there are SO many brunch options in the area, that this one does not stand out. The portion sizes were on the smaller size - but big enough that you had enough to eat with no leftovers.
Great drinks, great food, great atmosphere. Perfect for a date night or a low key sophisticated night out with friends. Casual but classy spot.
Great food and service.
