We have worked hard to bring you not only the most authentic Japanese food in Bristol, but also a service and atmosphere that you could only otherwise get in Japan.

Being the first Japanese owned and run restaurant in Bristol, we strive to balance dishes that are loved by many, and dishes that can only be truly appreciated by those homesick for Japan.

Our menu ranges from an extremely healthy and traditional home-cooked dish, 'kinpira gobo' burdock root & carrots braised in soy sauce and sweet sake, to chicken teriyaki, sweet soy sauce glazed, tender and juicy free-range chicken.

Okonomiyaki is the best! this is the only place you can find Okonomiyaki in Bristol. we love the favourite platter.

I've been a customer at Yume Kitchen many times now, and I am never disappointed! Staff are always incredibly welcoming and helpful, service is incredibly quick and efficient, and the whole atmosphere is just delightful. Absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking authentic, fresh Japanese food in a charming and comfortable environment.

Small restaurant with big flavours! I've not had better Japanese cuisine since my holiday in Japan. Everything is prepared fresh and presented in a simple fashion, no frills but all the taste. I don't normally enjoy sushi, but being freshly prepared made all the difference and it was delicious. I would recommend booking ahead as this restaurant is small. We luckily did and when we entered the restaurant nearly every table had a reservation on it! Clearly a popular and well loved restaurant.

Good service but the quality of food seems to drop a little bit, Ton Katsu Curry is very cold and feel like ready to eat curry, not newly cook one. Sushi rice wasn’t well rolled, it just break in halve once picked up to eat.

We come regularly. But disappointed tonight. Slow service on drinks.... rainbow rolls lacked crab meat. And very noisy due to young poor & furniture falling about.
