   Although we had made a reservation a week in advance and there were at least 10 empty tables in the dining area, they tried to seat us at the only high table in the room. They claimed this was the only table available according to the reservation order. We explained that we had booked in advance for a nice lunch at a regular table and did not want to sit on high stools, but we had to explain the situation to three different staff members and wait standing in the dining room for five minutes. Eventually, they agreed to seat us at a regular table—on the condition that we could only stay for one hour (!). Needless to say, this unpleasant start affected our overall experience. Such a beautiful place could offer a much more enjoyable experience if it had more welcoming and considerate staff.

   We love this restaurant and the staff are so friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and wonderfully presented.

   As always (we dine here once a year), the overall experience is so nice. Food is excellent (also for gluten free, like me), service and friendlyness of the staff is lovely. The food looks good and tastes even better. Good choices of wine, with great explanation. The ambiance is lovely, at the moment Christmass decorations are in gold, very refined. Lots of twinkly Christmass lights in the garden. We'll be back next year!
