Everything was excellent!! Server was the best in Boston!! Can’t wait to comeback!!
New favorite restaurant. The best overall dining experience from the moment we walked in, throughout a sumptuous meal, to the ladies room, and a nightcap on the sofa in the bar area. The staff is wonderful!
You must try.
Be advised you do have to walk a few blocks to get there so dress for the outdoors.
Seated close to my friend in a cramped corner space. We're tall so it wasn't comfortable.
Had a wonderful evening at Yvonnes. Great cocktail menu, lovely Gin and Tonic. Service was good and food was different and interesting and perfect to share. Really vibrant restaurant and bar. Would highly recommend
We were greeted by warm hostesses and seated immediately(made a reservation). The ambiance and decor is very cool! They have a great drink selection and the food was delicious. We ordered, tater tots, hummus, chicken meatballs, and lamb+sausage pita. The only thing that was lacking was our waitress. She didn’t introduce herself nor did she have any enthusiasm. She didn’t once ask “ how is everything” . We will definitely return and I would highly recommend.
Really, really delicious small plates and cocktails. Average pita/flatbread-- surprisingly average. But the rest of the food made up for it.
We had a great time. Very hip. Great cocktails and atmosphere. Our food was really good!
Love this place!
Sexy club right out of a movie. Bartender Eddie makes great drinks. The chicken quinoa meatballs are out of this world. Creative, balanced cocktail program.
We had a ball at Yvonne’s. Treated like queens for our birthdays.
This place is incredible. The other customers are super snotty
Great atmosphere. Yummy food. Friendly, responsive wait staff.
Hard to locate for first time. Should put info about parking garage on Open Table confirmation email.
What a great experience. We were over impressed with the Quality of food and the Service. Will be returning again soon!
I brought my mom to Yvonne's on a Monday night for dinner and we had the BEST experience!!! Thank you for being the NICEST staff, everything was SO amazing, special shout out to our server Aaron who treated us like queens! I knew the atmosphere and cuisine would be top notch but the customer appreciation treatment was outstanding. Cannot recommend Yvonne's and all of the COJE management group restaurants enough :)
The service was absolutely amazing, the food was delightful, and the ambiance brought it all together.
Our server was incredible (as was the food, obviously) but I wanted to note the level of service we received. Not only did we get a personalized recommendation and an honest assessment of how much food we would need, but the server and I were able to concoct a surprise birthday dessert for my friend.
First time as Yvonne's for dinner. I was happy to see many remnants of Locke Ober restored to their former glory. The menu is highly unusual as to the formats of food offered. The appetizers and desserts were straightforward but the "social plates" and "feasts" took some consulting with the staff. The food has amazingly strong (in a good way) flavors. Nobody got confused as to what they were tasting , and all we're pleased with the octopus, tuna, crab et al. The specialty drinks are many and varied. I would go back just to try more of these drinks listed on the menu. Overall, a very pleasant experience for Saturday night dinner. We will be back.
Fabulous space, gracious staff. 5 stars!!!
The food at Yvonne's is the best I have ever had. Period.
We were a party of two for a special occasion. The decor and ambiance are truly phenomenal. Our server took the time to explain every dish and drink we ordered, while we were contemplating ordering it and once it was presented. We had a wonderful time and you will too.
Make a reservation to go to Yvonne's and spend a luxurious time there. It is well worth it.
This was my birthday outing and my first time there since Lock Ober was closed. We really loved the ambiance. Service was ok, not bad but ok. We opted for a couple of social plates and crispy tuna fregola (fried tuna) for 2. Personally, I don't believe in frying sushi grade tuna, but wanted to give it a try. Came out rather unevenly sliced on a very large bed of 89% fregola (Israeli couscous) with remaining 11% split between arugula, roasted cauliflower, few green olives and pine nuts. Calabrian chili dipping sauce was tasty. Thought presentation could have been a bit more elegant. Still don't believe tuna should be fried. Although, everything was fresh and pretty tasty, I am not 100% convinced I can call it a fine dining experience. I guess my expectations were a bit too high. As a lounge it's great. If you are looking for more sophistication and a foodie-geared experience, I would not recommend it.
