Food and service was great!! Have been here a couple times before and it never disappoints.
We went to celebrate my daughter’s college graduation.
Zazu is our favorite restaurant in Auburn. We are sad that we won’t be in Auburn any longer to enjoy ZaZu. Only a 2 hour drive away so who know’s, we might make a roadtrip.
Great service & food, even during a very busy graduation weekend!
I always bring my out of town guests and family here.. such a gem!
Anniversary brunch. It was a great experience-definitely going back
Super. Will be back. Great food. Great beer list.
We love the brunch menu at Zazu. It was a beautiful day to enjoy brunch outside on their balcony. Food is always delicious.
We walked in and was seated immediately. We arrived about 10 mins before our reserved time. The tables were spaced out and it was a nice place. Low lighting and the historical elements were nice. The food came fast and was delicious. The only complaint is that my New York Strip had a lot of fat on it. It was beautifully cooked otherwise. The sweet potato ad zucchini were good. My husband had Mahi-mahi and he enjoyed it. We will definitely be going back.
Zazus is my comfort food. Never disappointed 💕
Great ambience with great food. Server was attentive and extremely cordial.
Surpasses expectations. Delicious and great service. Would recommend in a heartbeat!!
The food was delicious and fresh. The service was excellent. Best food in the area. We love Zazu
This is the most charming restaurant! Several levels of dining are available as well as an outdoor area. There are two bar areas too. The menu had a variety of choices and the food was delicious! I had the Shrimp & Grits and my husband had the Cheeseburger w/ a Salad. Highly recommend!
Zazu continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in Lee County. The food is delicious and the ambiance is wonderful.
We had brunch on Easter Sunday. There were 4 of us and 3 meals were perfect, but the meal that wasn't was the Fried Chicken Sandwich. The chicken was too large to be part of a sandwich and the flavors were just not great. This dish definitely needs some work.
Wonderful food. We both had fish, bronzini and amberjack and they both were delicious.
Great meal. Great service. Great ambiance.
Zazu’s is definitely on the dining rotation from now on!
First visit to a restaurant since COVID pandemonium and it was well worth the wait. John, the waiter, was attentive without being intrusive. Blackened mahi over grits was excellent. Signature bread pudding tasted better than I remembered.
We had a great meal, drinks, and time to talk. We were disappointed twice when we ordered and Katrina, the waitress, returned to tell us they were out of daily catch and another menu item, after Katrina had taken the time to describe and tell us how good each item was. Better communication between chef with wait staff about availability would have alleviated this issue. Overall we did enjoy the night out and ambiance. We love downtown Opelika!
Arrived 20 minutes early and was seated right away! Great food with a limited menu. They were out of the fish but the dish we got instead was fantastic. Definitely eating here again
Me and wife had a date night and was very impressed with the cleanliness and the food was great !!
Absoluty fantastic food and service! Extremly clean and sanitized. Was a great date night!
Selected Zazu as a place to meet some dear friends we have known for over 32 years. They were traveling from Colorado through Alabama and I chose this restaurant as our rendezvous spot. We have visited Zazu several times when our daughter was attending Auburn and it never disappoints. Thanks for helping to make the meal and the reunion special.
It was freezing! But our waitress was amazing
Food was very good. Started with the spinach salad which is always very good. I had the Bronzini which was delicious. Hubby had the mahi with a wonderful sauce, which incorporated Conecuh sausage. Yum! Our friends had brisket which looked excellent and they both enjoyed their dish. Bread pudding for dessert was good and the caramel sauce was heaven! Would like to see a couple more options for appetizers, especially when ordering wine and cocktails to enjoy with friends. Best part of the evening was our server Kaitlyn - professional and attentive without being intrusive. She was friendly and made our experience at Zazu all the more pleasant (kind of like that caramel sauce)!
Wonderful food, great atmosphere. Always enjoy eating here.
We always love eating at Zazu
Wonderful dining experience! Would definitely recommend!
The pastrami reuben was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten!
Very quaint old historic building that made for a perfect dinner setting. Every dish our party of 3 had was exceptional quality and taste. We can’t wait to go back next time we are in town and try the menu they have that month.
I like this place quite a bit but it is really loud. Very cool looking restaurant but very open so conversations carry a long way. I will go back, no doubt
The food was very good. The price and Food portions were perfect. Zazus is definitely the best restaurant in Auburn and Opelika.
Great brunch menu!
We loved it!
It was wonderful. Our server was very quick to get our orders. I got the brisket and my husband got a burger with duck fat fries! Both are highly recommended!! The beer prices were great, and they had many options! The bread pudding looked amazing-too full to get any.
Great food, decor and atmosphere. I had the Mahi which was very good. The restaurant has 3 levels/stairs so if you have problems with stairs, may want to request a lower level.
Zazu was fantastic. We frequent Zazu often, but had family in town and it was their first time. I had the blackened fish, which I thought was expensive, but it was completely worth the price. The service was great too!
We eat here often. It’s legit good.
Wonderful dinner, can't wait to go back. Open table no hassle reservation.
