My experience at Zed 451 was okay. I had a good time with the company I was with however, the service was lackluster at best. The person designated to serve us presented as though he did not want to be there. I am not sure if it was a busy night for him or that he was having a rough day, but if my experience depended on the service from this particular waiter alone I would be very unhappy.
Outstanding quality of the steaks and excellent service. Little busy for restaurant week 2020 but probably because they had one of the best deals on town!
The meats just melt in your mouth! The buffet was alright, but you come for the table side service, not the buffet. The bar service was great while we waited for our table and had the best lounge area with a fire pace to warm us up! Definitely going to come back!
Food good as usual, great service, nice atmosphere. We enjoyed the evening.
The restaurant was empty and bringing something requested took too long. The guy that brought the meats was not friendly and made faces when something was asked. Not always the meats were not cooked as requested. No desserts were available that night. They were cooking the desserts they told us. They brought for dessert a mix of whatever was left without asking. Not a good experience. Our host was very friendly and attentive at least.
The time between meats was way too long 15-20+ mins. It was difficult to get out serves attention

The service was amazing! Our only complaint was our cuts of meats at times being served was still quite raw and had to ask multiple times for another cut that is more done or wait. But over all it was an amazing experience from our server Layla.

My stepdad's food had some sort of wire in it. I was so upset. It was his first time there and the wire ruined everything. Looks like the wire may have been from the ham that was inside the pinto beans. Also not to mention the glasses were dirty. My water glass had old lipstick on it. Yuck !

Bad. Very Disappointing.
It was not our first visit there. We loved this place. We even had our wedding there! We have been there for New Year's Eve dinner 2 years ago and it was amazing as always. But this time was very different from others and very disappointing. I have posted detailed review on Yelp.

This place was amazing. The salad bar was delicious with 6 specialty salads, a make your own salad station, hearty soups, and a tasty spread of charcuterie. The meat selection was expansive, I especially loved the sauces that were served with each. It really helped to elevate the meats. Great wine selection, and the decor inside was exquisite with beautiful wood architecture and a roaring fire as the centerpiece. Highly recommend!

This was my third time and first time for three of my group. The food was amazing in every aspect. With the favorite foods for my guests being the tuna, the Moroccan chicken, and pork belly. We also ordered a pitcher of the apple sangria and it was spectacular. Made for a great pre-theater/christmas with friends meal.

Great salads & charcuterie. Was beyond expectations.
Tried a little of everything g that came by, some were better than others but found ones that were delicious and had more of those.
Staff was attentive and service was quick but did not feel rushed.
Ambience was great.

We went to Zed451 for my mother's birthday anticipating that they'd have a variety of appetizers, sides and meats. (She's been there for brunch and loved it!) To our dismay, they no longer serve sides for dinner and their appetizer/salad selection was scarce at best. We ultimately decided to leave the restaurant early-- the waitress was EXTREMELY accommodating and understood completely. I truly appreciate the wonderful waitstaff, but was sadly disappointed by the dining experience.
Amazing as always. Great selection of meats. Server catered to and took special care of someone in my party who has a food allergy.
Ribeye / caramelized onions and BBQ chicken thighs were the best.

Service was excellent. Ambiance was beautiful.
All the meat was tasty and good.
But the salad bar wasn’t as good as other steakhouses. And I’m used to other steakhouses having side dishes brought to your table to go along with the meat and seafood.
So a little disappointing with the salad bar spread and no side dishes brought to our table like, mashed potatoes, rice, beans, etc.

The truth is, we underestimated the love our guests had for our sides, and will be bringing them back in the new year. This is the best Brazilian style restaurant in Chicago. Everything is delicious. It’s a little more expensive, but worth it. Beautiful restaurant bested only by the quality of food.

I was unsatisfied with the variety of menu items. The buffet had 1 soup, a few cheeses and meats, a few additional items. I expected more variety at the salad bar. The food ran out, or was at it's last, and was not served very hot. The meat was very good though, for what was available. The service was great, we were always attended to. I would not go to this restaurant again, as other similar restaurants with this dining style (churrascaria) have a much better variety and better tasting.

One of my favorite places to go for a absolutely lovely weekend brunch or after work drink on the rooftop! I’ve even had a private party here for a after wedding brunch which everyone loved! The service at ZED451 is top notch as well. Well worth your money.

We went on Thanksgiving, so I understand it's a holiday. But the restaurant seemed well staffed, so there shouldn't have been delays. The server really only takes care of drinks and checks in. Our drinks were very slow to come. We usually had half finished the course when the drinks arrived. The side dishes were cold and frankly nasty tasting. The cornbread stuffing was sugary. The meat servers came by sporadically, and we wound up having to request servers to come over. We were only offered steak and chicken once and not offered turkey at all. Again, we had to keep requesting, and it felt like we were inconveniencing staff. The salmon server came by often, so I give him that. The salad bar was nice. The deserts were hardened from sitting out so long. The plus side: the fire place in the bar was nice to sit by. It was fairly affordable, but not for the quality and quantity.

We had a very early brunch and there were not a lot of people there, so that kind of delineated from the usual excitement of seeing the proteins being walked around the room. Harvest tables were wonderful as usual. We miss the cinnamon rolls coming to the table as in the past. But still one of our favorite places for brunch.

I never do reviews but after my recent visit with my wife for our anniversary dinner I have to say everything was pretty much perfect. Our hostess was so nice and made our experience very enjoyable. Will def come back in the future. Oh the food was just fantastic

Food was very good and the restaurant is beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like was that they no longer have mash potatoes and the charred corn. Those were two of the main reasons I chose Zed 451 over Texas De Brazil. Was a little disappointed as it was for my boyfriend’s birthday. Overall everything was good, Chefs were amazing and our host Laila was very nice and attentive and did great for the bday surprise.

This was a first time experience for myself and my party was great. We brought my aunt here for her birthday and she loved it.Our waiter Fernando was amazing pretty much the whole staff. The cook Cory who brought out the variety of different steaks was great he explained the different kinds of steaks and seasoning and how long it has been marinated for. We like the different choices of food and it was enough to get full. We didn’t feel rushed . The staff checked on us several times to see if we needed anything which was great. The fire pit with the high chair tables is a really nice seating. We will return again.
