Was not very crowded when we dined so that may have been a factor. Loved the Godzilla roll, and chef accommodated our request for substitutions (cucumber instead of avocado).

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          This was our first visit to Yucca. We were a party of 4 and we all absolutely loved our food. Everything from the soup(Mushroom) and appetizers (Edaname and Crab Ragoon), to our sushi rolls we were all so excited and satisfied. The prices were very reasonable. I have to order gluten free and this was one of the reasons I have not been able to enjoy sushi for awhile. Yucca has a dedicated gf menu which was very extensive. I was very, very pleased. My party loved their food as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the south suburbs.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          With all the restaurants popping up including grocery stores offering sushi, it is nice to go to a restaurant that knows how to prepare and serve fresh, tasty and eye appealing sushi, you have to try Yucca. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is refreshing. You have to try it

I was hesitant before entering the storefront doors, as they were covered with laminated specials like they have at every Nicky's I've seen; I half expected to see a three hotdogs/french fry combo for $3.99 posted among them. However, the actual restaurant is nicely decorated with dark, modern touches, and there are lots of booths in which to be seated. We ordered seared tuna and shrimp tempura w/vegetables for appetizers; the tuna was the most tender and tasty that I've had. It was incredibly tender--wow! Excellent tempura, especially the vegetables which included sweet potato and broccoli. Nicole, our sweet waitress, recommended a tuna roll with cilantro and jalepeno (as we wanted something spicy). It, too, was very unique and flavorful, but would have liked something a bit hotter (next time). The only thing I'd like to see change was the dull smooth jazz being played. Oh, and vodka martinis for $7? I'll be back!

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Everything was amazing at Yucca, from the decor to the cocktails to the service and of course the food. The meals were all fresh and creative. Many great flavors and some unique new combinations of rolls I have never seen before. An excellent choice and not too pricey.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          This was a birthday dinner for my son who loves sushi. There were 6 in all in our party and everyone was very satisfied with their meal. My son order sushi, and the rest of us ordered from the "cooked food" menu. We started out with crab rangoon and vegetable spring rolls - they were very yummy. Definitely a place to come back to.
