Zen Kitchen - Waldorf Astoria, Las Vegas
Vegan and Gluten-Free options are available.
overpriced and small portions. nice atmosphere and good service.
Made last minute plans with my boyfriend here. The only complaint I had was it was cold in the restaurant but the experience of a quiet dining experience, an amazing waiting staff, and they accommodated my gluten free dietary needs!!
Wonderful restaurant with nice view, food and great service, highly recommend.
Food and service were excellent however, it's rather pricey for portion size on some entrees.
Amazing simply amazing
Great ambiance, quiet, nice decoration, sutil. Very in concordance with the name, very Zen. Lovely. Great food, not too expensive.
Delicious food and great service! The green curry is to die for!
Takes forever for food and service to arrive. Understaffed. Food is average. Buffet does not replenish food as often and lots of items don't get replaced at all. If I wasn't staying at the hotel I would never be back
Their website and Open Table description says they have elegant Thai and Indian food. Instead they have a limited menu of vanilla American food and wnes, exorbitantly overpriced. False advertising , skip the place
Eric was an excellent waiter, very knowledgeable and attentive. But I was incredibly disappointed by the food. We had the fritto misto and it was bland and over cooked. I had the sea bass, also very bland and overlooked. My date had the short rib that was dry and came with some disgusting sauce they called a gravy. We also got an order of whipped potatoes and asparagus- the potatoes had zero flavor and the asparagus tasted they weren’t even washed. The highlight of the entire meal was the orea cheesecake desert. It was frustrating, as select once nice place every year to enjoy in Vegas and this was the worst we have ever had.
Fabulous and attentive service. Sushi was top tier. Will go back.
The food was fresh, delicious and creative. A convenient location to grab a bite for breakfast and head out to the pool or strip.
Great Food Fantastic service.
Love the ambiance.
They did surprise me with a great Dessert with was very nice and thoughtful of them.
Best in Vegas.
Went to visit for Restaurant Week (benefits 3 Square Food Bank) and ordered the fixed price bento box. It was delicious! Everything was presented beautifully, and the seasoning was just right. We'll definitely be coming back!
I went for dim sum and they no longer serve it for lunch. Wasted my time.
Excellent setting for a business meal! Food was delicious and atmosphere was extremely comfortable and quiet enough for long, important conversations.
- great great service and delicious food!
The Food was quite good. It's a dim sum place but they were not serving dim sum that night because they were out of ingrediants, or so we were told.
The place was empty on a night during ICSC. It felt like it was midnight and the staff wanted to go home instead of 8pm. Service should have been a lot better given we were a table of 6 and the only 2 occupied tables were singles.
Not enough value for the price point. The restaurant got the job done, staff was courteous and effecient, food was good, but at that price point there are too many restaurants in Las Vegas that will not just simply get the job done, but also have a “wow” factor.
The service was absolutely terrible. Not at all what you would expect from a iconic brand as "Waldorf Astoria" and the food not much better.
To there credit I give them a c+ for trying to resolve our complaint. Rather than comping our check they negotiated a discount, again not what you would expect from the brand.
We had to bus our table on 3 occasions and the food for 3 of our entries was barely warm. One entrée was so bad it was returned for something different.
This was just a very substandard meal from beginning to end and a total check of over $400 we expected better.
For such an overpriced menu I didn’t feel like the quality of food was good. For one, charging 4 dollars to add fruits to oatmeal is ridiculous and unheard of. Not to mention our service was poor. There was a table of 4 individuals with more food than we ordered that was seated well after us and got serviced and received their food before us. I would have liked to give more stars but I was disappointed in how my friends and I were served.
In a city with so much to choose from, Zen is too pricey and too ordinary. The property is beautiful, but the restaurant does not follow suit. "OK" is just not enough. Cut the price, or step up...
I expected a little more from this restaurant. The presentation was average and the sushi was very basic. It was also pretty quiet when we went and didn’t seem to be a hot spot. The service was great, however the menu could have had more unique options. I am always looking for something a little more exciting in Vegas.
The service was terrible. They first tried to substitute a higher priced wine then we ordered, then they didn’t even clear our plates after we were done. We pod the bill with a huge stack of plates on our table. Service was slow.
Was fairly empty so noise level was low, nice views. Food was good but not great.
I have choosen this restaurant for their dimsum and Japanese food which look somptuous on their website.
I like this restaurant for his quietness, no loud music.
I wanted to love this restaurant.
But I am so disappointed by my Dimsum bento.
Almost everything was not good in this bento, over cooked and not good taste.
It left me upset and in bad mood of taking calories for not good food.
My husband had a Japanese bento.
It was good, but not unforgettable .
To us, we will remember to not come anymore.
Food was not very good. Drinks were expensive. Our waiter was extremely nice.
The place the ambiance was great ! Food was very good ! The halibut and the wagyu steak was perfect ! Calamari tempura was very good lightly breaded and crispy although the fried chicken was a disappointment ! Price wise a lil over the top for a cup of coffee for 7 bucks ! Other thsn that we had a great time !
We opted for window seating. Our pictures came out bad because the windows are dirty. Perhaps they can prioritize cleaning the outside of the windows because guests will be sitting there?
My Indian chicken was delicious, but super hot and spicy. It took a while for it to cool down so I can enjoy it. My watermelon juice had an odd taste at the end. The misses says it's Chile, but I don't think so.
Dramatic reduction in the quality of food - with the change in ownership. The Waldorf can sure learn from what the Mandarin Oriental had ..
Quinoa breakfast dish was outstanding.
Very relaxing - food is excellent and service is very attentive
Delicious buffet breakfast. It was nice to have eggs custom made a part of an option versus just the premade eggs.
The food was unimaginable and a bit bland. We really, really wanted to love this place. When an appetizer is refrigerator-cold inside and has to be remade correctly, one would expect to have it comped, especially for being a hotel quest. Chairs were uncomfortable. Great views were a redeeming quality. Decor felt more Four Points than Four Seasons. Service was above average and friendly and knowledgable.
Dinner menu was varied and seemed interesting. Execution was poor. Overcooked shrimp and octopus. Flavorless dal and butter chicken. And, the signature Waldorf salad was average tasting at best.
Love the gluten free menu options!
First time dining here and we had a very nice experience. The green curry had a nice spice level, but if you like it a little hotter, they do provide you with a side bowl of peppered oil, which I used. The wonton noodle soup did not have a big flavor, rather ordinary. Service was very good and it was a nice atmosphere for lunch
Kind of a blah restaurant & menu for Waldorf I thought it would have a much more extensive menu.. Seems like it was all plain dishes
The food was outstanding and the service was great!
