Yuki Yama Ratings and Reviews
This place only keeps getting better. The fish is awesome and fresh! The flair on the traditional roll is excellent. They are always coming up with new and exciting menu items. I feel like they have something for everyone.
We recently went to Yuki to meet some long time friends of whom we hadn’t seen in a while. They were not the biggest sushi lovers but we were never worried as Yuki Yama didn’t disappoint. We got a beef tataki app which everyone loved along with some lamb lollipops and ribs. Everyone loved the flavors. For our mains we got several rolls including the executive and millipede which were gobbled up in minutes. The non sushi lovers had more of the lamb lollipops and some tempura veggies.
The service was very attentive and they kept clearing g plates as we finished making room for other rolls, sides, apps and drinks.
Don' t miss Yuki Yama!! Yuki Yama is just flat out excellent. Four of us went for dinner and had the pork gyoza and eel appetrizers - both were delicious. For dinner we had the Chiller maki, the Wagyu cooked on a salt block, the Ramen and the Bimibap bowl. Everything was perfect. The Chiller was the best maki I've ever eaten. The fish quality was perfect - ultra fresh and the flavors of the roll were incredibly well matched. We wish Yuki Yama was near our home in So. Cal - we'd eat there every night. Our server was also excellent - wonderful, informative and helpful service. I think his name was Mike B. and he was the perfect guide to dining at Yuki Yama.
Yuki Yama is one of our favorite restaurants in Park City! Each year we visit we always plan to eat there at least twice in one week. The rolls are delicious and unique. The Waygu beef that you cook on the salt rock is amazing! We also loved the ribs- we liked the sauce so much we asked for some rice to pour it on once we finished the ribs! The sake selection is great.
Wonderful, very fresh fish at a reasonable price, especially for a ski resort area. The selection of fish suggested a serious sushi restaurant, though our party thought the rice could be a bit fresher. Their ramen was also surprisingly delicious and full of umami. It was obvious the chef made their own broth.
Overall a delightful discovery in Park City Main Street area.
Early dinner on Xmas eve couldn't have been better. The Wagu baquette hit the spot as did the goya pork dumpling, the himachi yellowtail w/halapeno pepper, and the crispy tuna tartare. Food quality is more than above average and served promptly. We did feel rushed due to the fact that the staff continuously asked if we were finished so they could clear plates. Very annoying. We finally had to say 'please stop asking us...' The food, however, made up for the staff's lack of timing. We eat here every year and will return, hopefully with a better trained staff.
