I had the Chicken Shawarma rice bowl and a glass of Altitude Ixsir Blanc from Lebanon Both were delicious and excellent

One of our Worst Experiences ever. Celebrating a special occasion, made reservation way in advance, reached there before time and saw walk-ins were being welcomed and seated before us. When i inquired on the status, was rudely told you came early for your reservation and will have to wait till then (While other 4 couples and 2 families were walk-ins who were seated in the in 20 minute that i waited). 4 minutes before our reservation time, we were escorted to one of the most hideous corners of the entire restaurant behind the wall as if trying to tuck us away from sight. When I requested to be re-seated somewhere else as i saw 3 tables that would exactly house our party of four, I was blatantly told No and the concierge trying to share their policy and operation. Aside from this, two folks, concierge and the waitress checked with us on what sp. occasion we are celebrating. We shared with them .. the there was no effort to make any attempt to celebrate from their side while we saw a table in front of us being celebrated for a member's Birthday. Well the food was hit and miss. Two of our items were fantastic and two were so horrible that i am still suffering from loose motions a day later. (Uncooked/Partially Cooked Falafels were the culprit and Roasted Cauliflower was a let down as well). Two good things were Mushroom Hummus and Whipped Feta. Overall, they did not make any effort worthwhile. I would Highly discourage folks from considering this place. The writing was on the wall, Saturday night, Walk-ins were being seated faster than the reservations, empty tables, but more than anything, worst staff. I overheard Concierge taking up my concerns with the manager and I saw him Shrug his shoulders and moved on.... If anyone is considering Zakia, move on. there are better places in Buckhead and Atlanta then this one.

We tried the hummus with eggplant and tomato. It was delicious. Next course was the grilled octopus. The best one I’ve ever had followed by the roasted beet salad and lamb and beef kebab. We finished off with the baklava. The service was great. Drinks were great. We will definitely come back. This is a beautiful restaurant.

We went heavily for the appetizers and each one was better than the last in particular the grilled octopus and the whipped feta. The mains also did not disappoint, meat was tasty and juicy, veggies were well seasoned and fresh. To top it all off we had a marvelous server. If you can get Pearl, grab her! Try the cocktails each one we ordered was a tasty version of the cocktails we know.
