Our server was a pro- she was comfortable and didn't crowd us or leave us hanging. Rack of lamb is one of the best things you could eat in Bakersfield. I love the whole vibe, we went for a late dinner and even close to closing we weren't made to feel like they wanted us out soon. Was even courteous to give a last-call for anything. It was my birthday and the little corn cake was very good and unique. Can't complain! I only wish they ran ads again because I always forget they are an option when we're picking places to eat!

Second time here. First time was great. Second time the food was ok, drinks were great, but service was very disappointing. Waitress did not look happy to help us, barely made eye contact, never checked on us, and didn’t even give us the bill. When we were ready to pay she just asked for our payment and scanned the card. We had to ask to see the bill. Probably won’t visit again.

The cocktails were delicious! The food was ok, it lacked flavor as in needing more seasoning. The price point was high but the design of the place and the decor was very nice. I would only recommend to a friend that is looking for a nice place to have a drink at or to go on a really nice date.

This is a lovely restaurant for dates and special occasions, and the menu has many exciting and appealing choices. My girlfriend and I would come back, though I would suggest that they take down some of the screens playing music videos on the wall, as those can be pretty distracting during dinner.

Overall good. Appetizers needed a bit of salt. Ribeye was fantastic. I’ve got it twice and both times it was cooked perfect. Took another longer cause they sent my steak to another table but they made up for it. It’s all good 😁

We loved our experience here for our anniversary dinner. The food was delicious and the ambience of the restaurant was amazing. Very romantic setting for anyone on a date night. We highly recommend this place, because we loved it.

Zama is great. We've been there several times. Serve staff always prompt and friendly. Lots of folks stopping by and seeing if everything ok, anything needing busing, etc. Energetic vibe. Highly recommend.

Food didn’t wow us. It’s hard to have some of the best Mexican food from a truck and then have a high expectation for overly priced Mexican food which just disappointed. Food is t terrible just not worth the price for what your getting. Service was amazing and drinks were amazing. Ambience was A+. I would love to see Zama up their culinary efforts. They have potential.

The cocktails we got were really good and my husband got the Cochinita dish for dinner and it was so good! I got the carnitas and it wasn’t my favorite.. not a long of flavor but overall the atmosphere and food was good!

Food was decent. Out of everything we order, the flautas was the best. Shared the lamb chops and the sauce that it came with didn't pair well. It was a cauliflower puree. Drinks were delicious, best thing at the restaurant. Service was good, up until it came to the end of our meal. They asked to take our plates and the gentleman that was taking our plates was approached by another person and they were whispering to each other about our table and made things awkward. After their discussion they looked at us and left awkardly. Then another gentleman and woman approached the table and asked if we'd like our plates to cleared out, we said yes..then they just abruptly collected all of our plates, water, and cups. My friend then asked them if we were being kicked out, and the guy responded "no" awkwardly. He then said "we like to keep our customers tables clean before they have dessert". Then he asked if we wanted more water, but we responded no because they've already taken our cups. He apologized for taking our water, but left the water canister on the table. We wanted to try the dessert there,but due to the awkwardness,and the feeling of being kicked out, we decided to pay and leave. We were only there for less than 1hr and half. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, presentation of food and drinks are beautiful, but due to our experience towards the end, this place would be our first and last for us.

Lamb chops were absolutely amazing, service was prompt and friendly. Mole was delish es as well. They even did a dessert with happy anniversary written on it which was delicious.

Went for mother's day...even though had reservations, our table wasn't ready and had to wait...the waiter was running around and had to wait long to get service. Music was too loud. Probably wouldn't go there again.

Brunch is not worth it. The pictures look amazing on IG, but breakfast is not great. The green chilaquiles are extremely sour, the sauce seems to be canned not fresh.

The restaurant is very nice. Im not sure if the aesthetic and over all vibe of the restaurant created a high expectation but the service execution was below average. Drinks and food were extremely delayed. Several plates arrived semi-warm. Overall: great building, beautiful bathrooms, comfortable seating, ok food, slow service. If you have time to spare, give it a try.
