Surprised. Very good food and service. Easy access to NWS.
The Best mojitos! Food is great, we are repeat customers!
Service was great. Everything was delicious: Cuban comfort food with gourmet touches. The cocktails were also classic yet modern.
I have celiac disease. A server came and served me the incorrect dish. Double check or don’t come here if you have severe food allergies. Food was excellent, but the getting sick from the wrong meal was NOT worth it.
Excellent food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service from Alberto.
Good food and service
Great experience , excellent service
Wasnt my first time here, but the food wasnt as good this time around. Tables need a little maintenance, had to move from original setting due to a wobbly table. Service was great but a bit slow.
Wonderful experience and the food was awesome!
Service was pretty slow...took a long time for a simple appetizer and also the requested cappuccino at the end of the meal...20 minutes?
We had a reservation so we were seated immediately, but the restaurant wasn’t full anyway. Despite that, we waited 1 hour for our food. They brought us mariquitas while we waited. Then, my plate arrived and it didn’t seem right so I asked the waiter to confirm it wasn’t shrimp because I’m allergic. The waiter assured me it wasn’t shrimp, walked away and returned confirming same. I again begged him to be sure because of my allergy. He reaffirmed, so I took one bite and knew it was shrimp. The rest is private but needless to say, not good. The lack of care and service were appalling. Awful experience.
The food was not quality - extremely overpriced - service was good but I would not recommend it to anyone. You can have better food at a better price in a lot of other places
Food was good as per usual. We enjoyed the fried yuca, guacamole, mahi mahi, and lovely cocktails. Service is very hit-or-miss here. Previous experiences were fine. On this day, service was inattentive, slow in bringing requested food and drinks, and kept missing the mark on providing needed utensils (e.g., teaspoon instead of a serving spoon; one set of utensils instead of two...). Would give this place another chance as good is very good. Service needs improvement, though.
Excellent service and delicious food on Lincoln Road!! Location was perfect for activities nearby and the Yuca has Gluten Free options that were delicious, even for my non-GF friends. The GF Paella was very tasty and fresh, while the salmon and quinoa were perfect. I'm very sensitive and had no reaction to my meal.
Service was wonderful, food quite tasty, and will definitely return!
Not truly Cuban food
Outstanding service and food. All 6 of us loved out meal.
Raphael was excellent with a perfect recommendation on the skirt steak.
While the service was good, the food was truly poor. It is supposed to be a Cuban restaurant and the food was really bad and no where near what you would expect from Cuban dishes. This was very much a tourist restaurant for tourists who have no idea what real Cuban food is like. I would not recommend this place if what you are looking for is to try Cuban dishes.
Nice overall experience. Huge portions.
What an absolutely fantastic choice for New Years Eve dinner! The staff was friendly, relaxed and wonderful. The food was simply outstanding. Rarely have I had Cuban food in Miami Beach at such a high level, and certainly not from the touristy restaurants along Lincoln Road and Espanola Way. The drinks, in particular the Yuca Mojito, were sublime. Again, I cannot praise this particular dinner highly enough. A perfect start to the new year!
Waitress had an attitude, food wasn’t as good as usual.
Excelente !! Good food and Good price
Excellent food. Went there twice. Recommend the whole fried snapper.
Yuca has become our Cuban restaurant “go to” for this winter season. And now in addition to loving Alberto, we now have another wonderful waiter named Juan Pablo.
The food was really nice and our waiter too.
Sat outside so enjoy the environment But when going inside to use restroom a little dated and bathroom not maintained
It all began and ended with Alberto!! He was so attentive and helpful. The drinks were delicious, the food yummy and the desserts were amazing. We don’t know what took us so long to dine at Yuca but can’t wait to return next week!
Alejandro was our server... fantastic. My daughter is celiac and he was very knowledgeable about gluten cross contamination. Fantastic experience. And the food was fabulous!
Very cute, quiet place. The food was good, tasty. Friendly service.
Delicious food. We had the croquetas to start and the ceviche and salmon balserito for our entrees. Very flavorful. Loved it.
Excellent. Huge portion sizes for entrees
Our waiter only came two times which was to place our food order and drop off our check. The food was soaked in oil.
Food was over salted. We had empanadas, the Covina and salad and the Ropa vieja with mashed yuca(too sweet).
Birthday dinner for girlfriend. Service was outstanding: our server Rafael was one of the best servers we have ever had and made our experience simply outstanding. Food was fantastic also.
Alberto was a fantastic server! We ate off his recommendations and the good was prepared brilliantly.
Relaxing and peaceful dinner
