Zarella, a neighborhood pizzeria and taverna from Boka Restaurant Group, is located on the bustling corner of Grand and Wells in the heart of River North. Chef Partners Chris Pandel (Swift & Sons, Cira, Swift & Son’s Tavern) and Lee Wolen (Boka, Alla Vita, GG’s Chicken Shop) have come together to craft a menu featuring a mix of tavern-style and artisan pizzas, an array of entrées and small bites, as well as fresh salads, alongside an ever-rotating menu of Italian specialties, promising a dining experience that is both nostalgic and unique.

                                                                                                                                                Another great experience at Zarella… Our server, Evann, was phenomenal and friendly and sweet as can be. She took the time to explain the menu and pizza types to my first time dining guest….we enjoyed the gigantic beans appetizer and the amazing Sunday Salad…and devoured two tavern pizzas, the delicious mushroom and pepperoni pizza and margherita pizza. We dipped both in the honey and couldn’t believe it made them taste even better….it’s no wonder why it’s so hard to get a table any day of the week…we’ll be back!! Thanks Evann😘

We were down in tavern area which has very low lighting so flashlight may be required :) we enjoyed both the tavern style and the artisan crust. Attentive and friendly staff. We will come back for sure.
