There are not many choices and nothing we had was delicious. That being said, we felt like we wasted a good chunk of change that could have been spent at a better restaurant.

We love brunch and were excited to try out Zepplin. Let me start with the positives: the waiter was excellent and the decor is were awesome. I love that it is a small space with a cozy vibe.

My husband and I were slightly disappointed with the food. The menu was missing a few things for Sunday brunch that was listed on the website. That's ok - they had plenty of good options to choose from - I just had my eye on something from looking before we came. First, came the drinks. They have your typical brunch alcoholic beverages - we tried a Bloody Mary. My husband describes it as "less Bloody Mary-tasting and more like a garden." It was very "eh" for $12. He really likes the Charleston Bloody Mary mix and Bloody Marys that have more of that kick flavor (just to give you an idea of what he likes), and this was not it. It lacked flavor, even though it looked fancy. Do you like coffee for breakfast? They don't have a standard drip option with refills. You coffee options are limited to a $6 Nitro Cold Brew or a $7.25 French press. Now, I love me a good French press, but usually on Sunday morning, I want bottomless caffeine for three bucks. They also did not have any decaf options (not decaf coffee, no hot tea, etc). The waiter was super nice and stated later that they had would add a decaf option for the future. With Common Market next door, they could contract to grab a few tanks of coffee on Sundays if they don't want to commit to a industrial coffee maker. I just thought it was weird to not have regular coffee option.

We split a few options - I thought the french toast was very 'eh' and a little mushy and egg dish was dry and lacked enough of the advertised ingredients. The side potatoes the best thing we had. It wasn't bad by any means, but there are SO many brunch options in the area, that this one does not stand out. The portion sizes were on the smaller size - but big enough that you had enough to eat with no leftovers.

Given the hype, we were expecting a really solid, to above-average experience for our Sunday brunch. My wife ordered the squash frittata, which resembled more of an omelette than a frittata. There is a clear difference between the two. I ordered the fried chicken scratch buns. For $11 I was expecting a rather substantial sandwich. These were glorified "Chicken Minis" that one would get at Chic-fi-la. They weren't bad from a taste perspective, but for $11, it was highway robbery and not filling at all. I did get a side of grits for $4, but that was maybe a cups-worth of food, also expensive in my opinion. Needless to say, I left hungry.

It wasn't a bad experience, but we weren't impressed enough to go back. We were disappointed given the excitement we heard about the place.

Had an excellent dining experience. Peter was our server. He had such knowledge of the food and drink offerings-it was fun to discuss items with him. The food was very good-shared small plates of grilled cabbage, calamari, gnocchi and barrata - hard pressed to choose a favorite. Excellent server and food made for a wonderful experience.

Zeppelin is fun restaurant that you could do as a date night or with a group of friends. The specialty cocktails are fun and delicious. The menu has great options and is not overwhelming. The restaurant is a little loud but not unbearable or impossible to have a conversation. Just because I am mom with young kids, I would not recommend bringing children unless it's an infant that would sleep through the meal. The space is smaller and the tables are close together so no room for a young child to move around.

I really liked the space inside and out. The service was great. Very friendly and engaging wait staff. The food was amazing. We had 6 different dishes and they were all amazing. The only issue was menu prices for food - most are close to $20 for a small plate - which I think is high.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Zeppelin from the decor through the service and food. We started with drinks from their cocktail menu. They were inventive and excellent. I got the trout and my companion got the gnocchi. Both very good. The noise level was not bad. We were actually able to carry on a conversation which is becoming a rarity in Charlotte restaurants. The server was knowledgeable and prompt. Its a great place to relax and have a cocktail or to have a meal.

Came for Queens feast. Although we had made reservations, we still had to wait for a table. Food was very mediocre, small in portion size, extremely slow to come out, and overpriced. I think having gratuity automatically included in the bill is pretentious.

Service was great, however.

Craft cocktail program is superb! Food equally good. We had wonderful service. We had fairly early reservations and it was starting to get a bit loud when we left so it’s possible with a full house it might get a bit noisy.
