Great food and great service, surprised this place is not discovered by locals or people visiting. Service is always great, staff is super nice. Food is solid and not too expensive for an on strip experience!
Great food and service
Our meal is was very good. If your looking for some place off the strip and away from noisy crowds this is it. Our waitress did an excellent job making sure all our needs were met.
The Thai Curry and Spaghetti and Meatballs were both were good. My one and only complaint is it is very expensive. The jalapeños pineapple margarita was 22 dollars which is absurd even by Vegas prices. Other than that I would recommend this restaurant to others looking for a quite but close date night restaurant.
We had a lovely experience at Zen Kitchen, so much so that we wished the restaurant was open the following day so that we could go return for another dinner.
First, the food... I ordered the Ahi Poke appetizer, which was different from any Poke appetizer I'd ever had and it was amazing. Sometimes with Poke bowls, the sauce is only on the top and you lose some of the magic as you eat from the top down. This was not the case at Zen Kitchen. Every bite was.so.good. My husband had the caprese salad to start and it was delicious, too. The oil and balsamic were plentiful, so much that there was enough for the final bites of tomato and mozzarella. For our main course, we had the wonton soup and butter chicken - both are some of favorite dishes from our international travels and they did not disappoint. We ordered the Rose from Whispering Angel and it was a fantastic accompaniment our food.
Second, the service... our server, Katherine, timed everything perfectly. We did not feel rushed, nor did we feel like breaks between courses or check ins were too long. She was friendly and welcoming, but not overbearing. Absolutely perfect.
Third, the space... the restaurant is beautiful and comfortable. We were there on a particularly quiet evening (one of their first Sundays open since Covid) and it felt like we had the space to ourselves. We enjoyed the window and the view.
All in all, this was one of our best dining experiences in a long time. Next time that we come to Vegas, we'll definitely hope to return to Zen Kitchen.
The pictures were deceiving. The pictures make it look like a fancy when in fact it was like a regular hotel breakfast place
A little pricy, but overall food was good and very convenient.
The food, service and overall restaurant was excellent!! We are locals and will definitely be back. We went for breakfast but will try lunch or dinner next time.
We wanted to sit and eat without waiting in line, we were late to our reservation but the staff still sat us right away.
We were here for our Anniversary and it was exceptional! The food was incredible. I had the butter chicken and my wife had the Rib eye. The service is excellent and they brought us an amazing desert floor our anniversary!
The experience was strange. We had a very early reservation - 5:30. As of 5:25 there was not one employee setting up. I was told later this is normal. The menu is more limited than I remembered from prior experience, but I might just be remembering it wrong. It took everything a while to get moving. Eventually the meals were served the food was decent but forgettable - I remember it being much better before. Again could be the experience impacting my perception. It seemed that the business wasn’t fully committed to being a fully functional restaurant. No need to follow up - nothing bad happened. I just thought you’d want to know.
Best breakfast in Las Vegas!
I enjoyed the dinner I had for my birthday celebration last weekend! The food tasted really good and hot (made fresh). I even got a free desert for my birthday! Highly recommended!
This was a great restaurant. The food was good, the service was outstanding and it was a nice place to get away from the loudness and craziness of Vegas. I was there for an anniversary and they gave us a free glass of champagne and desserts that were outstanding. I was very thankful for this kind act and because of it I would definitely be coming back. Our server was also very kind and she made great conversation and got lots of laughs out of us. She made the experience a lot better! Overall very good
A very cozy place, their mixed drinks are not very good, my food was not what I ordered, I did not want to order anything else and we left
Our server Eric & the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary dinner an unforgettable experience
Food was excellent and our server Erick was great!!!
Menu did not have many gluten free options.
They were out of many of their side options.
Great service with quality food. From the main menu options to dessert, the quality is superb. The different servers we had were amazing and kept my glass full. Usually, you can tell how well trained and caring your server is by how quickly you receive your drink within 2 minutes of sitting down and how well they "keep it full."
The name, Zen Kitchen, isn't simply just a name for the sake of motif and their music selection. It is a description of the experience you will have.
I have had breakfast at other similar style hotels, but I was greatly impressed with my service. I had better service here than at some of the super-premium restaurants at some the major casinos in LAS.
However, a forewarning for first time customers; book reservation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner or you will be at the mercy of fate.
Kudos again to the management, servers, and cooks. They all care very much about your experience and it shows.
What a great break from all the noise of the rest of the strip. The food was so good and we felt like we got a respite there and will be coming back every time we’re in Vegas and need a quiet lovely break from the chaos!
Service was great & the food was amazing!
Poke bowl and burger were perfect in every way!
Place was very quite especially considering the location!
Excellent food l, drinks & service. Highly recommended.
It was our last night in Vegas. We chose Zen Kitchen because it looked beautiful online. It did not disappoint. It was a quiet atmosphere. Our server was delightful and most helpful. At the end of our meal they brought us an anniversary dessert since we were celebrating 10 years. They also brought us expresso. Great experience!
Food was great but service was so so
Sushi and poke fresh and flavorful. Entrees offered a variety of different asian influences. Service was attentive and prompt. Highly recommended.
AMAZING! service was great, our server was nice and the food… great! Best way to spend a hungover morning with some ZEN 🙏🏼
They had practically zero Gluten free items. Staff was amazing, of course there were literally 3 tables being used in the whole restaurant.
Under Pat doe WA
Very disappointed overall
Selected Zen for Mother's Day and it was a great choice! Small, intimate dining area with a really diverse ala carte menu. Everything from juices to egg dishes to chicken and waffles plus a continental breakfast! Service was very attentive, the pace was leisurely and the food was wonderful. Glad we found the Zen and I would definitely go back.
The restaurant is located inside the Waldorf Astoria. We were passing through town and staying for one night and decided to try this place. First the hotel told us there were no reservations. Then we found an open time on Open Table.
The restaurant was never even half full for the 1.5 hours that we were there so I’m unsure why we couldn’t get a table through the hotel in the first place.
The ambiance was okay. Felt more like a high end cafeteria than a high restaurant.
The food was good! This was a high mark for the restaurant. Delicious meals and our sever was also attentive.
There were several noisy patrons seated next to us. I had to say something to get to them to quiet down. That should have been handled by the staff.
Good but not great. I would recommend only out of convenience or if you had no other choice.
The appetizers and salads come out quickly and were delicious. The main course took a long time and half of our orders were cold and we sent them back.
Not what I expected. Food was very mid-level. The food didn't taste good for either me or my wife. Service took longer than expected but they were kind. Could for sure improve on music. The music is supposed to be zen but if more than 1 person is in the restaurant than all you can hear is the person because it's on very low volume
Ate breakfast with my husband. It was wonderful! The service was great and attentive without being intrusive. I had the Keto omelet with roasted tomatoes and bacon. Yummy! My husband had the regular eggs, also good. Everyone at Waldorf is so friendly and helpful.
Nothing to rave about. Food was average for a hotel restaurant in Vegas.
Gorgeous place, wonderful service, amazing food. Will definitely recommend to others.
No Sushi, Order rib eye med-rare and we got it med so sent it back again and then this time got it well done. Bar only basic well drinks, no good rums, scotch vodkas. This place was more of a 1 star place not what I would expect from a Waldorf Astoria. It takes 2 minutes to update web site but I guess customer service is not what they are after. As a local I will never return, I hope visitors read this before they go so they know what to expect.
Eat some where else. Eataly is next door.
Good food. Great service! Definitely come back again.
One of my favorites
Prices are high, however the food is some of the finest