The staff are to notch and the atmosphere and vibe are fantastic for a fun night out. Had the ribeye to share and it was unexceptional and served with cold bland potato wedges and parsley - nothing else. Devoid of color. No nearly as good as prior dining experiences. Flatbread and salad were unremarkable as well. The cocktails, ambiance, mood, and completely attentive wait staff still made for a great night out with friends but the food for the price was underwhelming.
Great experience, nice serves, beautiful ambiance, and good food
Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. The food was AMAZING. One of the drinks was not great but besides that, 5 stars.
Funky and Fun. Loud . I was there with my 20 something kids celebrating a big b-day. The sharing dishes, both the small plates and the "feasts" are made and prepared and served to encourage sharing, which is so much fun. This allows for multiple tastes of unique dishes. I commend the chef and the service was perfect. Also they worked hard to accommodate GF preferences and knew when it wasn't possible.
Small plates dishes Tuna Crudo and Trumpet Mushrooms are among the best I’ve ever had. Drinks are super—spicy tequila is deliciously paired with almond and soda in a unique “fireworks”cocktail. Servers are friendly and intelligent. Atmosphere is uber chic and lively. Very cool place, amazing food, well dressed crowd. Love it!
Best evening I have spent in Boston. Loved the vibe. Great food and service. Crowd was good as well. It is dark so if going in the summer could seem to be a little too grim. Would go regardless and plan to go again
As soon as we sat down we were told that if we wanted to have drinks after we finished eating we would have to be moved. We ordered food and drinks and after having two drinks each, the waitress told us she couldn’t serve us any more alcohol. We were confused as we were the quietest table in the restaurant and were by no means acting out of line. When I spoke to the manager, he said that he did not like the speed at which we drank our second drink, and when I pointed to the other tables with cocktail pitchers on them he didn’t have an answer. He then sent the bouncer to watch over us as we ate. We were all extremely uncomfortable and paid, left a note saying we felt disrespected, and then left. As we were walking out, another table stopped us and asked us why we were “rude” to the waitress. The fact that she was talking to other guests is appalling. I have never felt so mistreated and uncomfortable in my life in any restaurant in the world. I own restaurants and would never allow anything of the sort. I am bewildered at the rudeness.
This was not the Yvonne's I knew previously..........Cool scene and decent food, but the service has gone so far down hill that it changes the entire dining experience. Service used to be a big part of what made this place special. The waitstaff (my waitress was Sophie) has become so sub par (rude, snooty, and pretentious) that it's painful paying your bill knowing that you're paying fine dining prices for such terrible service. Oh well, too many other great spots around town to be wasting the cash here.
Great food and service but really loud.
I truly enjoyed the atmosphere, the crowd, the experience. If we had stopped after our first two “small plates,” I would have raved about this place. However, the second round of tapas were major misses. The flavors weren’t cohesive and the presentation was mediocre. Service was adequate but not stellar. Overall, I’d go back in a heartbeat, but it isn’t going to be my new favorite restaurant.
Just overall excellent. It’s a really neat environment.
Fabulous meal and service both at the bar and during dinner. Will definitely come back!
Yvonne's is the swankest celebrity spotting bar in town. It also has outstanding cocktails- The Penicillin is my favorite. The food is innovative and, remarkably, quiet reasonably priced. If you are looking to impress someone, or to meet someone who is a little classier that the downtown regular, this is your hip spot. Extra fun, extra credit tip: The Godfrey is around the corner with rates starting in the $100 range and overnight valet. Why drink and drive? Just move the party.
Excellent! The food, drinks and ambience was excellent, the dinning room was gorgeous. Overall my evening at Yvonne’s was beautiful,it’s my favorite for now
Food was delicious and the service was also very good. Perfect place in the city to dine.
They only allow us to spend 1 hour for the dinner, and then transfer us to another table. I don't like it.
It was great
Wow! Everything was top notch, Not the least of which was the design of the place. You could spend an hour here and not eat, and go away happy. The food is spectacular as well, small plates that spam the globe. We had nothing that I wouldn’t have over and over again. There were no near misses.
Great ambiance and decor
Tapas plates ok but atmosphere more that makes up for any concerns
