Yuki Yama Ratings and Reviews
We just bought a vacation home in Canyons and invited close friends to join us for the weekend. We had a wonderful time together hiking, hot tubing, window shopping on Main St and hanging out but truly the highlight was Yuki Yama! We are adventurous eaters and 'Foodies' ... always game for new experiences and Yuki Yama did not disappoint! We ordered quite a bit and each dish was exciting, new and absolutely delicious! The saki was pretty awesome too! Shout out to the fabulous waitress from Moldova .. she described each dish, offered suggestions, was attentive to all of our needs and just had a very sweet personality. We had a blast!
The service and food was excellent. I had the Thai Mule as a cocktail and it was really good! My in-laws had never used chopsticks before, but they offered plastic helpers that you attach to the wooden chopstick to make it easier. As vegetarians, we had lots of options. The seaweed salad was delicious!
The sushi rolls were very compelling. The chef used unusual ingredients like sirloin. The wine pours were super small. One Glassdoor wine is suppose to be 5 oz but our pours were more like 3 oz. The service was fast and attentive. I would go again if I craved sushi in Park City.
The menu was varied enough to offer significant options even for non-sushi eaters. It was hard to determine what to order NOT because I couldn't find something I wanted to try, but rather, because I didn't know what not to order! The sushi was very fresh, very flavorful, and creatively crafted. (My husband often likes to include a vegetarian roll in his order, and he said the roll he ordered was very tasty and filled with interesting veggies.) Our family was very pleased with our dinner. We'll definitely put this on our restaurants to frequent list!
