YUCA, an acronym for Young Urban Cuban-Americans, is widely known as being South Florida's original upscale Cuban restaurant featuring Innovative Nuevo Latino Cuisine or as the locals call it "Nuevo Latino." This style of cooking includes traditional Latin ingredients such as a plethora of textures, colors, and flavors that when combined creates a cuisine that is unique to anything offered outside of the Caribbean and Latin America.

YUCA can accommodate parties of up to 400 guests. Our private dining room seats 140 or up to 200 for receptions. We have a smaller, semi-private room, our VIP Room, accommodating up to 18. Finally, the Outside Dining Area is also a fun choice for enjoying your Nuevo Latino meal.

This restaurant was amazing! From the minute we walked in the door, we received the best customer service!! The manager, Orlando, was great! He greeted us warmly, attentively took care of us, and made us feel very welcome. Drinks, food, service and atmosphere were all really amazing!! The food was authentic upscale Cuban food, and it was delicious! Throughout the meal, we were serenaded by the talented violinist! My friends and I all agree that Yuca was definitely the highlight of the trip! Thanks to the restaurant and staff who made our night so special and fun!

It was our first visit- Six of us enjoyed every bite! Our waiter guided us through the menu and made wonderful suggestions!
The noise level was a bit too much for meaningful conversation but a great time!

The special steak of the day which was shredded and served with onions was to dry. There steaks were too tough. The paella was awesome. The half chicken was very good. Plenty of staff. The waiter was not Cuban so every time we asked specific questions as to preparation or ingredients he was not very knowledgeable. Empanadas were excellent.

We really wanted to like YUCA, but our experience fell short of our expectations. The food was very expensive ($50+ per person) for what you get. I ordered the grouper special for $36 and it was about a 3 ounce portion of fish with some grilled squash and rice. The service was efficient, friendly and professional. A friend ordered the whole fried fish ($39) and he said he was very disappointed because it was very overcooked and dry.
We wouldn't go back. Too many other places in South Beach that offer better food at more reasonable prices.

Amazing food, service was incredible, overall great great night with my honey! Also I’m gluten-free, grain-free, vegan, and have a lot of food allergies, and there was plenty I found to eat!

We were staying in Palm Beach area but wanted to head down to Lincoln Road for dinner.
We had heard that YUCA was good.
Traffic was terrible on I-95 S with multiple car crashes.
It took around 2 1/2 hours to get down to the restaurant and find parking but it was worth the effort.
Very good appetizer with warm goat cheese.
All entrees were very good as were the side dishes.

Service was poor but food excellent. They completely ignored the reservation time so we had to wait for 30 min at the bar. Then had to ask a few times to get a beer. The food though was very good. So if you are not in a rush, very nice place.

Nice evening, nothing special was here years ago, seemed more special. I had an early reservation, seated inside upfront, next to a table with a child that was not seated, sorry people even though it’s early, keep your children seated. This is not McDonald’s with a playroom. My table was set for 4, reservation for 2. I consistently saw 3-4 waitstaff watching the Lincoln Road walking traffic, no one intended to make our 4 a 2 until after appetizers. Twice had to ask a waiter (not mine) to refill water glasses, he never did. Finally a busboy did. Not without three waiters watching the walking 🚶 pass by. Not really worth $140 for 2. No alcohol. No dessert. I always leave a 20%+ tip, but Yuca included a 18% tip in the bill for 2, I gave no extra.
