   Owned and run by a former server at Saru, this is THE place to go to. The food is amazing, the ambiance lovely & the service really good. The restaurant is just the right size to feel cozy, friendly and approachable. We can’t wait to go back!

   was immediately welcomed server was incredible, food was fast and high quality, got a complimentary dessert on the house for our anniversary as well. Price is reasonable for the quality of the food

   Repeat customers back for another amazing experience. Service was great, they were very understanding of our nephew who needed a little TLC. Fish and food was awesome, menu expansive-- vegetarian in our party ate well. They even lined up a sake flight tasting for us! Neighborhood gem, highly recommended-- we'll be back thank you again!

   Absolutely marvelous culinary experience. The menu is comprehensive, serving unique dishes that are otherwise uncommon to find at most sushi restaurants. The service was excellent; Twan, our server, was very knowledgeable of each dish and was attentive to detail and considerate with dietary restrictions and allergens. The chefs prepared the dishes masterfully with great technique and detail. I will absolutely be returning.

   Absolutely delicious sushi including beautiful presentation! On the pricier side but well worth it. My 9-piece included 9 different items as opposed to some places that repeat.

   Wow. We have had omikase in the best SF restaurants and this is our new favorite. On a rainy night it was tempting to stay in Sausalito and go to our standby Sushi Ran, but so glad we made the drive. Zentarou reminds me of Sushi Ran in its early days: surprising touches, impeccable fish, and stellar service. At bargain (compared to other top places) prices.

   I have been visiting this place frequently since it newly open in our neighborhood. I'm thinking of inviting someone special to the place I love and It has never disappointed me, and everyone I bring enjoys it! All the stuffs are friendly and professional. The appetizers are fantastic, especially the salmon skin salad. The chicken kara-age is perfectly crisp on the outside and tender and well-marinated on the inside. The hamachi kama is huge, and the fresh oysters with ponzu sauce melt in my mouth. All the nigiri is incredibly fresh as well! The chef has a special style that enhances the flavor of fish, making it more outstanding.Uni-ikura don and ochazuke are amazing dishes too. Don’t forget to try their sake, Dasai 23. So gooddddddddd!

    The one of my favorite restaurant in Bay Area . Food always excited they change special fish every time make me feel try new thing I never had my server Bee and Tawan very intelligently about Sake recommend . Zentarou is spot I recommend .
