Yuzu Kitchen brings a experience unique to the 'burgh. Our focus is to use the highest quality ingredients we can obtain and serve ramen, dons, and wok fired stir fry amongst other east asian fare to the highest of standards. We are strong believers that high quality ingredients lead to a better end product in both food and drink.

With a hip and fun atmosphere our casual dining room fills with the sound of hip hop and R&B. Drawing in a wide range of diners; from college students and patrons of the arts to couples out on a night on the town. Within walking distance to many downtown attractions from Market Square to Heinz Hall. Come join us before a show at the Pittsburgh Playhouse or a game at PPG Arena!

Very loud and reserved standard table, but given a high top upstairs. Our main course and drink orders were incorrect. Shellfish allergy and was served noodles with shrimp after making this fact known.

Food is always good. Angela our server was busy but attentive. We enjoyed several apps and small plates. Wine list is good and more reasonable priced than some places. Great casual neighborhood eatery for Asian fare (minus sushi). For sushi go to Mola in East Liberty and ask for Nadia!

We went here for a date night and loved it. The cocktails were unique and well-balanced and the food absolutely delicious. We will be back :)

Perfect place for a family dinner. I would come back to try out other dishes. I had a yellow curry and it was one of the best curries I had. Their green curry is also really good. A must have there is their salted tofu. That one is fav.

My first time here and I sat at the bar. The bartender, Amy I believe, was very helpful with menu suggestions. The Ribeye Smoked Brussels, Ramen - Shoyu Tare, and Matcha Green Tea Cake were excellent.

Our first time eating at Yuzu Kitchen. There are a few tables up front near the entrance and a long row of tables inside across from the bar. We all decide to try their Ramen. I forgot to take an photos. I had the Sukiyaki Ramen. It had a very tasty beef flavor with vegetable and mushrooms. I liked it a lot. My daughter had the Yuzu's Shio. It was pork in a slightly spicy broth which tasted like Sriracha. Ok flavor if you like things a bit spicy. My wife had the Shoyu Tare. It had pork with a somewhat milder broth. Not bad but not as good as mine tasted. We also tried one of their stir fry dishes. We got the mixed protein with the Yuzu Special sauce. All of the meats and shrimp were very tender. The sauce was slightly sweet and sticky and very enjoyable. We had a pot of the Jasmine tea which was also very tasty with a lightly sweet floral flavor. After dinner we tried a flight of Japanese whisky. They make the choices for you from a variety of styles and price ranges. A bit expensive @ $35 for 3 one-ounce tasters, but individual pours would have been even more expensive. Not quite the great experience I was hoping for but still enjoyable none the less. The biggest turn off of the whole meal wasn't the food nor the service, which were both good, but the ambiance. From the time we stepped into the restaurant until we left, they had Rap and Hip Hop playing over the speaker system. It was a little distracting and not the kind of music I would have expected from a nice Japanese restaurant. I'd go back again to try some different styles of stir fry or Ramen. Overall we had a good meal and enjoyed the experience.

Hostess was attentive and realized there was a line of people waiting to check in, she got out from behind her podium and asked each party if they had a reservation. We did and she sat us immediately. Restaurant was full for lunch but food came out quickly and was delicious. All four of my party enjoyed their meals. In and out in 45 minutes, great experience, will be back!
